Maryse tears into Diva's Division

Maryse was on a local Alabama radio station this afternoon to promote tonight's Warfare event. She completely let loose when asked about the company and her fellow Diva's specifically. She was quoted as saying:

"I can see why women here aren't really given bigger opportunities. Because 85% percent of them are horrible. They show up and, like, within one week to a month they're dating one of the guy wrestlers. They get unmotivated and lazy and don't care. I wouldn't want to waste TV time on them either. They don't do anything that would make you want to buy a ticket other than look pretty. They don't cut promo's you would remember. It sucks. There is no Trish Stratus or Lita around anymore. You don't get those characters with huge personalities that could be involved in big angles. I mean, a year or two ago Taylor Wilde won a Slammy for entertainer of the year. Women can do more but not with this group. I'm trying, you know? I'm not the best wrestler in the world but I can do enough and I know absolutely sure I have a character."

On A.J. Lee and Kaitlyn: "I exclude these two from the list. A.J. is actually a very good wrestler and Kaitlyn isn't bad. And they have characters the fans react and connect to. I know A.J. is real chummy with Trent Barreta but it doesn't effect her job and I can know she actually wants to be here. Those two, myself and Paige are really trying to make something work that people can be interested in."

The switch from Daffney to Paige: "Daffney's been wrestling for a long time and I think injuries were catching up with her. I believe she's going to be working backstage with the Diva's. Jesus Christ, she isn't a miracle worker. I know she's helped Paige craft her whole goth-character thing. They pretty much just body swapped them. Paige is very young but she's already a better worker than most of the chicks here and, gasp, she's actually hungry!"

Layla: "She can be very entertaining but she looks like she's stopped caring. I haven't been impressed with her lately. Her performance at that six woman match at the pay per view sucked. Flat out."

Natalya: "I don't know the issue with her. We're told she's hurt. I wish she would come back because she's entertaining AND she can carry anyone to a good match."

Aksana, Maria, Kelly Kelly, Brooke Tessmacher: "They don't care. And I don't care if they have a problem with me saying that. They just want to look cute and post drivel on their twitters."

Ashley Massaro: "Honestly, she isn't as bad as I thought she be. She's OK. But, again, already dating a wrestler. She already has a title like two weeks in. So someone must see something in her. Ask me in a month."

Her future: "Paige and I are trying to do whatever we can to get noticed. Ridiculous, outlandish promo's, popping up in guy battle royal's, this new storyline with Paul Heyman. Hopefully we keep working with The Chick Busters."
