The scene opened backstage in front of an interview set up as Renee Young was standing by with Johnny Gargano and Joseph Park.


Renee Young:Johnny tonight kicks off the King of the Ring tournament and you go one on one with a former World Champion Randy Orton in a match that certainly won't be easy,thoughts?


Johnny reached into his entrance jacket and pulled out a piece of paper.


Johnny Gargano:Well Renee before I give my thoughts I'm gonna let my buddy Joseph read the list of things everyone says about Randy Orton.


Gargano handed the paper to Park who looked nervous to read it.


Johnny Gargano:Go ahead.


Joseph unfolded the paper reluctantly and started to read.


Joseph Park:Randy Orton is an old man who's past his prime.


Johnny Gargano:Ohh.


Joseph Park:Randy Orton is a lazy wrestler who sleepwalking through his matches.


Gargano tugged on the coller of his jacket.


Joseph Park:Randy Orton is only where he is today because he's married to Wes Ikeda's sister.


Gargano cringed at that line and patted Joseph on the back.


Johnny Gargano:Thank you for reading that Joseph.


Joseph nervously nodded his head and Johnny turned his attention back to Renee Young.


Johnny Gargano:See Renee that is all the things people around here say about Randy Orton when they have to go against him and I'm not gonna do that because honestly that would be beating a dead horse and really Randy doesn't deserve any of that.


Renee looked a bit surprised.


Renee Young:Really?


Johnny Gargano:Yeah because it's all untrue I mean he still performs at a high level so his age doesn't really matter and he was successful long before he married his wife Nicole so why would he need any influence to get ahead? 


Renee Young:I..was not expecting this at all.


Johnny smirked and shrugged.


Johnny Gargano:Now does the fact that I respect him gonna make me take it easy out there in the ring tonight,hell no in fact it's gonna make me work harder I mean I gotta keep my reputation as Johnny Wrestling after all and I also have my dream of becoming EBWF World Champion to achieve and everyone knows unless you've been living under a rock the last 22 years that winning the King Of The Ring tournament grants you an EBWF title shot two months later.


Johnny put his hand on Renee's shoulder.


Johnny Gargano:So Renee my thoughts are that later tonight I'm go out there and beat Randy Orton then I'm gonna beat anyone else in this tournament who gets in my way then I'm gonna win the EBWF World Championship and show everyone why I am called Johnny Wrestling 


Gargano winked at the camera and he and Joseph Park walked away as the scene faded to pitch black.
