KENTA is standing in front of a huge Japanese Buddhist temple, LIVE from the land of the rising sun, taping a promo for his EBWF debut. The Japanese sensation is wearing a black t-shirt with some white Japanese symbols on it and some black sport pants. He seems really focused and it seems like he'd want to kick someone's butt right now. When he starts speaking, KENTA speaks in english, but with a huge accent, which make it a little bit difficult to understand, but it's still understandable.
KENTA: Behind me is one of the biggest Buddhist temples. It is a huge part of our history here in Japan and this is the kind of architecture the Japanese people can be proud of. Yes, contrarily to you innocent, self centered americans, we have some things we can be proud of. And just like your architectures in the United-States, your wrestlers aren't original with their boring promos.
KENTA smirks before he keeps going
KENTA: You see, as a wrestler I bring something that nobody else can bring to the table, it's called innovation! I'm an innovator! I'm creating myself, creating my moves! In fact, this is what Japanese wrestling has always been all about, innovation. In the United-States, all you do is copying us, stealing our moves and of course, you never give us the deserved credit. Most of you stupid fans in North America probably think that CM Punk's finishing maneuver is original, most of you probably don't know the origins of the Go 2 Sleep, better known as the GTS.
KENTA sighs and seems desperate.
KENTA: This is nothing against you innocent americans, this is not your fault, this is how you've all been educated, this is how you've been raised. You've been shown at an early age that respect is something that is not important in life. All that is important is the money. Well let me give you a small history lesson about professional wrestling. The Shooting Star Press that you are seeing Evan Bourne executing in North America was invented by none other than the Japanese legend, Jushin Liger. Before your pretty AJ Lee even thought of getting involved in the business, Keiji Mutoh was using the Shining Wizard! Before the Anaconda Vice was used by your World Champion, it was already used in Japan by the great Hiroyoshi Tenzan! Way before CM Punk used the Go 2 Sleep, a great wrestler named KENTA already used it in Japan.
KENTA takes a break and points at himself.
KENTA: My name is KENTA and I am the creator of the Go 2 Sleep! Now I am coming to America to take what's mine. All the glory that CM Punk've got with this move, I'm coming to take it back. The Championship that CM Punk is wearing around his waist... the EBWF World Championship, this is what I've signed to EBWF for, to finally claim what's mine! I am better than CM Punk, I am better than everybody in EBWF! I am...
KENTA smiles before he keeps going.
KENTA: ...the best in the world! Drew McIntyre, Kevin Steen, you both are two unlucky hitobito. Anata Fanniversary ryōhō no suimin shiyou to shite iru ndeshita...
KENTA puts his hands together and does CM Punk's GTS taunt to the camera.
KENTA: At Fanniversary you are both going to sleep!
KENTA roundhouse kicks the camera, knocking it down and walks away as the scene fades to black.
KENTA is coming over!
