The scene opened up backstage the day before EBWF Warfare. Miz was seen in a three piece suit he was making his way through the lobby at an extremely fast pace. Renee Young hustled to catch up with him. He had the EBWF Championship over his shoulder, upon stopping he adjusted the title. He looked somewhat annoyed that Renee had caught up to him.
Renee Young: Miz- how are you?
The Miz: Honestly Renee- I'm not great. Last week- I realized that one of the guys who's been attacking me these past two weeks, is that deadbeat loser Alex Riley. I thought I was done with this guy like forever- and now he's sticking his nose in my business. Now he's showing what I've always known and that is that he's extremely jealous of me, and can't stand to see me be on top of this business.
Renee Young: You gotta stay focused though, no? Tomorrow night you have Chavo Guerrero, what are your thoughts going into that match?
The Miz: Renee have you not been watching the show these past couple of weeks? It doesn't freaking matter who I'm going up against. A-Ri and whoever the heck his partner in crime in, have been trying to knock me off, and get in my head. Last week- I showed Alex what happens when you screw with me, and this coming week I have some things up my sleeve to make sure that whoever his buddy is in this, learns that same lesson. In the meantime- the plan is to get the living crap out of Chavo Guerrero Jr. - I didn't even realize he still worked here.. it's great.. it's cute.. it's going to be short lived.. because when he runs into the greatest of the great, cream of the crop, best of the best.. he's going to wish he retired 20 years ago.. when everyone thought he did.
Renee Young: Anything else?
The Miz: No- not now- I'm sorry Renee- I have to go.
The Miz stormed off- it was clear he was completely hell bent on revealing who that second man in the mask was.
