The Night After

[David]

[The scene fades in with Christian in his hotel room talking on the phone, still in the attire he wore to his EBWF appearance, his eyes were baggy and he was visibly tired as he was constantly rubbing his eyes.]

Christian: Yes, I'm officially contracted to EBWF... No, Adam isn't with me, we are two separate people, you know that right? I don't know where he is, why don't you call him? What do you mean; it's cheaper to call me instead? We all have the same phone plan! I know... I'm sorry for shouting... I understand... NO I CAN'T HAND HIM THE PHONE, HE'S NOT WITH ME! ... Okay, sleep tight, nana.

[Christian hung up the phone and headed toward the bedroom. Just as he was about to open the door, the phone rang once more.]

Christian: WHAT THE HELL?! Can't a guy get some sleep around here?

[Christian answered the phone and rubbed his eyes out of sleep, and a soothing female voice was heard on the other side of the phone.]

Female voice: Mr. Reso?

Christian: Yeah, that's me...

Female voice: Mr. Reso, this is the hotel front desk with the wake-up call that you requested to your bedroom at 6 a.m.

Christian: 6 a.m. already? Are you serious?

Female Voice: Yes sir, we hope you have a great day today!

Christian: Gee... Thanks...

[Once more, Christian hung up the phone, and quickly disconnected it as he noticed that dawn was breaking. He then grabbed a camcorder from his bag and set up a tripod on the table facing the couch, he started the recording and the camera view shifted to one as if the entire segment was being filmed with the camcorder.]

Christian: That's enough! I really appreciate the fan support, but guys, seriously, I need some sleep! So, all the questions, all the e-mails, tweets, Facebook messages, phone calls, texts, and even letters are going to be answered here in the hopes that I can finally get some rest. So allow me to welcome all of you to the first ever online edition of the Peep Show. This week, the guest is none other than Captain Charisma himself, Christian! I’m here to finally set everything straight. First of all, I meant what I said on Warfare last night, every single damn word of it! I am here to make an impact, and leave a mark on the face of EBWF; A mark that can never be erased, and the name of that mark is "Christian's Never-Ending World Title Reign!" Catchy, isn't it? Anyways, the next most asked question of all, is why is Captain Charisma in the squared circle again? The answer to that is quite simple, and it's not just because I want another World Title around my waist, although that would make a great addition both to my Wikipedia page and to my Resume; It isn’t because of the big fat paycheck at the end of the month; And it isn’t to steal the limelight from the newer talent... It's because of the peeps; they deserve to have the Instant Classic entertaining them on a weekly basis! The last thing I want to address in this video is my first opponent in EBWF...

[Christian took a deep breath and looked at the sun rising outside his hotel window, before looking back into the camera.]

Christian: Curt Hawkins... Now, Curt isn't exactly the sharpest tool in the box, as a matter of fact, I just about think he's the slowest tool I've ever come across. I mean, first to align himself with someone like Kane, a man whose sickening mind is only surpassed by his sickening breath. Then going cuckoo bananas and blaming everything on Ryder and Barretta... The guy is on a downward spiral, and I hate to be the one to tell him that the spiral isn't over, because Captain Charisma is here to prove himself again!

[Christian looked to his left and nodded as if he was greeting someone with a smirk on his face.]

Christian: This has been the peep show, and now I’m off to bed to get myself some sleep… Thanks for watching, And THAT my peeps, is how I roll! See you soon, peeps!

[As Christian said this, he hit his chest three times, kissed the tips of his right index and middle fingers and pointed toward the camera. He then turned it off and the view went back to normal HD cameras. Christian headed to the computer and started uploading the video to his YouTube channel, when his MSN started signaling that someone was talking to him. The camera revealed the screen name was Rhino Richards and he was inviting Christian to a Video Chat, which he instantly accepted with a smile.]

Rhino: So... you forgot to mention EBWF last week to me and Adam... What gives?

Christian: Last week, not even I knew that I was going to EBWF, but I should have told you guys about it...

Rhino: No worries, if it makes you feel any better, we were actually watching the show because of the rumors that were flying around, and we jumped out of the couch when we found out the rumors of your signing weren't as exaggerated as we thought!

Christian: Yeah, I guess not, so next Monday on warfare I'm up against Curt Hawkins! He'll definitely put up a tough fight... NOT!

Rhino: Ahaha! Well, if he does put up a fight, You can make sure he gets a Gore, just for his troubles, that always makes them go nighty-night.

Christian: That actually might get his mind back in place! Well, listen man; I got absolutely no sleeping done tonight, so I'm gonna hit the hay... I'll talk to you tomorrow, man!

[Christian laughed as the call was turned off and he got done uploading his video. Christian then got up from his chair, and finally got some well-needed rest. The camera focuses on the sun high in the sky in Oklahoma City, before sending the scene to black and ending the segment.]

Kudos on reading up on Hawkins' history. Nice touch. A lot of new comers will just toss out generic insults.

I liked the general introduction to the character, and the fact as Miles pointed out that he has "done his homework" on recent EBWF facts.

I would suggest lengthening the focus on your partner and you'll be good to go!

Thanks for the feedback :) But Rhino isn't his partner, he'll just talk to Christian sometimes, as he and Edge are childhood friends with Christian :)
