Fans in the Paycom Center were on their feet as Warfare went live and pyro shot out all over the staging area.
Mauro Ranallo: Good evening and welcome to Warfare. We’re well on our way to Fanniversary, and first up we have a clash of wills as Samoa Joe takes on Stone Cold Steve Austin!
"Nation Of Violence" hit and Samoa Joe marched down to the ring.
Mauro Ranallo: Samoa Joe confronted Steve Austin last week about Austin targeting the Breakout Championship.
Nigel McGuinness: Whoever wins tonight has to be considered the number one contender.
Joe entered the ring and removed the towel from his head as "Glass Shatters" hit and the crowd erupted in cheers for Stone Cold Steve Austin.
Mauro Ranallo: Stone Cold has been successful ever since his return at Summerslam and now he has his sights set on the Breakout Championship.
Nigel McGuinness: And that has put him in the sights of the Samoan Submission Machine.
Austin got in the ring and staired Joe down when "Take Over V2" hit and the Breakout Champion Christian Cage walked down the ramp.
Nigel McGuinness: It looks like Christian Cage is making his way over here.
Christian arrived at the announce booth and put on a headset.
Christian Cage: What's sup guys? Since these two want my championship, I figured I'd get a closer look.
The bell rang and the two men locked up. Austin kicked Joe in the gut and went for the Stone Cold Stunner but Joe pushed him off.
Mauro Ranallo: Austin went for the Stunner early.
Christian Cage: He can hit it at anytime which is why you have to be on guard.
The two locked up again but this time Joe hit a kick to Austin's gut and delivered a suplex. Joe picked Austin up but Stone Cold fought back with a series of punches, then ran off the ropes and hit Joe with a Lou Thesz Press before delivering more punches. Austin climbed up to the middle rope and hit Joe with an elbow drop. When Joe got to his feet Austin locked him in the Million Dollar Dream but Joe quickly escaped and threw Austin out of the ring before nailing him with a Suicide Dive.
Mauro Ranallo: Samoa Joe is showing that he wants another shot at you Christian.
Christian Cage: I'll be more than happy to face him again and prove why I am the Instant Classic.
Samoa Joe picked Austin up and whipped him into the steel steps before he threw him back into the ring. Joe re-entered the ring and hit Austin with a powerbomb, then went for the pin.

KICKOUT!
Nigel McGuinness: Joe almost cost himself the match.
Christian Cage: He should be more focused on Stone Cold instead of the champ right now.
Both men got to their feet and Joe ran at Austin but got caught with a Stun Gun. Austin picked Joe up and went to lock in the Million Dollar Dream again but this time Joe countered and locked in the Coquina Clutch. Austin struggled and climbed up the middle rope but Joe held on and climbed up the middle rope as well before he hit a German Suplex off the middle rope. Both men's shoulders were down and the referee counted.

Mauro Ranallo: The match is over but who won?
The referee whispered into Christy Hemme's ear and she held the microphone up to her mouth.
Christy Hemme: Ladies and Gentlemen both men's shoulders were down therefore this match has ended in a draw.
The crowd booed and Christian Cage got up from the announce booth and grabbed a microphone, then entered the ring as the two competitors got to their feet.
Christian Cage: It seems that we have a problem because you see I was gonna give the winner a title shot but obviously this match has ended in a draw so what do we do?
Christian walked around in thought then got a smile on his face.
Christian Cage: I've got a great idea since there was no winner and since you two beat the hell out of each other, I think the peeps deserve to see both of you get a shot at the Breakout Championship which is why at Fanniversary it will be Christian Cage versus Samoa Joe versus Stone Cold Steve Austin in a Triple Threat match for the EBWF Breakout championship.
The crowd cheered as Take Over V2 played and Christian Cage left the ring.
Mauro Ranallo: We expected one of these men to face Christian Cage at Fanniversary but both of these men will get the shot.
Nigel McGuinness: I can't wait until Fanniversary Mauro.
Christian walked through the curtain as Warfare went to commercial break.
As Warfare returned from a commercial break, Alexa Bliss was on her way to the ring for the next match.
Mauro Ranallo: Welcome back! Up next, we've got women's action as Alexa Bliss goes one on one with Becky Lynch.
When Bliss was in the ring, "Celtic Invasion" hit and the crowd cheered as Becky Lynch headed to the ring. After Lynch had entered the ring, the referee called for the bell and the two women locked up. Lynch went for the Dis-arm-her early, but before she could lock it in Bliss got to the ropes. As the two women got to their feet, Bliss hit Lynch with a kick to the midsection, before sending her shoulder first into the ring post. Becky fell to the mat, then rolled to the outside, clutching her shoulder in pain.
Nigel McGuinness: This doesn't look good, Mauro... I think Becky is hurt!
Bliss followed Lynch to the outside and threw Lynch into the ring steps, then slammed the left arm of Lynch onto the floor. Bliss threw Lynch back into the ring, then tried to use Becky's own move, the Dis-arm-her, against her... but Becky fought out of it and hit Bliss with a sitout powerbomb! She hooked both legs and the referee counted – 1... 2... Bliss kicked out! Lynch pulled Bliss to her feet and whipped her into the corner, then used her uninjured right arm to hit a series of corner clotheslines, before following up with a leg lariat and finally the Flying Firearm. As Bliss staggered out of the corner, Lynch hit the Bexploder Suplex, then hooked the leg. The referee counted – 1... 2... Bliss kicked out!
Mauro Ranallo: What a turnaround by Becky Lynch, Nigel... even with one good arm, she's a force to be reckoned with!
Lynch got to her feet and stomped on Bliss several times, then climbed to the top rope. She went for a diving leg drop... but Bliss rolled out of the way! Bliss hit Lynch with a low dropkick, then followed up with Insult to Injury! She hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... Lynch kicked out! Bliss pulled Becky to her feet, and the two women exchanged punches back and forth. Becky was able to gain the upper hand, and she went for a clothesline... but Bliss ducked underneath it and rolled Lynch up! The referee counted – 1... 2... Lynch kicked out!
Nigel McGuinness: Alexa Bliss almost stole a victory there!
As both women got to their feet, Bliss hit Lynch with a snap DDT, then hooked the leg once more. The referee counted – 1... 2... again Becky kicked out! Alexa looked frustrated, and after hitting Lynch with an STO she climbed to the top rope. Alexa went for Twisted Bliss... but Becky got her knees up and blocked it! As Bliss clutched her ribs, Becky grabbed her by the arm, locking in the Dis-arm-her! Bliss was unable to get to the ropes and she tapped out.
Mauro Ranallo: It's over! Tremendous back and forth action, but in the end Becky Lynch gets the win!
The referee called for the bell, and raised Becky's arm in victory. As Becky celebrated, a medic tried to check on her injured shoulder, but Becky shoved him away and made her way to the back.
“Awesome!!!”
“I Came to Play” hit and the crowd cheered as the EBWF Gateway Champion came to the ring. “Kingdom” hit and Aiden English came from behind the curtain.
Mauro Ranallo: The former EBWF Wor- wait a minute!
Nigel McGuinness: Are you kidding me?
The announcers were reacting to the arrival of Chavo and Elias who were walking toward the ring with Aiden. Chavo and Elias stayed on the outside as Aiden got into the ring. The bell rang, and Aiden quickly clapped Miz’ ears and took him down with a spinning wheel kick. Miz quickly got out of the ring to recover. Aiden hit a somersault senton on Miz. Aiden got Miz in the ring and took him down for a two count. Miz lifted Aiden, but Aiden raked the eyes and sent him shoulder-first into the ring post. Miz held his head in pain.
Mauro Ranallo: Miz is trying to find a way back into this thing!
Miz kicked and punched Aiden in the corner before backing up and hitting a corner clothesline. Miz taunted Chavo and hit a diving axe handle on Aiden for a two count. Miz punched away at Aiden before choking him on the ropes. Miz then splashed him on the ropes. Miz taunted Chavo, so Chavo started shouting back. Aiden made a comeback on The Miz, hitting a clothesline and a diving back elbow in the corner. Miz stumbled out of the corner, turning to gather his bearings, right into the Director’s Cut. Aiden went for the pin.

Mauro Ranallo: Miz with his foot to the rope…no!
Elias had pushed away Miz’s heel before he could get it on the rope.

Nigel McGuinness: Aiden English has won this matchup and…
Before Nigel could continue the lights went out in the arena. The microphones in the arena picked up a scuffle. After a moment, the lights came back on. Elias and Chavo were laid out on the outside, and Aiden English was in a heap on the mat. Miz was now on his feet with a confused expression, and standing in the center of the ring with a microphone was Paul Heyman. Heyman pointed at Miz.
Paul Heyman: You and I have business to discuss.
Heyman dropped the mic and left the ring, leaving Miz looking even more confused as EBWF went to commercial.
Mauro Ranallo: Up next, it's time for our main event... we've got the EBWF World Champion, Randy Orton in action as he takes on Tommaso Ciampa!
"Psycho Killer" by Talking Heads hit and the crowd booed as Tommaso Ciampa made his way to the ring. When Ciampa was in the ring, "Counting Bodies Like Sheep" by A Perfect Circle hit and the crowd cheered as Randy Orton headed to the ring.
Nigel McGuinness: Randy Orton says he has bigger fish to fry than Tommaso Ciampa, with The Miz and "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt both gunning for his World Championship... but if Ciampa can pick up a win tonight, he would surely put himself in contention for a title shot!
After entering the ring, Orton looked across at Ciampa and smirked at his opponent, holding up the World Title to taunt him before passing it to one of the officials at ringside. As the referee called for the bell, Ciampa and Orton charged towards one another, then exchanged right hands back and forth. Orton was able to gain the upper hand and he whipped Ciampa against the ropes, before hitting a snap scoop powerslam. Orton got to his feet and stomped on Ciampa several times, then pulled him to his feet and hit a gut-wrench elevated neckbreaker. He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... Ciampa kicked out!
Mauro Ranallo: A strong start here by Randy Orton!
Orton pulled Ciampa to his feet and hit him with some more right hands, then dragged him towards the corner. Orton slammed Ciampa's head off the top turnbuckle, then sat Ciampa on the top rope, setting him up for a superplex... but Ciampa fought back with a series of punches, then hit Orton with a tornado DDT. He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... Orton kicked out! Ciampa pulled Orton to his feet and hit him with some more right hands, then went to whip him against the ropes... but Orton reversed the Irish whip, sending Ciampa against the ropes, before hitting a dropkick. As both men got to their feet, Orton went for a clothesline, but Ciampa ducked out of the way, before hitting a German suplex. Ciampa then set Orton up for Project Ciampa, but Orton countered with a back body drop!
Nigel McGuinness: The momentum is swinging back and forth in this match, Mauro!
Orton kept Ciampa grounded with the Garvin Stomps, then pulled him to his feet and hit a T-Bone Suplex. He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... Ciampa kicked out! Orton sat Ciampa up and applied a chinlock, but Ciampa fought out of it and as both men got to their feet, Ciampa grabbed Orton and hit a series of knee strikes. He then lifted Orton over his shoulder, hitting a back-to-belly piledriver before applying a cloverleaf! Orton was able to get to the ropes... but Ciampa refused to break the hold! The referee threatened to disqualify Ciampa and began counting – 1... 2... 3... 4... Ciampa broke the hold just before the count of 5!
Mauro Ranallo: Tommaso Ciampa taking full advantage of the five count there... and Orton looks like he's in a lot of pain.
As Orton lay at the edge of the ring clutching his back, Ciampa climbed onto the ring apron and grabbed Orton, setting him up for a package piledriver onto the Hardest Part of the Ring™. He lifted Orton up, but Orton broke free and dragged Ciampa through the ropes, then hit a Hangman DDT! Both men were down for several seconds, then as Orton got to his feet, Ciampa was crawling across the ring. Orton ran towards him, going for the Punt Kick... but Ciampa rolled out of the way and got to his feet. Ciampa hit Orton with a kick to the midsection and set him up for the Fairy Tale Ending, but Orton blocked it and countered with an inverted headlock backbreaker! Orton began pounding the mat, and as Ciampa got to his feet, Orton hit the RKO! He hooked the leg and the referee counted – 1... 2... 3!
Nigel McGuinness: What a match! Randy Orton reminding everyone why he is the EBWF World Champion.
Orton rolled out of the ring and grabbed the World Title from ringside, then slid back into the ring and climbed the turnbuckle, holding up the gold in celebration as Warfare went off the air.
