The camera opened up on Randy Orton in the backstage area just before Last Survivor. Randy was leaning against a wall, eating a plain chicken sandwich. Randy looked up at the camera.

Randy Orton: You know I normally talk a lot of crap about the people that spend most of their time in catering, but I gotta tell you. They have good stuff in there nowadays. It’s pretty impressive. That’s the one reason I don’t begrudge working for an Italian. The food is top tier.

Randy finished his sandwich and dusted his hands off.

Randy Orton: But now is the point in the year where it’s all hands on deck, and it’s time for me to step away from my multi-million dollar deal to eat chicken sandwiches and start throwing guys out of the ring who think it’s “their time”. Though my boy Edge seems to be pretty fired up about Last Survivor this year, I think I’ll drop in and take the win for myself. Last Survivor is the only thing not on my resume, and I want it. For too long, Edge and I have served as a check and balance to the immediate ascent of every flavor of the month that the front office wants to get their hands on. And tonight is going to be no different. Whether it’s Edge, or me, anyone not named the Miz is going to have a long night. For the Miz, hopefully, it will be mercifully brief. Tonight, I’m going to throw every surprise entrant out of the Last Survivor match, plus the other 21 guys...

Randy checked his fingers.

Randy Orton: Right, 21. Math. Tonight I’m gonna throw all of them over the top rope and claim Last Survivor and make the branding for Wrestlemania real simple - it’ll start and end with R...K...O.

Randy smirked and winked at the camera before pushing it away.
