OOC: Been pretty hectic at the moment and I lost part of my RP, so here's what I've got. Sorry guys for the poor showing.
Daniel Bryan was given the opportunity tonight to become the number one contender for the Intercontinental Championship. But before he could get a shot at the IC Champ, he'd have to go through a former World Champion and the man who knocked him out of the King of the Ring tournament.
Daniel Bryan was at the Sprint Centre, waiting patiently for Matt Striker to arrive at the interview set. The camera man was already positioned and ready to go, as was Bryan, but there was no Striker in sight. Bryan questioned the camera man who replied with a shrug of the shoulders. After waiting several minutes, Matt Striker finally arrived at the interview set, with both the camera man and Daniel staring at him.
Matt Striker: What?
Daniel Bryan: You were supposed to be here nearly 10 minutes ago.
Matt Striker: Every wrestler here is always late for their interviews. Why can't I be late once?
Daniel Bryan: Because I can snap your arm in two for wasting my time.
Daniel remained calm when threatening Striker, who flinched slightly and held his arm for a second.
Matt Striker: Uhh... Ok then, shall we start this interview?
Bryan nodded and the camera man began filming.
Matt Striker: Welcome everybody to Warfare, we're hot off the heels of Summerslam and tonight we are set to crown a new number one contender to the Intercontinental Championship currently held by John Cena. In the main event tonight it will be Cody Rhodes, Jay Briscoe and the man joining me now facing off for the opportunity to face John Cena. So Daniel, why do you think you should be the one to face John Cena?
Daniel Bryan: I'm going to face Cena because I'm the best WRESTLER out there. I'm not a hillbilly like Briscoe who has trouble saying the word Intercontinental and I'm certainly not obsessed more with my looks than actually wrestling like Cody Rhodes. I'm a person who grew up as a child and wanted to become a wrestler. I graduated from high school and started training straight away. I'm the guy that defies the odds to make it into the business. The issue of a small man in wrestling is not a massive problem here like it is in other major companies but my size has always been against me. People will look at me and they'll say "He's 200 pounds soaking wet, who could he beat?". They judge me before I've even wrestled, but when they give me that chance I tear the house down. It doesn't matter if it's 15,000 people or 15 people, I give my all in every single match. I actually know wrestling holds, that's something not even 5% of the roster know. In this industry wrestling is a dirty word. I'm in EBWF to make it the foundation of this industry once again. I'm not an entertainer, I don't do dramatic soap opera like scenes. I enter the ring, wrestle and win.
Matt Striker: If you happen to defeat Briscoe and Rhodes, do you believe that you will defeat John Cena who has been on quite a roll as of late?
Daniel Bryan: On a roll? The man has defended his title once since Wrestlemania. He lost in the King of the Ring finals. Hardly a roll. Regardless of how much of a threat he is, I will still defeat him. You put anyone in that ring with me and if I lock in a submission hold, you've only got 2 options: Tap or Snap. Make your choice wisely.
