Through Thick and Thin

We quickly find Tam Nakano within the backstage area of the Barclays Center, sporting her ring gear as she stretches for her upcoming match. She soon notices the camera homing in on her with a surprise and promptly flashes a smile.

Tam Nakano: Kon'nichiwa EBWF Universe!

Tam briefly waved at the camera before a jolt of pain shot all the way up her arm, quickly jerking her hand back. She bowed her head, letting out a sigh before her eyes met the camera once more.

Tam Nakano: Last week I went to battle with the self-proclaimed "real" Women's Champion and while I managed to win, Becky had me fight to the very bitter end for that three-count. She tried to make an example out of me as a direct message to Trish Stratus, but I refuse to play a part in her mad revenge plot against the actual EBWF Women's Champion. She saw the innocent exterior, and just as many have done before her, never expected that this cutie would pack a serious punch! Last week was only the calm before the storm however, because this week? I go from facing the bitter rival of Trish Stratus to facing her best friend and partner-in-crime. A woman who wrestled for many years back in Japan and quickly gained a reputation there for being one of the best technical wrestlers among some of the world's greatest. A woman who was literally born into this business with the blood of wrestling royalty flowing through her veins. Tonight, I take on Natalya.

Again Tam sighed, seemingly psyching herself up for the match ahead.

Tam Nakano: I know that if I'm not careful, I could very well have a mangled pair of legs to match my arm by the end of the night, but I'm not about to throw in the towel after coming this far. Natalya is an established name here in EBWF with more accolades to her name than I can count, and that's exactly why I'm going to go out there tonight, I'm gonna defy all expectations and I'm going to beat Natalya in the middle of that ring! Just as Becky did last week, Natalya will be walking into this match having never heard the name Tam Nakano. As far as she's concerned? I'll just be another notch on the tally in the long list of women she's beaten into submission, but I promise that once the bell rings? I'll give her plenty of reason to remember my name. I'm not just another passing rookie who's looking to test the waters before taking my leave when the going gets tough. I'm here to make a name for myself just as you did, Nattie, and I'm here to do it bett-

???: And now, introducing the best there is, the best there was and the best there ever will be, Bret "The P-Chan" Haaaaaaaaaaaart!

With a roll of her eyes, Tam pulled P-Chan out from behind her back. The stuffed Panda boasted his best Bret Hart cosplay, starting from the black leather jacket all the way to the signature pink-tinted shades, all while humming Bret's renown entrance theme!

Tam Nakano: P-Chan, what are you doing!? We have a very important singles match only a couple of hours away!

P-Chan: What does it look like I'm doing? I'm making an impression!

Tam Nakano: For who!?

P-Chan: Who do you think? For Natalya, of course! I've dreamed of meeting Nattie since I was just a cub - dreams of gazing into those big, beautiful brown eyes. Thoughts of hearing her angelic laugh ring throughout my ears like the chord of a harp. Fantasies of letting her hold me in those big, strong arms of hers. My fur is standing up!

Tam Nakano: P-Chan! You better get your head in the game! Listening to you last week almost cost me my match against Becky Lynch!

P-Chan: That's right, pin the blame on the endangered species! You won the match, didn't ya'? So what if you took a little beating - that's the nature of the sport! Psst, by the way, do you think Nattie is into short guys? What I lack in height I make up for in other ways if you know what I mean.

Tam quickly placed her hand over P-Chan's mouth in panic, scouring their immediate surroundings to ensure nobody heard.

Tam Nakano: You can't say that, P-Chan. Natalya is a married woman! And not only that? She's married to our BOSS!

P-Chan: Boss schmoss! The heart wants what it wants. I can't be blamed for that! Look, I'm not saying you have to lay down for her out there, I'm just asking you to go easy on her! I'd hate for you to bruise that alluring face of hers. And that's the bottom line, because P-Chan said so!

Tam Nakano: That's not even a Bret Hart quote!

With a shake of her head, Tam turned her attention back towards the camera.

Tam Nakano: Regardless of what a certain lovesick Panda might say, I won't be going easy on you tonight, Natalya, and I fully expect the same in return. I know this might be the toughest fight since showing up here, but if laying the groundwork for my EBWF career means scoring the ultimate upset over you tonight, then my hands are tied. Lace up your boots and meet me in the ring, because it's Tam time!

Tam shot the camera a wink before disappearing out of shot with the scene ending moments later.
