I knew you'd come!

Post by Brian W. »

- Matt Hardy was seen backstage in a hallway immediately following the conclusion of Monday Warfare. Hardy, still sweaty and exhausted from his match with Chris Jericho, was seen pulling the hair on his head in anger. Michael Cole rushed up to Hardy with a microphone in his hand. Before Cole asked his question, you could hear Hardy mumbling to himself –

Michael Cole: Sorry to interrupt you Matt, but you seem pretty upset about what just happened in your match tonight. Can you tell me what you are thinking?

Matt Hardy: Cole, things are not always as they appear to BEEEEEEE! However, this time, your eyes have not deceived you! Matt Hardy…. I, am very distraught. But it has nothing to do with what transpired in the ring just now.

Michael Cole: What are you upset about then, Matt?

Matt Hardy: I am upset about the exact same thing I have been upset about for the past couple of EEEEEEEEEvenings, Cole. Simply put, I am upset about what was said between Jericho and Paul London. Paul. London. A mere mortal, who, is indeed a false prophet. I walked this planet with many false prophets before. Back in the day when Jesus was walking this earth, I walked beside him. Jesus was met by false prophet after false prophet. They all said the same thing. They all spread lies about Jesus, much like London is spreading lies about me. In this time right now, Jericho, you and London are the false prophets. I, on the other hand, am Jesus!

Michael Cole: Are you saying that you believe yourself to be Jesus?

Matt Hardy: BLASHPHEMY! I would never say that. Never…. EEEEEEEVVVVVVVVVER!

- Hardy laughed hysterically and then return to his composed state –

Matt Hardy: Tell me, Jericho, how is it that London could give you good news about your match with me tonight, but wouldn’t tell you anything else about going further in the tournament? Is it because he is a liar and a phony? Or is there a chance… even just a minuscule chance that he can indeed see the future? If that is the case, why wouldn’t he tell you your futurrrrre? Maybe it’s because he knows the pain and misfortune that waits for you, once you are done breaking down your imaginary walls. Maybe it’s because he knows, much like I do, that you are in for a big fall. A loss in the tournament of kings, and then a loss of your soul from your body. From your body, to The Hardy Compound, where you will forever help me. YEEEEEESSSSS Jericho, enjoy your time in the tournament, because soon, your time in this industry will be…. DELEEEEEEEEEEEEETED!

- As Hardy came to a silence, he appeared to look behind the camera man at something, or someone standing there. He got a big smile on his face, showing all of his pearly white teeth –

Matt Hardy: Yeeeeeesssssss! It’s you. I’ve been waiting for you. I knew you’d come!

- The camera turned around to see who Hardy was talking to, but there was no one there. The camera then turned around to where Hardy had been standing, but Hardy was no where to be found. The camera faded to darkness –
