Defeated

Marty Scurll sits in a dark room as the camera approaches him. He looks up and then slowly gets to his feet.

Scurll: Last week I was defeated by Aiden English. He was the better man and is now the number one contender for the breakout championship.

Scurll looks down defeated with disappointment in his eyes.

Scurll: Throughout my time here in the EBWF I have squandered opportunity after opportunity. Number one contenders match after number one contenders match. I lost to Jeff hardy, Aiden English and Braun Strowman because I was focused on Jimmy Havoc and Wes Ikeda.

Scurll slowly begins pacing around the room.

Scurll: I still have my gripes with management, but I’m looking past it for now. Bringing the smack down to Wes Ikeda will have to wait.

Scurll walks out of the room and into the hallway where he sees posters of all of the men who have defeated him in the EBWF. He begins to get overwhelmed and drops to his knees.

Scurll: I call myself a villain, but recently I haven’t acted like one. I talk trash on twitter and then lose my match.

Scurll gets up off his knees and begins tearing down the posters

Scurll: The king of the Ring tournament is where I get my moniker back. Where I earn the title of Villain. This week I’ll beat Seth Rollins and then next time I’ll beat whoever stands in front of me. I will get to the finals and hopefully I’ll be facing off against Jimmy Havoc and we can finally face off. Until then, I want every member of the roster to get ready. Once I become the Villain again, they’re in store for an unimaginable pain. Marty Out.
