Not so Perfect.

Post by AustinAries »

Austin Aries now knows that he will be challenging Michael McGillicutty for the right to challenge the Breakout Champion, Evan Bourne. The match will be contested this Monday on Warfare, which will be Aries' first match at Warfare, and he obviously wants it on a winning note, but who wouldn't?

It's Monday Night, it's Warfare, the fireworks go off, the fans cheering, Jerry Lawler and Jim Ross are talking about tonight's matches and segments, Aries is backstage watching the show, and is approached by a backstage crew worker.

CREW DUDE: Hey Aries, are you ready for your match tonight? There is alot riding on this.

AUSTIN ARIES: Of course, I'm ready, why wouldn't I? Do you actually think that loser can beat me?

CREW DUDE: Just checking, because he is new talent, and new talent around here seems to do real good in their debut.

AUSTIN ARIES: Yeah, and today is my debut, so what's your point?

CREW DUDE: Whatever, I'm just saying, be careful out there tonight.

AUSTIN ARIES: Whatever, thanks I guess. Now can you please let me watch the show, I would like to enjoy it in silence.

CREW DUDE: *rolls eyes* See ya.

The dude walks away as Austin goes back to watching Warfare, as a match has started and he doesn't want to miss any of the action. He gets real comfortable, even though he has a feeling that someone is going to interrupt him again.

Yes, it happens about an hour later, Todd Grisham who had just got finished interviewing Austin's opponent, wants one with him now.

TODD GRISHAM: Aries can I get a quick word with you?

AUSTIN ARIES: No you may not. Actually my match is up next so if you excuse me, I'm going to get ready for my match, and maybe we could talk another time.

Aries pushes Todd, and heads out to the ring, Todd not sure of what happen, is a little confused, and a little annoyed at the same time, that Aries just rejected him like that.

TODD GRISHAM: Oookay.

"The Greatest Man that Ever Lived" by Weezer blasts out the speakers as some of the fans recongize that is Aries but still not getting much a reaction from the crowd, he doesn't really care as he walks down to the ring.

JERRY LAWLER: Look it's this guy, who was booked for a number one contendership match tonight against Michael McGullicutty!

JIM ROSS: Actually King, the match starts soon. So he is probably out here for the match.

JUSTIN ROBERTS: Coming to the ring, AUSTIN ARIESS!!

Aries comes into the ring and demands for a microphone, he then signals for his music to cut, and he paces around the ring before he speaks.

AUSTIN ARIES: You see people? I told you people that I would become champion, so all I have to do is beat some second-generation loser and I have my championship match. Which is all I want, which is all I need. Let me tell you why Michael McGullicutty can't beat me. This is a number ONE contendership match, but Michael McGullicutty is a SECOND generation star. Well not even a star more like a wannabe star. A wannabe star that will never get any success here in EBWF.

AUSTIN ARIES: You always want to bring up how, Mr. Perfect is your dad. Well let's face it, you will never be at your father's level, never have, and you sure as hell won't start now. You want to be so much like him, but your not even proud enough to use his last name. We know you really don't want to be like your dad, you probably are one of those kid who never really got to see your dad, your probably one of those kids who said "Hi daddy" but he just walked right past you like you were nothing.

JERRY LAWLER: I think Aries' is taking it too far.

AUSTIN ARIES: So to be honest, you really have no chance at beating me tonight and you know it. All you people know it too. You all know that McGullicutty will soon be known as the son of a legend who could never deliver. Always was in his shadow never stepped up, never won any championships just always wanted to be as good as his father. Look your father is gone now, and you still can't get out of his shadow, you know how lucky you ARE! Your father was a legend, you should of study your dads every move, you should have trained with your dad! Not everyone grows up with wrestling in their family. Nobody in my family EVEN wanted me to wrestle, but look where I am now, the best damn wrestler this WORLD has ever seen!

The crowd start to boo which interrupts Aries. It doesn't really seem as he cares. He just wants to make a point and maybe try and get in the head of McGullicutty. Which is smart to do since a championship title match is up for grabs.

AUSTIN ARIES: Poor little Mikey, is probably backstage crying and bitching about how he will never do anything irrelevant here or any federation he goes to. He is a failure, he should be called Mr. Failure! Because he is nowhere near perfect. Even his father wasn't all that perfect, if I had gotten in the ring with his father, I would destroy him! He wouldn't stand a chance with a great wrestler such as my self, and tonight I'm going to be making an example out of Mike, and all of his family, that their family just is not so PERFECT!

Aries drops the microphone as the crowd begins to boo. He goes to the corner and starts to warm up for his match, that is a must win for him, because even just a championship match would be big for him.

JIM ROSS: Austin Aries probably is making Michael McGullicutty so mad, and I would not want to be Aries when McGullicutty gets out here.

JERRY LAWLER: Aries took it just a step too far, and I think he is going to pay for it right now!

Now Austin just awaits Michael McGullicutty to see who has the right to face Evan Bourne, or whoever is the Breakout Champion is at the time. This match will be epic!

Hello hello!

Again I like the intro to this RP I must say. You use the link to Mr. Perfect well but maybe dwell on it a bit too much? I'd also be careful and read through your RP before you post it because there were some issues such as calling him a second generation star when he's a third generation wrestler and also something about "you'll never do anything irrelevant" when it should be "relevant". Just little things to do to improve on this but your in the same boat as me and just getting used to the character so I don't see it as a problem just now.

If you could have a read of mine and give some FB that would be class!

Best of luck mate!
