The camera opened up on dark room in the backstage area of the Chase Center. The camera focus sharpened up on Bray Wyatt, who idly rocked back and forth in a black rocking chair with Paul Heyman standing behind him with a confident smirk.

Bray Wyatt: Tonight should be a night of celebration, man. The Last Survivor match, an opportunity to become EBWF World Champion, the promise of a shot at greatness!

Bray cackled uncontrollably.

Bray Wyatt: It's always the most exciting part of the year, man! 30 men enter, one man leaves with a guaranteed shot at the champion. Hell, most people say this is their favorite event outside of Fanniversary. So why... is there a black cloud hanging over me?

He rocked back and forth agitatedly.

Bray Wyatt: Why don't you tell them, my advocate?

Paul smiled wryly.

Paul Heyman: Ladies and Gentlemen, what we have here is a failure to communicate. And that is something I put on myself. My client, the former EBWF World Champion, Bray Wyatt, should be sitting before you, excited and ready for his appearance in the Last Survivor match. He should be confident, because it's clear that Bray Wyatt is the best professional wrester, the best fighter, and the smartest, most devious man in the match. But tonight, my client finds himself vexed. And why do you ask? Because my client is STILL anchored down by incessant questions of his whereabouts on the night the Rated R Superstar was abducted in the ring. My client does nothing but show up every week, do what is asked of him, and entertain the EBWF Universe in only the way he knows how. And yet, despite no indisputable evidence surfacing that ties my client to Edge's tragic predicament, the rumors persist. There's a half-cocked, tattooed crazy man conducting his own attempt at a vigilante manhunt, putting my client at risk.

Bray nodded to himself as he rocked back and forth.

Bray Wyatt: And I certainly understand why Randy's got his eye on me. I mean, look at some of the things I've done in the past, man! But I'm a changed man. I'm trying to bury the monster deep, deep down within myself so that people don't need to be afraid around me. Well, that is, unless they're in the ring with me.

He smirked to himself.

Bray Wyatt: The only thing that I can do at this point is continue the way I've been going. Keep soaking up the crowd's cheers, keep putting on the best matches that I can, and keep focusing on putting the past behind me. Randy Orton can continue sniffing around as much as he wants, but I know that the truth will ultimately come out and we will discover what happened to Edge. And in the meantime, I must focus on my own goals! Tonight I can eliminate 29 other men and win the Last Survivor match, guaranteeing me a shot at a second reign as EBWF World Champion. This is the kind of stuff I live for, man. It's the rush I crave now. Not violence, not blood. No no no, I get my rush from being the best. And tonight, I'm going to prove it.

Paul Heyman: And not only that, I can assure you that I am in the process of confirming my client's innocence. I am forming my own investigation into the events that unfolded when Edge disappeared and reappeared in Randy Orton's locker room. We will determine the timeline and the truth of how he was abducted, and punish those responsible.

Paul smiled.

Paul Heyman: And that's not a prediction, my friends. That's...

Heyman leaned in towards the camera.

Paul Heyman: ...is a spoiler.

Wyatt smiled and rocked back and forth while the camera faded to black.
