MATCH ONE

Mauro Ranallo: Get ready, folks… It's time for Last Survivor! Tonight, we are live from the sold out Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, Florida, and we’re kicking things off with the women’s Last Survivor match!

Mina Shirakawa’s music hit, and the crowd booed as Mina made her way to the ring.

Nigel McGuinness: And out first is Oedo Tai’s Mina Shirakawa, who had the opportunity to choose her entry number for this match… and she chose the number one! She wants to be a true Last Survivor, and outlast everybody!

Mina strutted to the ring with a confident smirk, and as she entered the ring, she turned to face the camera.

Mina Shirakawa: Tonight, I’m not just winning this match… I’m also scouting for a new Oedo Tai member. Let’s see who impresses me!

Mauro Ranallo: Mina Shirakawa kicking things off, and she’s got an agenda tonight!

Nigel McGuinness: Who will catch her eye? And more importantly, will she survive long enough to see her scouting mission through?

“Missile” by Dorothy hit, and the crowd cheered as the veteran Natalya entered at number 2. When Natalya was in the ring, the referee called for the bell, and the two women locked up in the center of the ring. Natalya took control, using her technical prowess to ground Mina. Natalya then lifted Mina up for a powerbomb… but Mina countered with a hurricanrana! Mina then pummeled Natalya against the ring mat, hitting her with punches, kicks, and stomps. The ten second countdown for the next entrant began, and as the clock struck zero, “I’m Alive” hit. The crowd gave a mixed reaction as Hikari Noa stepped out onto the stage.

Nigel McGuinness: Entering the match at number three is Hikari Noa, a former idol wrestler best known for competing in Tokyo Joshi and DDT! What sort of impact will the “Deathmatch Princess” make here in EBWF?

Mina’s expression changed the moment Hikari Noa entered the ring. Rather than attack her, Mina extended her hand. Hikari hesitated before nodding, seemingly forming an alliance as they turned their attention to Natalya.

Mauro Ranallo: Is Hikari Noa the one Mina Shirakawa wants in Oedo Tai?!

Nigel McGuinness: That’s a dangerous alliance for anyone else in this match!

Mina and Hikari worked together to beat down Natalya, but Natalya fought valiantly, avoiding elimination. Another 90 seconds passed before Utami entered at number 4. Utami hit the ring like a storm, throwing powerful strikes and suplexing both Mina and Hikari. She grabbed Mina and dragged her towards the ropes, nearly eliminating Mina, but Hikari pulled her back in time.

Mauro Ranallo: That was close!

As Utami continued to do battle with Mina, Natalya took Hikari down with a spear, before locking her in the Sharpshooter! Natalya then pulled Hikari to her feet and threw her over the top rope… but Hikari held onto the ropes and managed to roll back into the ring. As Natalya continued trying to eliminate Hikari, “Reach for the Sky” by Social Distortion hit, and the crowd cheered as Liv Morgan made her way to the ring. Morgan entered with a burst of energy, immediately targeting Natalya. Over the next few minutes, the ring began filling up as both Mickie James and Alexa Bliss entered the Last Survivor match at #6 and #7 respectively. As Bliss entered the ring, she and Liv began working together, targeting Mina and Hikari.

Nigel McGuinness: There is no love lost between the Rebellious Angels and Oedo Tai, Mauro. Can Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan spoil the party for Mina?

There were no eliminations over the next 90 seconds before Trish Stratus entered to a massive ovation. Trish made an immediate impact, hitting Mickie James with the Chick Kick before throwing her over the top rope, eliminating her. Trish then came to the aid of Natalya, who was battling Utami. There were no eliminations over the next 90 seconds, before a surprise entrant entered the match at number 9…

Mauro Ranallo: Well this is interesting, Nigel! We have only seen Unagi Sayaka once before in an EBWF ring, when she went one on one with the current EBWF Women’s Champion, Britt Baker, back in 2022. Is she entering the Last Survivor match tonight because she wants another shot at The Doctor? Or is she here to align herself with another former Cosmic Angel, Mina Shirakawa?

Mina locked eyes with Unagi as she entered the ring. Smiling, Mina extended her hand… but Unagi slapped Mina’s hand away, then began hitting her with a series of punches!

Nigel McGuinness: Well there’s your answer, Mauro! Mina may be scouting for Oedo Tai tonight… but clearly Unagi Sayaka wants no part of it!

As Mina tried to fight off Unagi, on the other side of the ring Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan had Utami against the ropes. The Rebellious Angels hit Utami with a double dropkick, sending her over the top rope and eliminating her. Bliss and Morgan then turned their attention to Trish and Natalya whilst Unagi battled both Mina and Hikari. After hitting Hikari with a swinging reverse STO, Unagi set Mina up for the Taigi De Atta… but Mina blocked it, spun Unagi around, and hit her with the Glamorous Driver MINA! Mina then threw Unagi over the top rope, eliminating her. A few moments later, Himeka’s entrance theme hit, and Mina grinned as her Oedo Tai teammate headed down to the ring.

Mauro Ranallo: Well Nigel, we are at the halfway point, and things are about to get interesting. Himeka is entering the match, and if, as it seems, Hikari Noa is working with Oedo Tai, then Mina, Himeka and Hikari could prove to be a deadly force in this match!

As Himeka entered the ring, she stood side by side with Mina and Hikari. The trio then looked across at Trish, Natalya, Bliss, and Morgan, as if deciding where to strike first. While Oedo Tai considered their next move, the other four women seemed to realize what was happening. Trish could be heard saying to Bliss and Morgan, “if we work together, it’s four on three”. Bliss and Morgan nodded, then charged at Mina Shirakawa! Trish went after Himeka, whilst Natalya locked up with Hikari.

Nigel McGuinness: Oh my goodness, Mauro! The seven women in the ring are going to war right now!

Another 90 seconds passed, then Ava Johnson entered the match at #11. As she entered the ring, Ava turned her attention to Hikari Noa, who had Natalya trapped in the corner. Ava grabbed Hikari, setting her up for the Rock Bottom… but Hikari blocked it, and countered with a Blizzard Suplex! As both women got to their feet, Hikari charged towards Ava, hitting her with a clothesline and sending her over the top rope. Natalya then charged at Hikari, going for a big boot… but Hikari saw her just in time and pulled down on the ropes, sending Natalya to the outside.

Mauro Ranallo: Ava Johnson and Natalya eliminated in quick succession!

As Hikari went to help Mina, who was being double-teamed by Bliss and Morgan, “C’est la Vie” by B*Witched hit and the fans cheered as Nixon Newell stepped out onto the stage, her purple ring gear almost as colorful as her pink and blue hair.

Nigel McGuinness: “The Girl with the Shiniest Wizard”, Nixon Newell, is one of our surprise entrants! Can this talented Welsh superstar make an impact here in the Last Survivor match?

As Nixon entered the ring, Himeka immediately charged towards her, going for a clothesline. Nixon reacted quickly, stopping Himeka in her tracks with a low dropkick. Himeka fell to her knees, and Nixon ran against the ropes, before hitting Himeka with the Shiniest Wizard! Nixon then tried to eliminate Himeka, but Mina intervened before she could do so. Another 90 seconds passed without any eliminations, before Angelina Love entered at number 13.

Mauro Ranallo: What a moment this is, Nigel! The former General Manager, Angelina Love, is entering the Last Survivor match! We haven’t seen her in EBWF for almost four years… and it’s been over seven years since she competed in an EBWF ring!

The crowd cheered, and began chanting “welcome back!” as Love entered the ring. The first person to approach Love was Hikari, who went to hit her with the Blizzard Suplex… but Love countered with the Lights Out! Love then charged towards Himeka, going for the Botox Injection… but Himeka ducked underneath it and lifted Love onto her shoulders, applying an Argentine backbreaker. Himeka tried to throw Love out of the ring, but Love broke free and exchanged right hands with Himeka. Meanwhile, Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan were once again double-teaming Mina Shirakawa, whilst Trish Stratus had Nixon Newell in the corner. Trish tried to lift Nixon over the ropes, but Nixon fought back, kicking Trish away… before climbing to the top rope and hitting Trish with the Molly Go Round!

Nigel McGuinness: Nixon Newell using a move from her favorite wrestler, Molly Holly! It’s high-risk to go to the top rope in a Last Survivor match, but it paid off for the Welsh Wizard this time!

As Nixon dragged Trish towards the ropes, the camera cut back to Angelina Love, who had Himeka locked in a headlock. Himeka broke free and pushed Love away… and as she did so, Hikari hit Love with a thrust kick. Himeka and Hikari then dragged Love towards the ropes, and tried to lift her over the top rope as the 10 second countdown for entrant #14 began. “Angel On My Shoulder” played once more, and the fans inside the arena erupted as Velvet Sky ran down to the ring.

Mauro Ranallo: I can’t believe what I’m seeing, Nigel! For the first time in five years, Velvet Sky is here in EBWF! We’re getting a Beautiful People reunion, and it’s… well, beautiful!

As Velvet Sky reached the ring, Himeka and Hikari had Love over the top rope… but Sky pulled them off her, allowing Love time to get back in the ring. Sky then hit Hikari with a jawbreaker, before setting Himeka up for the Makeover. The Beautiful People then hit a Makeover / Botox Injection combination, before eliminating Himeka!

Nigel McGuinness: What a moment for Angelina Love and Velvet Sky! They have just eliminated Himeka from the Last Survivor match!

Mauro Ranallo: Mina Shirakawa has noticed… and she does not look happy, Nigel!

Having managed to fight off both Alexa Bliss and Liv Morgan, Mina tried to save Himeka from being eliminated… but she was unable to get there in time. After letting out a cry of fury, Mina charged towards Angelina and Velvet, hitting them both with a double clothesline. Mina then grabbed Velvet Sky and threw her into the corner, where she hit her with repeated kicks. Meanwhile, Hikari dragged Angelina Love towards the end of the ring, then used the ropes to choke her! As Love began to fade, Hikari freed her, before lifting Love up onto her shoulders and throwing the Canadian Angel out of the ring. A few moments later, Mina lifted Sky up and hit her with a running crucifix bomb, throwing her out of the ring and onto Angelina Love!

Nigel McGuinness: Mina gets her revenge… Angelina Love and Velvet Sky have been eliminated!

As the crowd booed, Love and Sky thanked the fans for their support before making their way to the back. A few moments later, “Drama Over the Limit” hit and Io Shirai headed to the ring. Another 90 seconds passed without any further eliminations before Mayu Iwatani entered at number 16.

Mauro Ranallo: Only four more women left to enter this year’s Last Survivor match, Nigel. We know Marina Shafir and Nikki Cross are left to enter, but who else will we see involved?

Nigel McGuinness: I’ve heard some rumors, Mauro… but I’m not going to say anything in case that’s all they are.

The eight women in the match had separated off into the four corners. On one side of the ring, Mina was brawling with Io Shirai, whilst Mayu Iwatani had locked up with Hikari Noa. On the other side of the ring, Alexa Bliss was trying to eliminate Trish Stratus, while Nixon Newell had locked horns with Liv Morgan. As the countdown clock struck zero once more, “Legendary” by CFO$ hit, and the crowd gave a mixed reaction as Jessamyn Duke stepped out onto the stage. Rather than enter the match, Duke waited at the top of the ramp.

Mauro Ranallo: Jessamyn “The Gun” Duke is here, but she appears to be taking her time entering this match. Is she waiting for Marina Shafir?

Sure enough, Duke remained at the top of the ramp until another 90 seconds had passed, and out came Marina Shafir. As Shafir stepped out onto the stage, she nodded at Duke, who nodded back. The two women then headed down to the ring… but as they reached the bottom of the ramp, Shafir grabbed Duke, throwing her into the ring steps!

Mauro Ranallo: What just happened? Did Marina Shafir just betray Jessamyn Duke?

Nigel McGuinness: Betray is such an ugly word… it’s every woman for themselves in the Last Survivor match, Mauro! Marina Shafir is simply reminding Jessamyn Duke of that fact.

As Duke tried to get to her feet, Shafir grabbed her, powerbombing her onto the ring apron! Shafir then threw Duke into the ring, rolled into the ring, grabbed Duke once more and lifted her onto her shoulders, throwing her out of the ring and eliminating her. A few moments later, Liv Morgan eliminated Nixon Newell after hitting her with ObLIVion. Shafir set her sights on Liv, but as Shafir began to approach Liv, she was attacked by Trish Stratus!

Mauro Ranallo: Trish immediately targets Marina Shafir, and with good reason! Don’t forget, it was Marina Shafir who attacked Trish Stratus all those months ago, acting under the orders of “The Man in Black”, Adam Cole!

Shafir tried to fight Trish off, but Trish pummeled her with repeated punches, then hit her with the Stratusfaction before eliminating her. Feeling vindicated, Trish then turned her attention to Liv Morgan. A few moments later, “Living Dead Girl” by Rob Zombie hit, and the crowd cheered as Millie McKenzie made her way to the ring.

Nigel McGuinness: The rumors were true! Millie McKenzie, one of the brightest prospects in British wrestling, is entering the Last Survivor match, and I have it on good authority that she has signed an EBWF contract!

Mauro Ranallo: What an addition to the roster she will be if that’s true, Nigel!

As McKenzie entered the ring, she looked around at her opponents, eventually setting her sights on Io Shirai. McKenzie charged towards Shirai, taking her down with a spear, before following up with a British destroyer! McKenzie then pulled Shirai back to her feet, throwing her over the top rope and eliminating her! Shortly after, “Hunt You Down” by Saliva hit and the final entrant, Nikki Cross, headed down to the ring.

Mauro Ranallo: All 20 women have now entered the Last Survivor match, and one of the eight women standing in the ring – Mina Shirakawa, Hikari Noa, Liv Morgan, Alexa Bliss, Trish Stratus, Mayu Iwatani, Millie McKenzie or Nikki Cross – will earn a shot at the EBWF Women’s Championship!

Nigel McGuinness: And don’t forget Mauro, Mina Shirakawa came out first… she’s been in this match for over 30 minutes! Can she last a little longer, or will fatigue start to set in?

As Nikki Cross entered the ring, she immediately targeted Alexa Bliss, taking her down to the mat and hitting her with a series of punches. Cross then set up Bliss for a piledriver, but Bliss countered with a back body drop, before hitting a DDT. Cross looked dazed as she got to her feet, and Bliss threw her against the ropes, then hit a dropkick, sending her over the top rope and eliminating her! A few moments later, Mayu Iwatani was eliminated by Trish Stratus, and Mille McKenzie was eliminated by Mina Shirakawa.

Nigel McGuinness: We’re down to the final five… and interestingly, all five of the women remaining entered in the first half of the match! Mina, Hikari, Alexa, Liv and Trish have all shown impressive resilience, but which of them will be the Last Survivor?

The camera cut to Trish Stratus, who was standing in the corner, waiting for the right opportunity to strike whilst her four remaining opponents fought amongst themselves. Mina Shirakawa was exchanging blows with Alexa Bliss, whilst Liv Morgan was grappling Hikari Noa. As Bliss hit Mina with a swinging reverse STO, Trish seized her moment. She charged towards Bliss, who swung a wild punch at her… but Trish blocked it, then countered with a Chick Kick, stunning Bliss. Trish then tossed Bliss over the top rope, eliminating her. Meanwhile, on the other side of the ring, Hikari Noa and Liv Morgan were battling near the ropes. Hikari caught Morgan with an uppercut, knocking her backwards onto the ropes, then attempted a running knee… but Morgan ducked, pulling the top rope down and causing Hikari’s momentum to send her tumbling to the floor.

Mauro Ranallo: Now we’re down to three, Nigel! Who will be the Last Survivor – Liv Morgan, Trish Stratus, or Mina Shirakawa?

With Mina still down, Trish turned her attention to Liv Morgan. The two women exchanged punches, and after gaining the upper hand, Trish set Morgan up for the Stratusfaction… but Morgan countered with a Blue Thunder Bomb! After stomping on Trish several times, Morgan pulled Trish to her feet and whipped her against the ropes. As Trish hit the ropes, Morgan hit her with a running single leg dropkick, sending Trish over the top rope!

Nigel McGuinness: And then there were two! Liv Morgan is riding a wave of momentum, but Mina Shirakawa has outlasted everyone. Who will take it all?

The final two squared off, their exhaustion evident but their determination unyielding. Morgan charged at Mina, ducking a lariat and hitting a springboard bulldog. Morgan then climbed to the top rope and launched herself with a diving crossbody, but Mina rolled through, nearly throwing Morgan out in one swift motion. Morgan managed to hang onto the ropes, pulling herself back into the ring.

Mauro Ranallo: Mamma Mia, Nigel! That was close!

As Morgan re-entered the ring, Mina charged towards her, but Morgan countered with a step-up enzuigiri, causing Mina to stagger backwards. Sensing her moment, Morgan set Mina up for ObLIVion… but Mina countered with an STO! Mina then grabbed Morgan by the legs, catapulting her towards the ropes. Morgan went over the ropes, but managed to hold onto them and landed on the apron. As she tried to get back into the ring, Mina quickly climbed onto the turnbuckle and hit Morgan with a shotgun dropkick! Both of Mina’s feet hit Morgan full force in the face, and she fell to the floor. As soon as both of Morgan’s feet hit the floor, the referee called for the bell.

Mauro Ranallo: Mina Shirakawa has done it! The leader of Oedo Tai has outlasted nineteen other competitors!

Nigel McGuinness: Love her or hate her, you cannot deny she has earned her opportunity. And now, the question becomes – can Mina Shirakawa take that momentum forwards to successfully challenge the EBWF Women's Champion, Britt Baker?

Mina stood victorious, looking down at the fallen Liv Morgan before turning to the hard camera. With a sly grin, she raised her arms, then motioned to her waist, signaling that her next target was the EBWF Women's Championship.

MATCH TWO

The arena was buzzing with anticipation as the bell rang to signal the start of a high-stakes mixed tag match. CM Punk, the voice of a generation, stood in one corner with Britt Baker, the self-proclaimed "Role Model" of women's wrestling. Their opponents, the narcissistic Matt Cardona and his fiery wife, Chelsea Green, waited across the ring with smirks on their faces, exuding arrogance.

Mauro Ranallo: This one is going to be absolutely electric, Nigel! We've got a clash of personalities, skill, and pure attitude in this mixed tag team match. It's Punk and Baker versus Cardona and Green—who’s going to come out on top?"

Nigel McGuinness: Punk and Baker are a formidable pairing, and I give kudos to the champs for insisting they be on the program tonight, but don’t underestimate Cardona and Green. They’ve got chemistry and know how to play the game, especially with their antics.

The match began with Punk and Cardona locking eyes, their mutual disdain evident from the moment the bell rang. Cardona smirked, showing off his muscles, as he arrogantly took his time stepping into the ring.

Mauro Ranallo: Look at the smugness on Cardona’s face! He thinks he’s got this in the bag already! No respect for the EBWF World Champion.

Nigel McGuinness: Don’t let the pretty-boy exterior fool you, Mauro. Cardona is dangerous, especially when he feels confident.

Punk wasted no time, charging forward and delivering a sharp kick to Cardona’s midsection. Cardona stumbled back, but his cocky attitude only grew more intense. He retaliated with a hard forearm smash to Punk's face, knocking him off balance. But Punk, ever the veteran, ducked another wild strike and hit the ropes, springboarding back with a crossbody.

Mauro Ranallo: A springboard crossbody from Punk! This man’s agility is still second to none, even after all these years!

Nigel McGuinness: You can never count out Punk. He’s been in every kind of fight imaginable, and his resilience is something to behold.

Cardona rolled out of the ring to regroup, but before he could do so, Britt Baker tagged herself in, much to the displeasure of Chelsea Green, who was already pacing on the apron. Chelsea rolled her eyes and slapped the tag onto herself, entering the match with a vicious glare.

Mauro Ranallo: And now we’ve got the two women facing off! Baker and Green, both incredibly talented but with a lot of history on the independent circuit between them!"

Nigel McGuinness: You can bet Baker has a point to prove here tonight.

Britt Baker, always in control of the situation, locked up with Green in the center of the ring, forcing her into the corner. With a quick snap, Baker delivered an arm drag, followed by a sharp dropkick to Green’s chest. Green stumbled back, but fired back with a vicious slap across Baker’s face.

Mauro Ranallo: OH! What a slap from Chelsea Green! That one echoed throughout the arena!

Nigel McGuinness: Chelsea Green is no stranger to dirty tactics, and you can see that coming out here tonight.

Baker, not one to back down, grabbed Green by the hair and threw her into the corner. She charged in with a running forearm smash, followed by a snap suplex that sent Green crashing to the mat.

Mauro Ranallo: Britt Baker showing why she’s one of the best in the business! That snap suplex was textbook!

Nigel McGuinness: The technical prowess of Britt Baker is something Green can’t match. It’s going to take more than attitude to beat her.

But as soon as Baker went for the cover, Cardona entered the ring, pulling her off by her ankle and tossing her into the ropes. Punk wasn’t far behind, however, and leveled Cardona with a huge clothesline, sending him tumbling to the outside.

Mauro Ranallo: And there goes Cardona! CM Punk just leveled him with a clothesline from hell!

Nigel McGuinness: Punk with the save! The chaos is already spilling over into the outside!

Back inside the ring, Green took advantage of the distraction and hit a swift superkick to Baker’s jaw, dazing her. She quickly tagged Cardona back in, and the two tried to double-team Britt Baker, with Cardona lifting her for a powerbomb while Green perched herself on the top rope.

Mauro Ranallo: This looks like trouble for Baker—Cardona’s got her up for the powerbomb, and Chelsea Green is ready to fly!

Nigel McGuinness: If they hit this combination, it could be over for Britt Baker!

But as Cardona lifted Baker, she managed to wriggle free, landing behind him. Baker tagged in Punk, and the crowd erupted as the Straight Edge Superstar re-entered the ring.

Mauro Ranallo: Punk’s back in! The fans are on their feet—this is about to get wild!

Punk immediately took charge, hitting Cardona with a series of forearms, followed by a beautiful leg lariat that sent him crashing to the canvas. Green tried to intervene, but Punk intercepted her with a crushing GTS, dropping her in the center of the ring. The crowd went crazy.

Mauro Ranallo: Can he do that?!

Nigel McGuinness: He just did! Goodnight, Chelsea Green! Punk with a GTS, and Green is out cold!

Mauro Ranallo: What a sequence! Punk is on fire right now!

Cardona, now alone in the ring, tried to mount a comeback but was immediately hit with a brutal roundhouse kick from Punk, sending him stumbling backward into Britt Baker’s waiting arms. Without missing a beat, Baker locked in the *Lockjaw* submission, twisting Cardona’s arm while applying pressure to his jaw.

Mauro Ranallo: Lockjaw! Baker’s got the submission locked in on Cardona! This could be it!

Nigel McGuinness: Cardona’s in trouble! There’s nowhere to go, and Baker has that submission on tight!

Cardona fought valiantly, trying to break free, but the pain was too much. With one final groan, he tapped out, causing the bell to ring.

Mauro Ranallo: And it’s over! CM Punk and Britt Baker win this incredible mixed tag match!

Nigel McGuinness: An impressive victory for Punk and Baker. They showed what teamwork and resilience are all about. A huge win tonight for our champions.

As the crowd erupted in cheers, Punk and Baker stood tall in the ring, fists raised in victory. They had overcome the arrogant duo of Cardona and Green, sending a powerful message to their competitors.

Nigel McGuinness: Cardona and Green may have the attitude, but tonight, it was Punk and Baker who proved that they’re the real deal.

Mauro Ranallo: Britt Baker already knows she’ll take on Mina Shirakawa at Fallout, and CM Punk will find out who will be his opponent when we come back!

Punk and Baker continued to celebrate in the ring as the scene faded and an add for Fallout began to play.

MATCH THREE

Mauro Ranallo: It’s time for our main event… the men’s Last Survivor match! 30 superstars enter, and the last man standing will challenge CM Punk for the EBWF World Championship at Fallout!

“Booyaka 619” hit, and the crowd cheered as Rey Mysterio made his way to the ring.

Nigel McGuinness: And here comes Rey Mysterio, entering the Last Survivor match at number one for the second year in a row! Talk about bad luck.

As Rey entered the ring, “It Is My Time” hit, and the crowd gave a mixed reaction as Rey’s son, Dominik Mysterio, headed down the ramp. A smirk crossed Dominik’s face as he entered the ring. The bell rang, and Rey challenged Dominik to come at him, ready for a fight. Dominik approached Rey slowly, then offered his hand for a handshake… but as Rey reached out to accept the handshake, Dominik cheap-shotted him with a knee to the gut! Dominik then hit Rey with a series of punches, before whipping him against the ropes. As Rey ran back towards him, Dominik went for a clothesline… but Rey ducked underneath it, then springboarded off the ropes, hitting a seated senton! As both men got to their feet, Dominik tried to lift Rey up for a body slam, but Rey hit a headscissors takedown, causing Dominik to tumble forwards and land on the second rope. The crowd cheered in anticipation, and Rey ran against the ropes, before hitting the 619! Rey then tried to eliminate Dominik, but Dominik fought back, holding onto the ropes to keep himself in the match. The clock struck zero for the next entrant, and the crowd booed as Rex Steiner made his way down to the ring.

Nigel McGuinness: Here comes a powerhouse! Rex Steiner is about to bulldoze the competition!

As Steiner reached the bottom of the ramp, he slid into the ring and immediately leveled both Mysterios with a double clothesline! He then grabbed Dominik, hoisting him up for a military press slam and dumping him like trash onto the mat. A few moments later, Rey staggered to his feet, and Steiner grabbed him, lifting him up for a belly-to-belly suplex! Steiner then lifted Rey up onto his shoulders in a gorilla press, before launching him over the top rope! As Rey crashed to the floor, Dominik tried to attack Steiner from behind… but Steiner turned around and grabbed Dominik by the hair, effortlessly flinging him over the top rope, and sending Dominik crashing down next to his father.

Mauro Ranallo: Talk about making an impact… Rex Steiner has brutally dispatched both Rey and Dominik Mysterio, and now he’s got a few moments to recuperate before the next man enters this match. What an absolute wrecking machine!

Nigel McGuinness: Whoever is entering at number 4 might be cursing their luck more than Rey Mysterio did when he drew number one, Mauro… I would not want to be alone in the ring with Rex Steiner right now!

Steiner flexed, roaring to the crowd as he paced the ring, waiting for his next opponent. The countdown clock struck zero, and generic Latin American music hit as a mysterious masked man dressed all in gold stepped out onto the stage.

Christy Hemme: Entering at number four… from Latin America… Conquistador Uno!

Nigel McGuinness: Who an earth is Conquistador Uno, Mauro?

Mauro Ranallo: Rex Steiner’s next victim, by the looks of things!

Conquistador Uno walked to the ring cautiously, and as he entered the ring, he pleaded with Steiner, hands raised in surrender. Steiner smirked and stepped towards him… but as he did so, Uno struck suddenly, catching Steiner off guard with a low blow! Uno ran against the ropes, hitting Steiner with a spear, then followed up with the Unprettier! The crowd cheered as they realized who was underneath the mask. Steiner crawled towards the edge of the ring, using the ropes to pull himself up… but as soon as Steiner was on his feet, Uno threw him over the top rope, eliminating him!

Mauro Ranallo: Mamma Mia! Conquistador Uno just took out Rex Steiner!

Nigel McGuinness: Quit playing dumb, Mauro… you know who’s underneath that mask! He’s taken out Rex Steiner in the most underhanded way possible, and he’s not even supposed to be here!

As Steiner protested, Uno pulled off his mask… revealing himself as Christian Cage! Steiner tried to re-enter the ring, but security and referees ordered him to the back as Christian taunted him. A few moments later, “Guilty” by Cory Marks hit, and “The Lone Gunn” Austin Gunn made his way to the ring. As Gunn entered the ring, he exchanged right hands with Christian, and after gaining the upper hand, Christian set Gunn up for a suplex… but Gunn blocked it, countering with a neckbreaker. The momentum swung back and forth between Gunn and Christian, with neither man able to eliminate the other before the clock struck zero once more. Brian Cage entered next, and perhaps intimidated by the bigger man, Gunn and Christian decided to work together. As Cage entered the ring, Gunn and Christian hit him with kicks to the midsection, then set him up for a double suplex… but Cage blocked it, then suplexed both Gunn and Christian simultaneously!

Mauro Ranallo: Brian Cage showing why he is called “The Machine”… he lifted Christian Cage and Austin Gunn in the air there effortlessly!

Cage whipped Gunn into the corner and hit him with a bodypress, then whipped Christian into the opposite corner and did the same to him. He then tried to eliminate Gunn, but Gunn fought back and hit Cage with the Fame Asser. Gunn and Christian continued to work together, trying to get Cage over the top rope, but Cage was too strong and managed to fight both men off. “Out of Time” hit, and the crowd cheered as Pac came in at number 7. As Pac reached the ring, he jumped up onto the ring apron, then leapt onto the top rope, catching Brian Cage with a springboard dropkick! He then hit Austin Gunn with a brainbuster, before hitting a Liger Bomb on Christian.

Nigel McGuinness: Pac is moving at lightning speed!

Pac turned his attention back to Cage, hitting him with a spinning elbow and sending him staggering backwards onto the ropes. Pac then charged towards The Machine, hitting him with a running knee strike! Cage flipped over the top rope, landing on the outside.

Mauro Ranallo: Pac eliminates Brian Cage!

Over the next few minutes, the ring began to fill up as Mads Krügger, Joe Hendry and The Miz entered the ring. Upon entering the ring, Miz crouched in the corner, trying to avoid getting involved in the action, but Christian noticed him and charged towards Miz, trapping him in the corner and pummeling him with a series of punches. On the other side of the ring, Joe Hendry had Pac set up for the Standing Ovation… but as he lifted Pac up, Pac broke free and got behind Hendry, hitting a German suplex. As Hendry stumbled to his feet, Pac hit him with a superkick, sending Hendry over the top rope! A few moments later, Austin Gunn eliminated Mads Krügger after hitting him with the Quick Draw. As Gunn turned his attention to Pac, “Heroes” by Shinedown hit, and the crowd gave a mixed reaction as Ted DiBiase Jr. made his way down the ramp.

Mauro Ranallo: For the first time in almost three years, Ted DiBiase Jr. is here in EBWF! What a storied history this man has… he’s a former EBWF World Champion, a three-time Path to Glory Champion, and a three-time Tag Team Champion too.

Nigel McGuinness: He’s also a long-time ally of The Miz, Mauro… will we see a Vertex reunion here tonight, Mauro!

Sure enough, as soon as DiBiase entered the ring he came to the aid of The Miz, attacking Christian. Christian fought back, hitting DiBiase with a series of punches, then setting DiBiase up for the Unprettier… but DiBiase broke out of it, before hitting Christian with Dream Street! Miz then hit Christian with the Skull Crushing Finale, before throwing him over the top rope and eliminating him. The crowd booed, upset to see Christian eliminated.

Mauro Ranallo: Well after over 10 minutes, Conquistador Uno aka Christian Cage has been eliminated. He put his career on the line at Christmas Eve of Destruction, and he lost… so you have to wonder if we will see him in an EBWF ring again.

Nigel McGuinness: He shouldn’t have been in an EBWF ring tonight, Mauro!

Mauro Ranallo: As we say time and again, Nigel, anything can happen in Last Survivor!

There were no further eliminations over the next few minutes as Adam Cole, Seth Rollins and Matthew Riddle entered the ring. Riddle, DiBiase and Miz all worked together, causing Adam Cole, Austin Gunn, Seth Rollins and Pac to form a temporary alliance to fight back against Miz and co. However, that all changed as “The End of Heartache” hit and Roderick Strong entered the match at 15. Before entering the ring, Strong grabbed a couple of steel chairs from underneath the ring, passing one to Cole and wielding the other one himself. Cole and Strong then swung their chairs wildly, clobbering the other six competitors in the match – Austin Gunn, Pac, The Miz, Matthew Riddle, Seth Rollins, and Ted DiBiase Jr. – one by one. Cole then eliminated DiBiase after hitting him with a superkick, and a few moments later, Strong hit Gunn with the End of Heartache then threw him over the top rope, eliminating him.

Mauro Ranallo: Come on, this isn’t right! The Unleashed are behaving despicably once again!

Nigel McGuinness: You’ve changed your tune, Mauro! A few minutes ago, you were saying anything goes in Last Survivor.

Mauro Ranallo: That’s not what I said, Nigel! I said anything can happen… and while there are no disqualifications in a Last Survivor match, use of steel chairs and other weapons is highly irregular.

The other men in the match began to strategize, with Miz and Riddle attacking Cole whilst Rollins and Pac went after Strong. Whilst this was happening, one of the referees removed the steel chairs from the ring to try and restore some order. James Storm entered next, and after another 90 seconds, “Judas” by Fozzy began to play. The fans inside the arena went wild, and sang along as Chris Jericho made his way to the ring.

Mauro Ranallo: And here comes the man who won last year’s Last Survivor, Chris Jericho! Will he be the last man standing tonight, and win the Last Survivor match for an unprecedented fourth time?

As Jericho entered the ring, Miz and Riddle tried to double-team him, but Jericho fought them off, hitting Riddle with a Codebreaker before hitting the Judas Effect on Miz. Jericho tossed Miz out of the ring, then followed up by eliminating Matthew Riddle! Jericho then targeted his nemesis, Adam Cole, whilst Rollins fought Pac and James Storm battled Roderick Strong. Another 90 seconds passed, then “Dance Away” by Damn Valentines hit, and Kyle O’Reilly entered the match at 18.

Nigel McGuinness: And here comes another man we haven’t seen in EBWF for a few years… Kyle O’Reilly, previously part of Vertex with The Miz and Ted DiBiase, but also a longtime friend of Adam Cole and Roderick Strong. Where will O’Reilly’s allegiances be tonight, I have to wonder?

Nigel’s question was answered as soon as O’Reilly entered the ring – he came to the aid of Adam Cole, who Jericho had come close to eliminating. There were no further eliminations before the countdown clock struck zero once more, and The Big Show made his way to the ring. Upon hearing Big Show’s theme, everyone in the match seemed to take notice.

Mauro Ranallo: Well, we know what a threat The Big Show can be in these types of matches, Nigel! I think business is about to pick up!

Sure enough, upon entering the ring, Big Show made an immediate impact, taking down each of his opponents one by one with a combination of right hands, big boots, headbutts and clotheslines. The last man Big Show battled was James Storm, who tried hitting Big Show with a headbutt of his own… but the attack seemed to hurt Storm more than it hurt Big Show! Big Show laughed, then grabbed Storm by the throat and lifted him up, Chokeslamming him over the top rope! Storm landed hard on the ring apron, then rolled to the floor.

Nigel McGuinness: A vicious Chokeslam by The Big Show! James Storm might be seriously hurt!

Realizing how much of a threat he was, The Unleashed and Kyle O’Reilly worked together to triple team Big Show. The three men combined to wear down the giant, with Strong hitting a backstabber before Cole and O’Reilly hit Big Show with a double knee strike to the head. Cole, Strong and O’Reilly were then able to drag Big Show towards the ropes, where they hit him with a triple superkick, the force of which was enough to send Big Show over the top rope. As Big Show made his way to the back, the sound of shattered glass echoed throughout the arena.

Mauro Ranallo: Glass shatters, and this Florida crowd erupts! Here comes the Texas Rattlesnake, Stone Cold Steve Austin! Stone Cold surprised a lot of people last year by making it to the final two of the Last Survivor match… how will he fare tonight?

The first man to target Austin when he entered the match was the man who eliminated him the previous year, Chris Jericho. Jericho went to hit Austin with the Judas Effect… but Austin ducked underneath it, then hit the Stone Cold Stunner! Austin tried to eliminate Jericho, but Jericho was able to hold onto the ropes.

Nigel McGuinness: We are two thirds of the way through this match, and at the moment Pac has been in there the longest, clocking up a time of over 20 minutes. Can the Geordie high-flier make it to the end?

Jon Moxley entered next, and immediately targeted Seth Rollins. After a back-and-forth brawl between the two former Shield members, Moxley hit Rollins with the Paradigm Shift, before throwing him out of the ring, eliminating him! Over the next few minutes, there were two more surprise entrances as Trent and Paul London entered either side of the Gateway Champion, Damian Priest. Trent and London showed their allegiance to Chris Jericho, attacking Adam Cole and Roderick Strong before working together to eliminate Kyle O’Reilly! A few moments later, Damian Priest hit Stone Cold Steve Austin with South of Heaven, then threw him over the top rope. The countdown clock struck zero once again, and Randy Orton came out next to one of the biggest cheers of the night. As soon as Orton entered the ring, Priest attacked him and set him up for the Razor’s Edge… but Orton broke free and hit Priest with an…

Mauro Ranallo: RKO outta nowhere!

As Orton dragged Priest towards the ropes, trying to eliminate him, Trent and Paul London targeted Roderick Strong. They managed to get Strong into the corner, and tried to lift him over the top rope, but Adam Cole came to his partner’s aid. As Cole dragged Trent away, Strong managed to lift Paul London over the ropes. London landed on the ring apron, but Strong caught him with a knee strike, sending London to the floor. A few moments later, Adam Cole catapulted Trent into the ropes, then hit him with a superkick, sending him over the top rope.

Nigel McGuinness: Paul London and Trent both eliminated in quick succession, and once again Chris Jericho is out of allies!

As Cole and Strong turned their attention back to Chris Jericho, “The Chairman’s Intent” by Action Bronson hit and Hook rushed down to the ring. Upon entering the ring, Hook came to Jericho’s aid, targeting Roderick Strong. Meanwhile, Randy Orton was still brawling with Priest. Priest managed to overpower Orton, and set him up for South of Heaven… but Orton blocked it, countered with a headlock inverted backbreaker, then followed up with a second RKO! This time, he was able to lift Priest over the top rope, eliminating him. The countdown clock hit zero once more, and the arena lights dimmed as Sting’s music hit.

Mauro Ranallo: It’s Sting, Nigel! Sting is here!

Nigel McGuinness: I thought he’d retired?!

The camera cut to the stage as Sting walked through the curtain. The right side of Sting’s face was facing the camera, and as the camera zoomed out, it was revealed that Sting had only painted that side of his face. Sting stopped at the top of the ramp, and as his music stopped, another theme began to play…

Darby Allin emerged from behind Sting, with the left side of his face painted. Sting and Darby exchanged a fist bump, then Sting gave his protégé a pat on the back. Darby hopped on his skateboard and rolled down the ramp while Sting quietly retreated back through the curtain. Upon entering the ring, Darby set his sights on Pac. Meanwhile, Orton was exchanging furious punches with Moxley, while Jericho and Hook were working together against The Unleashed. There were no eliminations over the next few minutes as Edge and Alex Shelley entered at 28 and 29 respectively. Then, for the final time that evening, the 10 second countdown for the 30th entrant began.

Mauro Ranallo: Only one man left to enter… who is it gonna be, Nigel?

Tyler Breeze came out to a mixed reaction, with some fans excited to see “Prince Pretty” back in EBWF, whilst other fans were disappointed not to see a bigger name in the number 30 spot.

Nigel McGuinness: The fashion icon himself, Tyler Breeze, has arrived! And with that, the field is set – one of these eleven men will be the Last Survivor!

Breeze rolled into the ring and immediately found himself face-to-face with Darby Allin, who glared at him with a death stare. Breeze smirked, then struck a pose… but Darby launched at him with wild punches, forcing Breeze back into the corner. Breeze managed to fight back and raked Darby’s eyes, then threw Darby into the corner and sat him on the top rope, setting him up for a superplex… but Darby broke free and shoved Breeze onto the mat, before hitting the Coffin Drop!

Mauro Ranallo: A devastating Coffin Drop! Breeze is in trouble!

Darby quickly grabbed Breeze and threw him over the top rope! Breeze landed hard on the outside, slamming the mat in frustration as referees ushered him away. As Darby was catching his breath, the camera cut to Alex Shelley, who had Hook set up for the Shellshock.

Nigel McGuinness: If Alex Shelley hits this, it could spell disaster for Hook!

But Hook shifted his weight and blocked the move, then grabbed Shelley and hit an overhead belly-to-belly suplex, sending Shelley crashing over the top rope onto the apron! Shelley clung onto the ropes, trying to muscle his way back into the ring, but Hook reached over the ropes, locking in Redrum! Shelley frantically struggled, his arms flailing, as he tried to break free, but he was unable to do so. As Shelley began to fade, Hook released the hold, shoving Shelley to the floor!

Mauro Ranallo: What a moment for Hook! He just eliminated a legend in Alex Shelley!

Back on the other side of the ring, Darby Allin was exchanging punches with Edge. Darby went to whip Edge against the ropes… but Edge reversed the Irish whip, sending Darby into the ropes, then charged at Darby and hit him with the Spear! Edge and Orton then grabbed Darby, throwing him over the top rope and eliminating him.

Nigel McGuinness: We’re down to the final eight, Mauro! Pac, who has been in there for over 40 minutes now; Adam Cole and Roderick Strong, who have been in there almost as long; last year’s winner, Chris Jericho; Jon Moxley, Edge, Randy Orton, and Hook. Which of these men will outlast the other seven, and be standing tall at the end of the night?

As Edge and Orton turned their attention to Jon Moxley, the camera cut to Pac, who had Jericho down on the mat in the corner. Pac climbed the turnbuckle with dangerous intent, then leapt off the top rope… but Jericho suddenly sprang to life, catching Pac mid-air and transitioning seamlessly into the Walls of Jericho! Pac gritted his teeth in pain, and after a struggle was able to escape the hold. However, as Pac stumbled to his feet, Jericho hit him with a dropkick, knocking him back against the ropes. Jericho then followed up with the Judas Effect, sending Pac flipping backwards and over the top rope!

Mauro Ranallo: Pac has been eliminated, but what a performance he’s put in tonight!

Jericho had little time to celebrate, as Cole and Strong targeted him once more. Meanwhile, on the other side of the ring, Moxley had just hit Orton with a neckbreaker, and he caught Edge with a swift kick to the midsection, then set Edge up for the Paradigm Shift… but Edge broke free, grabbed Moxley, and drove his skull into the mat with an Edgecution!

Mauro Ranallo: Edge counters! Edgecution! And now Moxley’s in deep trouble!

Moxley groggily pulled himself up, but Edge clutched his tights and hurled him over the ropes! As Edge turned his attention to Roderick Strong, Hook snuck up behind Randy Orton, who was getting to his feet. When Orton was up, Hook grabbed him, locking in Redrum! But Orton slammed backwards into the turnbuckles, forcing Hook to release the hold! Hook then stumbled out of the corner, and Orton hit an RKO before throwing him over the top rope!

Nigel McGuinness: Hook has been eliminated! We’re down to the final five, and suddenly The Unleashed are outnumbered!

Edge, Orton and Jericho exchanged glances, then nodded at each other, an unspoken agreement forming. They begin surrounding Cole and Strong, closing in like wolves… until Kyle O’Reilly suddenly storms the ring, evening the odds for the Unleashed! O’Reilly charged at Orton, throwing fists wildly, but Orton fought back with punches of his own, hitting O’Reilly with an uppercut before throwing him out of the ring. However, as Orton turned around, Cole caught him with a superkick, sending him over the top rope! The crowd booed, and a stunned Orton slammed his hands on the edge of the ring mat before slowly making his way to the back. As Jericho grabbed Cole and whipped him into the corner, Strong whipped Edge against the ropes and went for a knee strike… but Edge ducked underneath it, then grabbed Strong from behind and hit the Edge-o-matic! As Strong got to his feet, Edge grabbed him and threw him over the top rope, eliminating him! Edge then grabbed Cole, setting him up for a back drop, but Cole swung his leg back, hitting Edge with a low blow!

Mauro Ranallo: Yet more underhanded tactics from Adam Cole!

Nigel McGuinness: He’s willing to do whatever it takes, Mauro!

As Edge fell to the mat, Cole hit Jericho with a forearm smash, then began using the ropes to choke Jericho! Jericho gasped for air, trying to fight free, but as he did so Cole hit him with a clothesline, sending him over the top rope. Cole then turned around, locking eyes with Edge, who was back on his feet. The two men stared daggers at one another, before exploding into a flurry of strikes. Cole was able to gain the upper hand, and he went for a Superkick, but Edge ducked underneath it, then hit a full nelson slam. As Cole tried to get to his feet, Edge stepped back, readying himself for the Spear. When Cole was up, Edge charged towards him… but Cole sidestepped the Spear at the last moment, before hitting a backstabber! Cole then pulled down his kneepad, and ran against the ropes, hitting Edge with The Boom!

Mauro Ranallo: Adam Cole has Edge rocked! This could be game over for the Rated R Superstar!

Cole dragged a dazed Edge toward the ropes, trying to lift him over the top rope but Edge fought back, trying to drag Cole over the top rope with him! Suddenly, both men were on the ropes, and they began trading punches whilst trying to hold onto the top rope. Edge then tried to grab Cole, but as he did so, Cole kicked Edge’s other hand off the ropes, before hitting a Superkick! Edge fell to the floor, and the referee called for the bell.

Nigel McGuinness: Adam Cole has done it! He is the Last Survivor!

Cole collapsed in the ring, exhausted, before climbing the turnbuckle and celebrating. Confetti fell from the rafters as Last Survivor went off the air.
