Beauty School Promise

As Warfare returned from break, the camera appeared backstage just as Heath Slater walked through the parking lot doors. He towed his suitcase behind him as he entered the arena. In Heath’s other hand, he held his cell phone up to his ear.

Heath Slater: ”Yes honey... I know dear... I am taking this seriously... I know that the King of the Ring Tournament means big things...”

Slater walked by a few other superstars as he spoke on the phone.

Heath Slater: ”Beulah, I know that if I win the King of the Ring Tournament you can finally go to beauty school and learn to be a hairdresser... No... No... I told you already Beulah, I’m not trying to sabotage your dreams... I know you want to own your own salon... Yes, I want you to get it...”

He continued to pass his coworkers as he stayed on the phone with his wife.

Heath Slater: ”Yes, I’m going to try to win tonight so I can make your dream come true... Yes Beulah, I promise I will do better than my best... No, I don’t think PJ will sub for me... I don’t think it’s allowed... No PJ’s not that much better than me... I can be a champion too, you know... I beat The Miz... Yes I did... If I can get the shot, I will become World Champion... Yes I will... Yes I can... Beulah, you never have faith in me... I can win... Stop crying... I will get you into beauty school, I promise... Yes, no matter what... Love you too, Beulah.”

Slater hung up the phone and looked around. Everyone stared at him after hearing his conversation.

Heath Slater: ”Wives..”

He quickly ducked down the hallway and walked out of view of the camera.
