FIVE MINUTES AFTER WARFARE
As the curtain was drawn on that episode of Warfare, Finn Balor walked into the gorilla position from the ring and walked back into the hall, he was pumped up, you could see from his face his reaction to his first win on EBWF television put him in the right mindset. He clutched his leather jacket over his right arm as sweat poured off his body.
He walked into the locker room, shook hands with some of the talent and a production assistant tapped him on the shoulder and told him that Cathy Kelley was waiting to talk to him outside. Finn nodded and grabbed a towel and wiped himself down before taking a drink of water and putting his jacket on.
Finn walked out of the locker room and Cathy Kelley was stood there with a EBWF cameraman.
Cathy Kelley: Hey, Finn, you okay to talk?
Finn nodded and took another sip of his water before clicking his neck and coughed. Ready to talk.
Cathy Kelley: Okay, in three… two… Good evening EBWF Universe, I am Cathy Kelley with EBWF Online here with the winner of tonight’s main event, Finn Bálor, Finn, how do you feel after picking up your first win against The Fiend, Bray Wyatt?
Finn Bálor: Good evening, I am not surprised, I told Bray that I would decimate him, he needs to understand he may be the fiend but I am the Prince of Darkness and I am sick of explaining that to people. I am where I am because I take that anger from within and I push it to the limit and I use it to make me better, faster, stronger.
Cathy Kelley: Congratulations once again. You have made it clear in the past about what you think of The Coalition, earlier on, after Raven’s match with Christian, The Coalition gave Raven a beat down, what are your thoughts?
Finn Bálor: Listen, and I know The Coalition will be listening to me, because their leader Alexa Bliss is one of the most self centred women in the business. If she sees her name anywhere she’ll be interested. Raven won that match fair and square, and The Coalition had the audacity to stick their oar in. Then, Christian, the self proclaimed Captain Charisma himself decided to stake a claim to the Gateway title? After losing? I mean… I don’t know what world he thinks he is on, but you don’t stake your claim to a title after losing a match, I haven’t even staked my claim and I won my match.
Cathy Kelley: Are you not a little fearful that what could happen to Raven could possibly happen to you, as well after these words?
Finn Bálor: Absolutely not. Raven was celebrating his victory, he was caught off guard, that’s what they do, they hit people when they have their backs turned, and after what happened with Raven, I’m not going to take any chances. I’m not afraid, I’m just smart.
Cathy Kelley: Okay, Finn. That’s all we have time for tonight, thank you for joining me, congratulations on the win tonight, we look forward to what’s to come.
The camera cut and Finn walked away from the locker room with his things and left the arena.

Finn was staying at a big hotel in Sacramento ready for the WARFARE card to be announced, he knew he was going to be at Warfare whether he was wrestling or doing a promo. Finn was in his room on the phone.Sacramento, California
Finn: You’re at the hotel already? Okay, sounds good. I have an interview in about ten minutes so come by and I’ll meet you after… Okay, see you two soon.
Finn walked out of his hotel room, dressed smartly, he walked down to the lobby and asked reception if anyone had asked for him, they pointed to a reception room and Finn walked through the door of the reception room. He saw there was a big EBWF logo in front of a black sheet and a camera crew set up in front of it, he looked around and Cathy Kelley walked into the room.
Cathy Kelley: Hey, Finn, sorry I’m late. We’ll just head over to the crew and then start the interview, that okay with you?
Finn Bálor: Yeah, no problem, any talking points for me? Or shall I just wing it?
Cathy Kelley: I actually have some breaking news that I’m going to inform you of and then get your genuine reaction.
Finn Bálor: Fine by me.
They walked over to the logo in front of the crew and stood waiting, before Cathy Kelley started counting down before the cameraman pointed at her.
Cathy Kelley: Good afternoon, I’m Cathy Kelley for EBWF Online and I am here with the Prince of Darkness, Finn Bálor. How are you Finn?
Finn Bálor: Thank you, Cathy. Pleasure to be here.
Cathy Kelley: Finn, we have received breaking news from EBWF Headquarters in St Louis, with both the Breakout and Gateway Championships currently vacant, EBWF has announced an eight-man tournament to crown new champions. The tournament final will take place at WrestleMania 20, with the winner of the tournament being crowned the new Gateway Champion, and the runner-up earning the Breakout Championship. You, Finn Bálor will be facing Christian in the first round of the tournament.
Finn looked a little shocked.
Finn Bálor: Wow, so Christian’s little shouting match last Monday really did the trick, right. Look Cathy, I’m very grateful for the opportunity given to me so far here at EBWF, I know I don’t always seem appreciative but I am and a chance to win the Gateway championship is a huge thing for me.
Cathy Kelley: Before that even becomes a thought though, you still have to beat Christian on Monday in the first match of the tournament.
Finn Bálor: Look, Christian was a good worker. Was, being the operative word in this situation, he isn’t like his old friend Edge, who time after time has shown he is able to adapt and evolve to the situation around him, not to mention Christian has surrounded himself with has beens and an egotistical maniac for a leader.
Cathy Kelley: As we spoke about on Monday, the attack on Raven is something to think about, are you worried in The Coalition getting involved in your match with Christian?
As Cathy Kelley asked the question, the main door opened and footsteps were heard behind the camera.
Finn Bálor: No, Cathy. As I always said when I was leader of the Bullet Club back in Japan, if you want to go fast you go alone, if you want to go far you go together. I’m not scared of The Coalition, because The Bálor Club never backs down from a fight.
With that, Finn stood up, took his shirt off and was wearing a Bálor Club tee, he looked at Cathy Kelley and smiled.
Finn: Cathy Kelley, please may I introduce you to my friends, Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa, The Guerillas of Destiny who are relinquishing their seventh and record breaking reign as Heavyweight Tag Champions in Japan to join me as the newest additions to The Bálor Club.
With that, Tanga Loa and Tama Tonga walked into shot, wearing Bálor Club tees and stood behind Finn Bálor.
Cathy Kelley: Breaking news after breaking news today, The Guerrilas of Destiny have joined EBWF and Finn Bálor as members of The Bálor Club, thanks for watching.
She said as the cameras cut a final time.
