The scene opens up to a dark, empty room. Suddenly a light comes on, and the camera comes into focus to show Becky Lynch sitting on a stool, tapping her foot. She is wearing blue jeans, red t-shirt, and black boots. There is a single light bulb hanging above her head. She sits silently for a few minutes, then a smile comes across her face. She begins to speak.
Becky: “All my life I have had to fight tooth and nail to get what I want, it is no different with my career. I am okay with that, I would rather work hard for what I have instead of having it handed to me. It is more of an accomplishment to know that I have worked for what I have, it means more. Since coming here to Ebwf I have worked my ass off to get to this point, and I will continue to work hard until I win the Women’s title. Anything or anyone who stands in my way will be dealt with. Velvet Sky thought she was going to stop my momentum but she was wrong, just like I said I was going to beat her and I did. Everything I have set out to do I have done.”
Becky leans forward and continues to speak.
Becky: “I have been to hell and back throughout my career, I’ve been held down, not able to be my real self. When I was finally able to be me and show my talent I exploded. I began winning matches, and titles. That was an amazing feeling, I became obsessed with being the best, becoming champion. When I came to Ebwf I had the same goal in mind, be the best and win titles. That is why I have said that no matter what it takes, I will continue to win matches, and continue to fight until I win my first title here in Ebwf. That is the reason I am here, and if that isn’t the reason to be here then you don’t belong.”
Becky chuckled and continued to speak.
Becky: “Now this week I face Raquel Diaz, she is no different than any of my other opponents, just an obstacle in the way of me winning the title. Now I understand that Raquel has her own accomplishments, and probably her own intentions to win the title at some point, but none of that matters. The fact is I am the number one contender, and future champion. This week on Warfare I will do the same thing I did last week, win. I am not worried about facing Raquel, I am confident that I can beat her. Raquel walks around here like everything should be given everything and that she is above everyone. It is time for someone to knock her down a few notches, I am just the person to do just that.”
Becky grins and continues to speak
Becky: You may be part of the self proclaimed first family of wrestling, but that is not going to save you from being defeated. I have no problem taking you out, it doesn't matter to me. I will run through anyone who gets in my way. There is not going to be anything or anyone who stops you from winning this week on Warfare. So go ahead and bring your husband, or any of your other “family members” and the result will still be the same, you laying on your back looking up at me with my hand raised in victory. The fact is I am a better wrestler than you and that is not going to change. I am actually looking forward to our match this week, it is going to be fun to beat you. I am actually going to take joy in tearing you apart.’
Becky leans forward and looks directly into the camera and continues to speak.
Becky: “Raquel I want to be very clear, bring your best self to our match, because when I beat you I don’t want there to be any excuses. There will be no disputing that I am better than you, hell I am the best in this women’s division, and that shows.”
Becky gets up and leaves the camera view, the scene fades to black.
