Library of Violence (Leva Bates RP)

Post by Ben M »

OOC: Just a short RP for Leva as it's late here and I've ran out of time after writing my Baker and Jericho RPs. Sorry! Hopefully it's still a good read. Good luck Billy!

At Christmas Eve of Destruction, Leva Bates had finally been given the rematch against Raquel Diaz that she had been waiting for since May. In May, at Warfare: Royal Pain – the first ever special edition of Warfare – Leva had lost to Raquel in a "Tres Etapas Locas" match. After defeating Raquel in the first stage via pinfall, Raquel had submitted Leva in the second stage, and retained the title by being the last woman standing in the third stage. Although she had been disappointed to lose, Leva had a lot of respect for Raquel... however, as she had learned on the December 6th edition of Warfare, that respect was not mutual. Raquel had accepted Leva's proposal of a "Library of Violence" match, but then hit her in the head with the Women's Championship. Clearly, in Raquel's eyes, Leva was just another challenger. At Christmas Eve of Destruction, Leva hoped to prove otherwise.

The scene opened with Leva standing in her library. However, Leva was not wearing the smart suit she usually wore in the library. Instead, she was dressed in "street clothes" – denim shorts, a light blue t-shirt that said "silence is golden", and a leather jacket. Leva looked up towards the camera and began to speak.

Leva Bates: Raquel Diaz... over the past few years, you have proved yourself to be a force to be reckoned with. In 2019, you entered the Royal Rumble at number one and outlasted everyone else, becoming the new Women's Champion. It was an impressive achievement, although your success was short-lived... two months later, you lost the title back to Zahra Schreiber. But in 2021, you've come back stronger. You won the Royal Rumble for a second time, and this time at Wrestlemania, you walked out the EBWF Women's Champion. I'm not going to waste any more breath talking about the alleged controversies, because you and I both know there was no controversy. You were the rightful winner, and your reign as Women's Champion since then has been an impressive one. We made history at Royal Pain, you issued an open challenge at Summerslam when Becky Lynch was unavailable due to being arrested, and when you finally had to face Becky at Fanniversary, you put in one hell of a performance to beat her... no pun intended. You are the face of this women's division, a role you are revelling in. But tonight is different. You're entering my world... my library of violence.

The lighting in the library suddenly changed, turning blood red.

Leva Bates: There's an old saying that the pen is mightier than the sword, and in most cases that is true. But sometimes, the only way to settle something is to fight. You might think all I've got in my library is books, but there are so many more weapons at my disposal. Tables, chairs, computers... those things might not sound like anything out of the ordinary, but trust me, in my hands they will be dangerous. And of course, I've got a few surprises in store too... it's the least I can do after you sucker punched me on Warfare the other week. I normally ask for quiet in the library, but tonight, in my library of violence... I want to hear you scream.

Leva laughed manically as the scene drew to a close.
