The scene opened at the entrance to the backstage area. Charly Caruso was standing with a microphone, and she looked anxious as she continued to keep her eye on the door.
Charly Caruso: Ladies and Gentlemen, I've been informed that Trish Stratus has arrived here to the arena tonight, and I am hoping to get an interview with her as soon as...
On cue, the door opened and Trish entered, followed by the Rated R Superstar Edge. She stopped in her tracks, eyeing Charly as she pulled her huge Jackie O sunglasses off her face and pushed them up onto her head. Edge stood by her side.
Charly Caruso: Trish, I was hoping to have a word with you about your presence here tonight.
Trish Stratus: My presence here tonight? I should be here, on television, every. single. show. Do I have a match at Wrestlemania? It's Wrestlemania 20, is Trish Stratus featured? Longest reigning Women's Champion of all time. TWICE. Set the record, had it broken by someone who isn't even around anymore, and then set it again, because I am the best women's wrestler in the world. Am I at Wrestlemania 20?
Charly shook her head.
Trish Stratus: So my presence here tonight should come as absolutely no surprise to you, Chuck. I'm pissed.
Charly Caruso: But Trish, is it true that you're Ronda Rousey's mystery opponent here tonight?
Trish smirked and then rolled her eyes.
Trish Stratus: I guess you'll find out. Oh, and Charly?
Charly's eyebrow raised in acknowledgement.
Trish Stratus: When the number one contender for the EBWF World championship is standing here. You acknowledge him.
Edge chuckled, and threw his arm around Trish. The two of them walked off, leaving Charly looking after them as the scene faded.
Is it True?
Is it True?
