Elias was sitting on a shipping crate backstage strumming his guitar as the scene opened. He played a few notes before hitting a sour one. He looked down at the guitar and shook his head. Elias mimicked tuning the guitar but didn’t turn any of the tuning knobs. When he struck the next note he altered his finger placement and hit the right note. This time he smiled as though he had solved the issue. Renee Young stepped into frame from behind him with a microphone.

Renee Young: Elia…

Elias leapt off the shipping crate, shifting his guitar into a striking position as he did. When he pivoted to see Renee, his demeanor changed instantly.

Renee Young: ...s. Do you have a few minutes to talk about your match against Tommy End here tonight?

Elias sat back down on the shipping crate and strummed a few more notes.

Elias Samson: Renee, I always have time for someone as beautiful as you! Who did you say I’m competing against tonight?

Renee Young: Tommy End of Legion.

Elias spun around and cupped his hand over Renee’s mouth. He glanced up and down the hall quickly. She was confused and after several seconds he pulled his hand away, but he was clearly on edge.

Elias Samson: You can’t say the L word. They might show up. Like that Guerrero woman and her enforcer.

Renee Young: You mean Aiden?

Elias Samson: No, that damn CM Punk. She shows up threatening to have him beat me up if I don’t play along with her schemes. Forcing me to attack Guerrero. At least End and his crew just attack people instead of making threats.

Renee Young: I’m sorry, are you saying you would rather deal with Legi…

Elias cupped his hand over Renee’s mouth again and shook his head.

Elias Samson: You can’t say it.

Elias pulled his hand away slowly as if expecting Renee to say the word anyway.

Elias Samson: We’ll just call them Countless for the purposes of this interview.

Renee Young: Okay… Countless, got it. So are you telling me that you’d rather face L… Countless, than interact with Raquel Diaz?

Elias Samson: I can’t be the only one who feels that way. I’ve seen the way she treats you Renee. Wouldn’t you rather interview T.E., M.D. or Z.S. any day of the week?

Renee Young: Wait, we can’t even say their individual names now?

Elias Samson: You can but I won’t be held responsible for their actions if you do. Their a little bit loco! Why do you think I didn’t join Aiden on Team EBWF? The fans aren’t worth risking my life! Look at the hell they put Jimmy Havoc through, and he was part of their little group!

Renee Young: They are a sadistic bunch which is why it surprises me that you’re more worried about running into Raquel and Punk than L… Countless.

Elias Samson: T may take my soul but I think Diaz would enslave it. Countless are demons, I have no doubt but Diaz is the devil incarnate. Trust me when I say you want to avoid her where possible!

Renee Young: I will keep that in mind. Are you prepared to take on Tommy End tonight?

Elias Samson: What did you say?

Renee Young: Are your prepared to face Tommy End one on one tonight?

Elias Samson: Wait, I’m going up against End? Why didn’t you lead with that one Renee? I have to go prepare!

Renee Young: But, I did…

Elias had already left the frame and Renee held up a hand to call after him but just gave up and shook her head into the camera.
