As pyro went off across the arena, the booming voice of Mauro Ranallo welcomed EBWF fans from around the world to Warfare.
Mauro Ranallo: We’re here! Charlottesville, Virginia is here! Get ready folks…it’s time for Warfare!
Nigel McGuinness: On the heels of an incredible Fallout show, we are back on Monday nights and ready to gear up for Total Supremacy!
Mauro Ranallo: We’ll hear from Roman Reigns here tonight just one week after a career defining match with our retaining champion, The Miz.
Nigel McGuinness: Can’t wait to hear what he has to say, but now we jump straight into the action!
The crowd gave a mixed reaction as Christopher Daniel's music hit and the veteran wrestler made his way down to the ring.
Mauro Ranallo: Christopher Daniels is highly respected in our industry, and it will be very interesting to see what he can do against Seth Rollins here tonight.
"Burn It Down!"
The crowd reacted strongly to Rollin's music as the eccentric character made his way toward Daniel's. Christy Hemme gave the announcements and the two men appeared ready to go.
Mauro Ranallo: An explosive match to kick off Warfare!
As the bell rang, Rollins and Daniels circled each other, sizing each other up.
Nigel McGuinness: Seth Rollins is known for his high-flying and technical wrestling! Daniels is a veteran grappler. Both have years of experience in the ring. It will be interesting to see where this one leads!
They locked up in the center of the ring, and Rollins took control with a quick arm drag takedown. Daniels got back up and went for a shoulder tackle, but Rollins countered with a dropkick, sending Daniels tumbling to the mat.
Mauro Ranallo: A beautiful dropkick from Seth Rollins!
Daniels got up and shook off the cobwebs, charging at Rollins with a clothesline, but Rollins ducked and hit a sling blade.
Nigel McGuinness: Seth Rollins bringing the quickness!
The two men continued to trade blows, with Rollins getting the upper hand with a series of kicks and strikes. Daniels fought back with a spinebuster and went for a pin, but Rollins kicked out at two. As the match wore on, both men became visibly fatigued, but they continued to battle it out with everything they had. Rollins hit a diving crossbody off the top rope, but Daniels caught him and locked in a submission hold. Rollins struggled to break free, but he eventually managed to power out and hit Daniels with a superkick.
Mauro Ranallo: Rollins with the pin!

Nigel McGuinness: No! It's no good!
Daniels was down, and Rollins frustration was showing as he climbed to the top rope and hit his the Phoenix Splash. Rollins went for the pin again.

2...
Th-No!
Mauro Ranallo: Seth Rollins can't believe it. Daniels kicked out at the last second!
Rollins goes for another high-risk move, but Daniels caught him and hit the Angel's Wings.
Mauro Ranallo: Daniels hooks the leg!
1...
2...
Nigel McGuinness: Another near fall! This crowd can't believe it! Where did Seth find the strength?
Daniels pulled Rollins up, but was met with a thunderous DDT. Rollins backed up, and the crowd began to cheer as he backed up into the corner. Daniels pulled himself on all fours and Rollins charged forward with a vicious Curb Stomp!
Mauro Ranallo: Rollins with authority!
Nigel McGuinness: And the cover!
1...
2...
3!
Seth Rollins left Daniels lying as he stood up and threw both arms in the air.
After the match, the feed on the tron was once again lost to static and the EBWF crowd had gotten used to these happenings. Still, the fact that the novelty had worn out from these vignettes did not stop them from happening at all. The voice cut in once again.
???: The last bits of threads are coming undone. Soon, the whole world will see that the emperor has no clothes. Or, queen, should I say? The last chapter is about to be written. And after that, EBWF shall see just how big of an impact I plan to bring to its table. Dress tight, everyone, the winds of change are coming. The strong and the beautiful shall live on, but the weak and the ugly will be scattered away with my winds.
Static again and then the screen closed. Back to normal as always.
Mauro Ranallo: I’d love to know who is behind those strange vignettes, Nigel.
Nigel McGuinness: Me too, Mauro, but I don’t think we’ll know anything until he or she is ready to reveal themselves!
Mauro Ranallo: Up next, we’ve got the “Dangerous Princess” Himeka Arita in action as she goes one on one with Jamie Hayter!
Jamie Hayter made her way to the ring first, and once she was in the ring, “Nova Princess” hit. The crowd gave a mixed reaction as Himeka Arita made her way to the ring. It was notable that Himeka was not accompanied by Utami Hayashishita. After Himeka had entered the ring, the referee called for the bell. Hayter and Himeka exchanged right hands back and forth, and after gaining the upper hand, Himeka took Hayter down with a clothesline. As Hayter got to her feet, Himeka went for a powerbomb, but Hayter countered with a back body drop, then took Himeka down with a knee strike. She hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1… 2… Himeka kicked out! As both women got to their feet, Hayter hit Himeka with a series of kicks, then went for a lariat… but Himeka ducked underneath it, then hit Hayter in the knees from behind, knocking her down. Himeka went to the top rope, and when Hayter was back on her feet, Himeka hit her with a diving double knee strike!
Nigel McGuinness: Impressive aerial skill there by Himeka Arita!
Himeka hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1… 2… Hayter kicked out! Himeka pulled Hayter to her feet and whipped Hayter into the corner, before hitting a corner clothesline. As Hayter stumbled out of the corner, Himeka lifted her up, hitting a delayed vertical suplex. She hooked the leg once more - 1… 2… again Hayter kicked out! Himeka went back to the top rope, and this time she went to hit Hayter with a diving crossbody… but Hayter caught her, and countered with a fallaway slam!
Mauro Ranallo: Great counter by Jamie Hayter, and the momentum might have just swung in her favor!
As Himeka got to her feet, Hayter hit her with a series of punches to the back, then lifted her up, hitting a Blue Thunder Bomb! She hooked both legs and the referee counted - 1… 2… Himeka kicked out! Hayter pulled Himeka to her feet and whipped her into the corner, then ran at her, going for a corner forearm smash… but Himeka got her knees up and blocked it, then as Hayter staggered backwards, Himeka went back to the top rope. This time, she hit Hayter with a diving clothesline! Hayter looked dazed as she got to her feet, and Himeka got behind her, hitting a bridging German suplex! Both of Hayter’s shoulders were down, and the referee counted - 1… 2… Hayter got a shoulder up! Himeka pulled Hayter to her feet and hit her with a series of punches, then whipped her against the ropes. As Hayter ran back towards her, Himeka went for a big boot, but Hayter ducked underneath it, then grabbed Himeka and hit the Ushigoroshi! She hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1… 2… Himeka kicked out! Hayter began yelling at the referee, telling him to count faster.
Nigel McGuinness: Hayter letting her frustrations getting the better of her there…
Hayter stomped on Himeka several times, then pulled her to her feet. She set Himeka up for Hayterade… but Himeka ducked underneath it, then hit Hayter with a back drop! As Hayter got to her feet, Himeka grabbed her and dragged her towards the corner, slamming Hayter’s head off the top turnbuckle. Himeka then set Hayter up on the second rope with her back facing towards the ring, before grabbing Hayter by the legs and putting her on her shoulders, hitting a running powerbomb!
Mauro Ranallo: JP Coaster! This could be it here, Nigel!
Himeka hooked both legs and the referee counted - 1… 2… 3!
Mere moments after Himeka's music played, a chorus of boos rang out. The camera switched to a view of the entrance ramp and we saw Utami Hayashishita storming down to the ring. There was a potent mix of anger and disgust on her face, though there was something else. A bit of a panicked, wild-eyed look we hadn't seen from the Crimson Queen before.
Mauro Ranallo: What is this about? After that incredibly physical match, why is Utami coming out? And why wasn't she in Himeka Arita's corner during the match?'
Nigel McGuiness: Well, Utami is an intensely proud and competitive athlete. Ever since her loss at Fallout, she seems unable to really process her failure to take the crown. But in the past few days she's been positively erratic.
Utami swiped a mic from ringside and climbed up into the ring as if she were being chased. We could see her wearing shorts, an EBWF t-shirt and tennis shoes, and her hair was unkempt and distraught. All in all, the Crimson Queen looked anything but elegant as she made her way to the center of the ring. For a moment she glances over at Himeka, who leaned back against the turnbuckles. Without a word to her associate, Utami raised her mic.
Utami: What is happening in EBWF is a complete disgrace. These cryptic messages which keep playing on EBWF television are nothing less than a threat. Someone is hiding behind the curtain, pulling the strings to have them aired, and I demand to know how! How has this continued to happen? Why have the Ikedas done nothing about these verbal assaults?
As the fans booed her, Utami looked to her right and to her left as if expecting someone to pop up behind her. When nothing happened, she glared down the camera again.
Utami: Make no mistake, I know the identity of the culprit who is behind these videos. This is not the first time she has contacted me to communicate these kinds of messages. Merely the most public. So, to her I say, with no - hesitation. No hesitation at all. You are wrong, and I will prove it to the world.
While the panic lingered in her eyes, Utami managed a smirk as she pointed to the entrance ramp.
Utami: How, you ask? Why by demonstrating my dominance once again, you stupid peasants. I will once again inflict complete defeat on one of your beloved fools. I have not put a finger on her for months and she has still managed to get herself injured. How funny! It is just like I told her; she is seeking her own destruction. And as a generous queen, I will help her achieve it. Defeating her will prove to the world and to this woman in the shadows that I am still the True Queen of professional wrestling. Alexa Bliss, I demand that you face me in this ring next week! There will be hell to pay if you do not.
Boos rang out again but now mixed with a quiet tension as the fans waited to see if the challenge would be answered.
Mauro Ranallo: Oh, come on! Alexa's in no condition to fight any match after that hellacious hardcore tag match at Fallout. Especially not against an angry Utami Hayashishita.
Nigel McGuiness: For some reason she feels the need to punish Alexa Bliss for what's been happening of late. Alexa is such a proud competitor that I doubt she'll leave this challenge unanswered.
A new theme song played over the PA system, “Immortal” by Adema, and Alexa Bliss came out to a loud ovation from the crowd. Alexa was dressed in street clothes which included black pants, white sneakers, and a crop top t-shirt. The most noticeable thing about her appearance was a bandage on her forehead along with one on her stomach and back.
Mauro Ranallo: Alexa went through a war at Fallout when she and Becky Lynch faced Charlotte Flair and Zahra Schreiber in a winning effort.
Alexa entered the ring and grabbed a microphone. Alexa's music cut as she looked at Utami with a smile on her face. Utami for her part glared at Alexa, looking as if she’d like to attack right there and then. Instead, she spoke.
Utami: Oh good, the broken goddess has graced us with her presence after all. Good. I want you to look at this face and remember it well. It is the last thing you will see before I send you home again.
Alexa didn’t back down, though, and stepped right up to Utami.
Alexa: You know it’s funny, because I’m looking at that face right now but all I see is the face of a loser. Remind me what you were doing at Fallout, Utami. What did you do after Becky and I went through ten levels of hell to beat Charlotte Flair and Zahra Schreiber? Huh?
Utami just glared down at Alexa as the Goddess playfully looked out to the crowd. After a long moment she smirked as she jabbed a finger into Utami’s chest.
Alexa: After all your big talk, you were the first one pinned in the title match. Everyone saw it, you can’t deny it. Utami Hayashishita is a loser! And now you want to fight teeny tiny me again?
Utami swatted Alexa’s hand away and tensed her muscles, perhaps moments away from lashing out at her intended target. Alexa laughed in response, refusing to back off.
Alexa: You think I’m easy pickings because I got banged up at Fallout? Yeah, I’m not 100 percent just look at me! My head was split open and I look like I've had a c-section but even 10 percent of me right now is enough to beat you. You want me? You’re on. I’m looking forward to paying you back for trying to end my career. Next week I’m going to kick your ass in front of the whole world.
The crowd gave a huge pop at Alexa’s promise, and the Goddess stepped away with her mic lowered. With all the history between herself and the Crimson Queen, she clearly expected an attack any moment. But Utami just stood there looking satisfied with herself. She started to move for the ropes herself, but then stopped as an idea came to her. Slowly she turned around and gazed over at Alexa; a smug grin played across her lips as she raised the mic again.
Utami: I cannot leave without complimenting your skill in getting hurt. That is the only thing that has improved about you since I last destroyed you in this ring. Your power to get injured is so strong that you got your little friend Liv hurt too! Congratulations! I am sure she blames you for every moment of pain she is currently experiencing! You really are the worst friend she could have.
Alexa stopped dead in her tracks and stormed toward Utami full speed. Utami escaped, however, rolling under the bottom rope and laughing on the outside of the ring. She was joined by Himeka, whose face shifted from mild annoyance to its usual stoic distance. As they circled the ring to get to the ramp, Himeka kept herself between Utami and the furious Alexa. Just before they exited, Utami held her mic up for one parting shot.
Utami: Next week I will shatter the former goddess. Next week, I prove the woman in the shadows wrong. I will prove I am the true queen of this ring!
As she and Himeka retreated to the locker room, “Immortal” hit and Alexa played to the crowd. While the fans cheered, the scene faded as we went to a commercial break.
When Warfare returned from the commercial break, “The Truth Reigns" sounded off over the PA system. The crowd booed loudly as Roman Reigns walked out onto the stage.
Mauro Ranallo: One has to wonder what's going through the mind of Roman Reigns right now Nigel, after he failed to defeat The Miz at Fallout for the EBWF World Heavyweight Championship.
Nigel McGuinness: Yeah, I can already see the look of disdain on the face of Roman Reigns. He's dejected right now Mauro, I can't wait to hear what he's got to say.
Roman Reigns walked down the aisle and climbed inside the ring, he wasted no time and grabbed a microphone before he stood center stage, with his full undivided attention pointed towards the hard camera.
Roman Reigns: So as you can see, Fallout didn't go as planned for Roman Reigns. And look, I'm not out here making excuses. I lost! It's that simple man. The Miz was the better man at Fallout, he's a man that deserves praise from the EBWF locker room, for being the great LEADER and CHAMPION this company needs carrying the banner. I'm not going to lie man, I took him lightly and I walked into that ring at Fallout, thinking I had already won the match before it even happened. But, I was wrong and I got no one to BLAME... BUT ME! I'm not ashamed to admit Mike, that I dropped the ball and I wasn't ready.
The crowd booed as Roman Reigns stood there just looking around for a moment before he brushed it off and continued.
Roman Reigns: You know Miz, I never thought I'd say this but you're right. I was so stuck on thinking it should have been Roman Reigns versus Xavier Woods. I was so stuck on thinking that I should have already been the EBWF World Heavyweight Champion. But what I did was I allowed myself to get complacent, and I failed miserably (nodding his head) I let The Miz get inside my head. One of the main reasons for that Mike, was I didn't see you as a CHALLENGE! I was too worried about bragging on what I had accomplished, and bragging about who I had defeated before heading into the biggest match of my EBWF career. You see this, this match should have been a priority for me, because for the last year y'all know it's true yourselves, this is all I ever talked about was to get my shot at the EBWF World Heavyweight Championship.
Roman Reigns walked around the ring shaking his head as he still tried to brush off losing to The Miz at Fallout for the World Championship.
Roman Reigns: And then I got my shot but what did I do? I went on and on just like The Miz said himself, about how I smashed Riddle and how I smashed everybody in the Last Survivor Match... or how I constantly told everyone how good I was but what really got me Miz, was when you talked about being destined to face me after winning the title from Xavier Woods... you said, you just knew that you were destined to face me, you was excited, but also nervous since, I was the Head of the Table... it was at that moment Miz, that I thought I had this in the bag and there was no chance I could lose to The Miz, then reality struck and trust me it hit hard to sit there on the mat after that match, because that's when it really set in that I DIDN'T win the EBWF World Heavyweight Championship!
Roman Reigns was most definitely still bothered by that and it showed through his facial expression.
Roman Reigns: I should be standing here with the EBWF World Heavyweight Championship wrapped around my waist but I'm not. I mean, there should be confetti falling from the rafters and I should be demanding... for Charlottesville, Virginia to ACKNOWLEDGE ME! I should be BRAGGING about how I'm the Head of the Table, I should be BRAGGING about how I'm the Greatest of All Time... but I can't do that tonight because The Miz, The Miz proved at Fallout why he is the EBWF World Heavyweight Champion... does that make him better than me? I mean, some could argue that after he beat me at Fallout.
Roman Reigns paused once again shaking his head as he just couldn't get rid of that thought, that he lost to The Miz in the biggest match of his EBWF career.
Roman Reigns: Do I believe The Miz is better than Roman Reigns? No. He beat me at Fallout, he's still the EBWF World Heavyweight Champion, the seventh EBWF World Heavyweight Championship reign continues... The Miz, Matt Riddle and Michael Cole can celebrate, he earned the right to do that but here's the thing Miz... I'm not finished, and I'm not going to waste anymore time man... y'all all want to see it, so I'm challenging The Miz to a rematch for the EBWF World Heavyweight Championship at Total Supremacy!
Mauro Ranallo: WOW! Roman Reigns just challenged The Miz to a rematch at Total Supremacy.
Nigel McGuinness: Listen to this place Mauro, they are loving the idea of another match between Roman Reigns and The Miz at Total Supremacy.
The crowd popped in anticipation of possibly getting to watch another match between The Miz and Roman Reigns for the EBWF World Heavyweight Championship at Total Supremacy.
Roman Reigns: So before you come out here and answer the call Miz, let me finish with this man because I remember, the last time you allowed me to pick the stipulation of our match and I chose just a regular match. Well the reason for that Miz is because I would rather BUILD to a much bigger match, and so if I'm going to do this right then it's only fitting that I do the same... if The Miz is man enough to accept my challenge tonight for a rematch, I am going to allow The Miz to choose the stipulation for our match at Total Supremacy...
There was a beat, barely, as it didn't take long for the crowd to hear what they were waiting for.
AWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESOOOOOOOMMMMEEEEE
I CAME TO PLAY
The crowd erupted as Michael Cole and Matt Riddle made their way from the back in matching Bro Awesome T-Shirts. Riddle's snapback hat was on backwards, Cole's, as usual, was on sideways. They both in unison cocked their head towards the curtain and after a couple of beats, the crowd erupted even louder as the EBWF Champion, The Miz, emerged. Miz was in black pants and his newly released "I'm The Miz- and You're a Freaking Nobody" t-shirt. He had sunglasses over his eyes and the EBWF Championship over his right shoulder. All 3 members of Bro Awesome had microphones in their hands. Riddle was wearing a backpack which seemed odd, but then again it was Matt Riddle, so everything seems a little odd. The Miz spoke first.
The Miz: Really?
Crowd: REALLY?
The Miz: REALLY?!
Crowd: REALLY!?
The crowd erupted as Miz smiled, Reigns was getting angry inside the ring yelling inaudible trash talk and pointing up the ramp.
The Miz: You lost the match.. because you underestimated me? There should be confetti falling down around you? You lost because I wasn't a priority to you? NO Roman.. you lost because even though you think you're this elite superstar.. you're really nothing but a regular old Average "Joe"
Matt Riddle: Dodgeball bro.
Michael Cole: Vince Vaughn Bro.
Michael Cole popped a bubble on the gum he was chewing. The Miz smirked knowingly at Roman who picked up on him using his real first name.
The Miz: Yeah you see I can use your real name too.. to make things seem a little more personal. Great tactic, it's just a good thing you haven't beaten it half to death like I've done to you every SINGLE time we've been in the ring with each other. I thought.. maybe.. just maybe this time you'd be like "Okay- enough is enough- I simply just can't beat this guy." But boy did I underestimate just how stupid you really are. Here you go, not two days later, and you're back out here STILL acting like you're not where you should be.. you're out here STILL acting like things in the universe are out of whack because you're not holding this title.. Roman- you're NEVER going to hold this title. Like ever.
Michael Cole: Taylor Swift bro.
The Miz smiled.
The Miz: The quicker you realize that, the quicker you and the rest of my Mizfits can all move on with our lives and be better off for it.
The crowd cheered and a 'Miz is Awesome' chant broke out from the crowd. After a couple of beats it died down. Roman looked less than pleased in the ring.
The Miz: However, I'm no quitter- I set out to beat reality into your wet hair covered head, and that is exactly what I'm still determined to do.. so you know what Roman? I'm in. I accept.
The crowd cheered loudly once more, the words brought a smile to Reigns face.
The Miz: Don't look so excited though Roman- you see it was not only a mistake to challenge me.. and let me be crystal clear.. it WAS a mistake to challenge me again, because even though you think the last time I spoke about you, I mentioned that I was genuinely scared to face you.. I was using something called sarcasm.. now Roman.. do you know what sarcasm is?
Roman went to answer but the Miz cut him off.
The Miz: I didn't think so. Riddle.. the dictionary for our friend Roman here. I'm going to read you Webster's definition.
Riddle went into his backpack and pulled out a dictionary. He flipped through it and held it up for Miz to read. Unfortunately it was backwards.
The Miz: It's backwards.
Riddle his his forehead with the palm of his free hand- he then proceeded to flip the dictionary completely around.
The Miz: It's still backwards.
Cole stepped in and flipped it right side up.
Riddle: Thanks bro.
Michael Cole: Gotcha bro.
Another bubble from Cole.
The Miz: Sarcasm- noun- the USE of Irony to MOCK or convey contempt. I know that's still a little complex for you isn't it there big guy? So let me help even more. It means I was FREAKING JOKING AT YOUR EXPENSE. The fact that you couldn't pick up on that is honestly one of the funniest things that I've experienced in all my time on this planet let alone this business. You see I'm not scared of you- not even a teeny tiny bit. So as I was saying it was a mistake to challenge me, and it was an even BIGGER mistake to let me choose the stipulation. You see the second you said that- even before our music hit- Riddle, Michael, and myself we did a super fast brainstorm and we came up with a lot of possible choices. COLE the list!
Michael went into Riddle's backpack. While he was doing that Riddle was startled as if he had no clue what was going on. He cocked his head in fear and softened when he saw it was Cole.
Riddle: Oh it's just you Cole, thank god bro.
The Miz had to smile at that. Cole emerged from the backpack with a rather long list. The Miz read it over quietly nodding his head and pointing at certain words on the page, before speaking again.
The Miz: Okay- after careful deliberation... I choose..... drum roll please.
Riddle and Cole obliged as did the capacity crowd.
The Miz: REGULAR. MATCH.
There was a muffled quiet pop.
The Miz: Relax I'm obviously joking- I would have to be the lamest most boring man on ear... oh right...
The crowd laughed and popped once more. The Miz held his hand up to quiet them one more time before he brought it home.
The Miz: In all seriousness Roman- I'm ready to achieve this goal of keeping you down for good. I'm ready to beat you to a point that you can't even get up to start spouting nonsense again. I'm ready to knock you down and shut you up- so that I can go on to more entertaining opponents and more interesting things in my life. So Roman- I DO accept- but it's not going to be a regular match. At Total Supremacy- it'll be The Miz vs. Roman Reigns- LAST. MAN. STANDING.
Riddle and Cole reacted with excitement- the crowd erupted. Miz had a smirk on his face and Reigns nodded confidently as well.
The Miz: I just want you to remember though Roman- that this time around- I did NOT start this.. but I can PROMISE you- I WILL FINISH IT.
BECAUSE I'MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM THE MIZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
AND I"MMMMMMMMMMMMMM
Crowd: AWESOME!
The Miz: AWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEESSSOMMMEEEEEEEEE!
Bro Awesome flipped their mics to the ground in unison and exited back out through the curtain. Reigns nodded in the ring seemingly pleased with the result of Miz' choice as Warfare went to the final commercial break of the evening.
Mauro Ranallo: Up next, it’s time for our main event… Adam Cole goes one on one with the Breakout Champion, Brock Anderson!
Brock Anderson made his way to the ring first, then out came Adam Cole. When both men were in the ring, the referee called for the bell and the two men locked up. Cole applied an arm twist, but Anderson fought back, hitting a headlock takedown. As Cole hit the mat, Anderson kept the headlock locked in, but Cole countered it, pinning Anderson’s shoulders to the mat! The referee counted - 1… 2… Anderson kicked out! Both men got to their feet and Anderson hit Cole with a series of backhand chops, followed by an uppercut. Anderson then went to whip Cole against the ropes, but Cole reversed it, whipping Anderson into the ropes before hitting a superkick!
Nigel McGuinness: Such force behind that superkick!
Cole hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1… 2… Anderson kicked out! Cole got to his feet and stomped on Anderson several times, then crouched over Anderson and hit him with a series of punches. Cole pulled Anderson to his feet and set him up for a neckbreaker, but before he could hit it Anderson broke free, then hit Cole with several right hands in quick succession. Anderson followed up with a double leg clothesline, then went for a sharpshooter… but Cole rolled Anderson up into a small package! The referee counted - 1… 2… Anderson kicked out!
Mauro Ranallo: Adam Cole is really taking the fight to Brock Anderson, here… this might be the toughest challenge Anderson has faced since signing for EBWF!
As both men got to their feet, Cole whipped Anderson into the corner, then hit him with a series of punches and kicks. Anderson fought back though, grabbing Cole and slamming his head off the top turnbuckle several times, before sitting him on the top rope and hitting a superplex! He hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1… 2… Cole kicked out! Anderson pulled Cole to his feet and hit him with a forearm smash, then whipped him against the ropes. As Cole ran back towards him, Anderson hit a big boot, then as Cole got to his feet, Anderson hit him with a German suplex! As Cole tried to sit up, Anderson grabbed him, hitting hammer and anvil strikes. Anderson then pulled Cole to his feet and hit a piledriver!
Nigel McGuinness: Did you hear that thud as Cole’s head hit the mat, Mauro? He might be hurt!
Anderson hooked the leg once more, and the referee counted - 1… 2… Cole kicked out! Anderson spread out Cole’s arms and legs, stomping on them one by one. He then grabbed Cole by the legs, putting him in a figure four leglock! Cole was able to get to the ropes, and the referee ordered Anderson to break the hold. Anderson did so, but he looked frustrated as the referee ordered him to take a step back, giving Cole a chance to recover. Cole used the ropes to pull himself up, and when he was on his feet, Anderson went for a clothesline… but Cole ducked out of the way and pulled down on the ropes, sending Anderson to the outside! Cole then ran against the ropes, before hitting Anderson with a…
Mauro Ranallo: Tope Suicida!
Cole whipped Anderson back into the ring, then climbed to the top rope. Cole went for Panama Sunrise… but Anderson caught Cole in midair and countered it into a Spinebuster! He hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1… 2… Cole kicked out just before the 3!
Nigel McGuinness: I don’t believe it, Mauro! I thought for sure Brock Anderson was going to get the three count there!
Anderson couldn’t believe it either, and as he got to his feet he stomped on Cole several times, then pulled Cole to his feet. He set Cole up for a DDT, but Cole blocked it, shoving Anderson backwards into the corner then hitting him with a series of kicks. Cole sat Anderson on the top rope, setting him up for a Frankensteiner, but before he could hit it, Anderson kicked Cole away. As Cole stumbled backwards, Anderson went for a diving double axe handle… but Cole countered with a superkick! As Anderson hit the mat, Cole pulled down his knee pad, then as Anderson sat up, Cole ran against the ropes, before hitting The Boom! He hooked the leg and the referee counted - 1… 2… 3!
Mauro Ranallo: It’s over! An impressive victory for Adam Cole over the Breakout Champion!
Nigel McGuinness: You can tell he had to work for it, Mauro… he looks completely out of breath!
The fans at ringside applauded Adam Cole as he celebrated his victory. Just as Cole was about to exit the ring, Brock Anderson got to his feet and caught Cole’s eye. As Cole looked back at Anderson, the Breakout Champion offered his hand. Cole hesitated for a moment, then to the delight of the fans, he shook Anderson’s hand!
Mauro Ranallo: What a great display of sportsmansh… hey wait a minute!
As Anderson shook hands with Cole, he smiled… then pulled Cole towards him, and took him down with a clothesline! The crowd watched on in stunned silence as Anderson pummeled Cole against the ring mat. The referee tried to pull Anderson off Cole, but Anderson shoved him away, then exited the ring, grabbing his Breakout Championship. Anderson waited for Cole to get up, then as Cole did so, Anderson hit him full force in the face with the title! The force of the blow was enough to bust Cole open, and the fans booed as blood trickled down Cole’s forehead.
Nigel McGuinness: Brock Anderson has completely lost it here… I’ve never seen him like this before!
A medic tried to enter the ring to check on Adam Cole, but Anderson pushed past them, then dragged Cole to his feet and threw him out of the ring. Anderson then followed Cole to the outside, and began pulling up one of the mats at ringside.
Mauro Ranallo: Oh no, what is Anderson planning?
Anderson then grabbed Cole and hit him with a DDT onto the exposed floor! As Cole lay motionless on the floor, Anderson walked up the ramp, ignoring the boos of the crowd as he headed to the back. The medic checked on a bloody, unconscious Adam Cole as Warfare went off the air.
