The scene begins with a shot of a dark room. The only light is up close by the camera. Out of the darkness, Marty Scurll walks forward. He’s wearing sunglasses, a white dress shirt with no tie, and a fur coat. His umbrella is in his hand.
Marty Scurll: Last week I destroyed Mick Foley. I wouldn’t be surprised if he finally permanently retires after the beating he suffered at my hands.
Scurll takes off his sunglasses, he’s visibly angry and he’s fidgeting around trying to contain his rage.
Marty Scurll: Now this week, I’ve been once again disrespected. Tommaso Ciampa, are you kidding me? They’re asking me to get into the ring with a low life. Someone who just last week lost clean in the middle of the ring to the numpty, Dalton Castle. This is disrespect of the highest order. The Villain Marty Scurll should be wrestling the best of the best in this company.
Scurll takes his umbrella and smashes it against the wall multiple times in anger and screams.
Marty Scurll: Week after week I have been disrespected. First, after pinning Chris Hero in the center of the ring, I wasn’t given a one on one shot for his title like I earned. No, instead I was forced into a triple threat match where my victory was stolen by me from some bumbling buffoon with a silly name. Then, i was forced to enter at number 12 in the Royal Rumble. Kenny Omega wasn’t even supposed to be in the damn match. Anybody can come in fresh at number 30 and win the Royal Rumble. I mean Bret Hart in his old age probably would’ve won if wasn’t taken out. Next, I was placed in a match with a 52 year old man. 52 damn years old. He could barely hobble to the ring let alone wrestle. Now this, Tommaso Ciampa is a joke. Why am I being forced to wrestle lower tier wrestlers while others get the night off? Kenny Omega is back home relaxing in Japan, and The Velveteen Dream is nowhere to be found. Two of this companies champions are on vacation and that’s a damn travesty. I am tired of being put to the side.
Scurll takes what’s left of the umbrella and breaks it over his knee. He once again lets out a primal scream. The segment ends with Marty Scurll laughing. He walks away and fades into the darkness. The words “Fear the Villain” appear on the screen before the segment cuts to black.
Tomasso Ciampa?
Re: Tomasso Ciampa?
Good work, Griffith! I really like what you're putting in the promo portion of your RPs! The bit about the champions being on vacation really stood out to me. You do a good job of setting the scene too! I would love to see you build around these promos with a little bit more story and give us a little more info on Marty and what he's about.
You're doing a great job for having never been in feds before! And if you keep practicing at it, you're going to be winning more in no time. :) Let us know how/if we can help!
