MATCH ONE
Jim Ross: Good evening and welcome to Warfare! I'm Jim Ross, joined by Jerry "The King" Lawler!
Jerry Lawler: We are live from the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati, Ohio and up first tonight, the lovely Maria takes on Brooke Tessmacher!
Brooke came to the ring first, followed by Maria. When both divas were in the ring, the referee called for the bell. Maria and Brooke locked up and Maria quickly gained the upper hand, taking Brooke down with a snapmare. Maria stomped on Brooke several times, then pulled her to her feet and whipped her against the ropes. Maria took Brooke down with an arm drag, then made the pinfall attempt. The referee counted - 1... 2... kickout!
Jim Ross: A strong start from Maria!
Maria pulled Brooke to her feet and set her up for a back drop, but Brooke blocked it and applied a headlock. She released Maria and hit a series of right hands, then took her down with a roundhouse kick. Maria got to her feet and Brooke attempted a DDT, but Maria fought back, pushing Brooke into the turnbuckle. Maria ran at Brooke and hit a clothesline, causing Brooke to fall into a sitting position. Maria ran at Brooke once more and hit the bronco buster! Brooke got to her feet and Maria hit the Beautiful Bulldog, then hooked the leg. The referee counted - 1... 2... 3!
Jerry Lawler: It's over! Maria wins!
The referee called for the bell and raised Maria's arm in victory. Maria celebrated in the ring, then made her way to the back.
SEGMENT
Once again the EBWF ring found itself decorated with cheap plastic palm trees, a hammock, beach chairs, a wooden table, and coconut shell mugs. “I spit in the face of people who don’t wanna be cool!”
Jim Ross: Well ladies and gentlemen last week on the history-making 500th episode of Warfare one of EBWF’s newest roster members, Carlito, unveiled something he likes to call “Carlito’s Cabana.”
Jerry Lawler: And, well, things didn’t go exactly as Carlito planned when he called out our Intercontinental Champion, John Cena.
A video package was shown, recapping of the previous week’s “Cabana events”, and culminating in Carlito falling prey to Cena’s Attitude Adjustment. During the recap Carlito had made his way down to the ring, the arena erupting in heat, but now, as fans were reminded of Cena’s actions the week before, they broke into a huge pop. In the ring Carlito kicked the ring ropes and looking anything but happy as he spoke inaudibly.
Jerry Lawler: Carlito had some pretty strong words for Cena this week, JR. He called Cena a thug, made claims that Cena will regret his actions last Monday, and vowed to make the Champ’s life, “a living hell.”
Carlito’s shouted, incensed words interrupted the commentary.
Carlito: What are you people all cheering about?! Obvious DAS. NOT. COOL! Think about how many apples he bruised, needlessly! He could have messed up my hair! John Cena is a THUG and he is allowed to just run rampant around here and Carlito understands, he is kinda funny looking, he has friends in high places, so you all just cheer him, right? Well this is MY show, this is Carlito’s Cabana, and on MY show I say what goes and that’s why I chose for my guest tonight, someone else that has decided to make a target out of John Cena when he fights at Fanniversary for the Intercontinental title... Cody Rhodes!
"Requiem For A Dream" played through out the arena as Cody Rhodes made his way down the ramp in a pure, completely white suit. He didn't seem terribly interested in the crowd's reaction towards him nor did he waste very much time stepping into the ring. There certainly seemed to be something a little off about him. Cody gave Carlito a long, tense stare before smiling faintly at the host of the cabana.
Carlito: Cody. Carlito has some advice for you. You need to stop trying to treating John Cena like he is someone who deserves respect! He doesn't! After what he did to Carlito last week?! You need to take that Intercontinental title from him and when you do..you need to hurt him!
Cody's face had turned blank and without emotion. His eyes looked particularly empty.
Carlito: You know I'm right! I know you have to be as sick of him as everyone else!
It was difficult to tell if Carlito's words were resonating with Cody or not as his expression hadn't changed at all.
Carlito: Are you listening to Carlito? You get him in the ring and you--
The EBWF Universe never got to hear the rest of that sentence as the opening chords of “My Time Is Now” began to blare, cutting him off. The fans were immediately on their feet and the arena was plunged into a near deafening pop as the current Intercontinental Champion, John Cena, walked out from the back. He paused for a moment at the top of the ramp, nodding his appreciation to the fans, and then he made a beeline for the ring. His eyes never left the two men standing in the middle of the squared circle watching his arrival.
Jerry Lawler: Well so far tonight Cody Rhodes hasn’t had much to say but we all know John Cena is never a man of few words!
Cena climbed into the ring and eyeballed both Rhodes and Carlito for a moment before stepping between the two, yanking the title belt from his waist, and holding it up high, this time acknowledging only the fans. The movement created another immense round of cheers and applause.
Jim Ross: Cena is in the ring with the man next in line for his title and another man that obviously is not a Cenation member right now.
Jerry Lawler: But haven’t you been paying attention JR? John Cena and Cody Rhodes have an understanding. No mind games, no sneak attacks, just a straightforward match among gentlemen and fellow athletes to find out just who the better wrestler is. Rhodes and Cena even met for dinner last week!
Cena asked for a mic and was immediately given one. As his music faded he once again he gave Rhodes an upward, somewhat distracted nod, and then stepped between the two again to immediately get right into Carlito’s face.
John Cena: If you have something you’d like to say to me, or about me, why don’t you say it to my face you apple spewing, Chia pet!
Cena paused for only a brief moment, just long enough to give the fans their moment, and then, just as Carlito opened his mouth to speak Cena cut him off again.
John Cena: You know, I don’t meet Cody until Fanniversary. But in the meantime, I’ve gotten a little bored. Whattaya say I teach you a little something about respect tonight and you and I settle this thing right here, right now Carlito?
Carlito's eyes were growing wide but it didn't seem to be because of Cena. It was because one of the wooden lounge chairs had been lifted from the mat and smashed into the back of Cena's head, courtesy of Cody Rhodes! Splinters went flying everywhere and Cena collapsed onto his face.
Jim Ross: Bah gawd!
Jerry Lawler: So much for sportsmanship!
Cody looked downright demonic as he rolled Cena onto his back. He picked up one of the rather large chunks of wood that came from the smashed chair and began grinding it into Cena's forehead!
Jerry Lawler: What is he doing?!
Jim Ross: Cody Rhodes has... he's lost it! Someone stop this! Someone... we need help out here!!!
Blood began to trickle out of the champion's forehead at an alarming rate and Carlito had left the ring, seemingly not wishing to get in between this. Cody was screaming like a madman at Cena as the blood coming from his forehead began to cover his face. While this was going on a cord began to lower into the ring from the rafters. The cord was securely wrapped around Cena's ankles and Cody began to motion with his hands to someone. The cord began to lift, with Cena attatched to it, until he was hung completely upside down. His limp arms hung downward and he swayed lightly a few feet above the ring.
Jim Ross: This is..this is just disturbing..
Cody stood directly underneath of Cena with his arms stretched out and a strange smile on his face. The blood from Cena's forehead was trickling downwards onto Cody and beginning to stain his white suit with splashes of red. This gruesome scene lingered as Warfare went to a commercial.
SEGMENT
The scene opened up backstage with Michael Cole. He paused momentarily before he raised the microphone in his hand to speak. He cleared his throat and began.
Cole: Good evening ladies and gentlemen of the EBWF universe. Michael Cole here. I'd like to introduce my guest at this time, one half of the Beautiful People and new EBWF Women's tag team champion, Angelina Love.
The camera panned back slightly to reveal Angelina standing beside Michael Cole. She cockily smiled and looked down at her title belt which hung proudly over her slender shoulder.
Cole: Angelina, it's always a pleasure..
Angelina: You don't think I don't already know that? Of course it's always a pleasure to have me around. You're just lucky I let you interview me still. I could jump on the Renee Young bandwagon like everyone else has already done. You and Striker are so screwed.
Cole: I-uh...
Angelina: But I felt bad for you. So I'm giving you an amazing opportunity to interview moi. So you better not screw this up.
Cole: Alright... Moving on. Angelina, last week, the EBWF witnessed as you and Velvet Sky once again pulled off an impressive win and gained back the Women's tag team titles. Care to share with us what has been going on in your mind since then?
Angelina: Impressive win? As if those two goons are that hard to beat. Puh-lease. I told you that I'd kick Kaitlyn's face off and that is exactly what I did. I still don't have all her clown makeup off my boot yet, but it's okay, it was worth it. But to answer your question, nothing out of the usual has been going through my mind since then. I did exactly what I said I was going to do, so it's life as usual. I just have my title back that should have NEVER gone to that chipmunk and her ape of a friend. But it's all in the past, I'd rather just forget about all that nonsense and move on.
Cole: Well tonight you will be in singles action, taking on Maryse. Any thoughts on this?
Angelina rolled her eyes in an exaggerated manner and pretended to gag.
Angelina: That blow up doll still has a job here? I haven't even seen her in a match since I eliminated her ass from the Queen of the Ring tournament.
Cole: She's actually had a few matches since...
Angelina: None that matter. So it's all irrelevant just like she is. It must be tough for her, with her younger protege hogging all the spotlight and what not. Who gives a damn about Maryse when everyone is watching Paige, the youngest Women's champion in EBWF history.
Angelina faked a round of applause and shook her head, her long platinum blonde hair swaying with her movement. She adjusted her title belt on her shoulder and continued on.
Angelina: Anyways, I'm not even sweating my match tonight. My focus is on Paige. That title won't be around her pale waist much longer. Then you will get to see a double champion in the Women's division when I take back what is really mine. The EBWF women's championship. So-
The camera panned over to reveal Maryse standing behind Michael Cole. The platinum blonde was glaring a hole through Angelina.
Maryse: Do you think you're funny, BITCH?
Maryse put her hands on Cole's shoulder and shoved him aside. Angelina and Maryse were now face to face.
Maryse: I'll tell you what's funny. Your face. In about two..seconds.
Maryse smirked and Angelina looked poised to retort when she suddenly and harshly fell face first to the floor. This was because the Women's Championship had just gone crashing into the back of her head, via Paige. Paige and Maryse pulled the limp Angelina off of the floor and tossed her over the nearby catering table. That same table was flipped over on top of Angelina. Paige stood on the table that Angelina was pinned underneath and bent downwards to draw closer to her wincing face.
Paige: Even if must be forced..you will bow to your Queen.
Paige stepped off of the able and departed with Maryse as a few trainers came to check on Angelina.
Jerry Lawler: I don't think Angelina is going to be able to compete tonight, JR..
MATCH TWO
Bell rings and Ryback charged at Big Show. Show met him with a few punches. The behemoth men exchanged punches back and forth before Show gained an advantage and was able to slingshot Ryback against the ropes. Big Show swung for a right, but Ryback ducked underneath and hit the ropes on the other side. Full momentum ahead, but the largest athlete in the World was able to grab him for a bear hug. Ryback was so huge himself that Show couldn’t continue to hold him up, and Ryback’s feet began to touch the ground. Ryback was able to grab the wrists of Paul Wight and tried to pry himself free. Show quickly gave an elbow to the back and grabbed him in a torso squeeze again. Show then wrapped his massive right arm against Ryback’s chest, yanked him down, as Ryback fell to the ground, Show threw his leg over, and just as Ryback’s back hit the mat, Big Show’s leg collapsed on top of him. The crowd popped.
Jim Ross: The fans here excited to see these two monsters go at it.
Jerry Lawler: And Big Show’s supporters are out in full force tonight!
Show went for a cover. 1... 2... kick out. Big Show grabbed Ryback’s head and pulled him to his feet. Ryback began to hit Show’s large torso before standing up right. The barrage of punches continued. Ryback grabbed Show’s wrist to try and whip him, but Show planted his mighty feet and no sold. Ryback pulled again, but again Show avoided. Paul Wight now flung Ryback into the corner. The man once known as Giant charged the corner, but Ryback threw his tree trunk like leg in the air and connected with his face. Show staggered, so Ryback charged, Show grabbed him and scoop slammed him down to the ground. Show walked over to the corner now as Ryback writhed around on the ring. Show climbed up the first turnbuckle, then the second, Ryback rushed to his feet and grabbed his 500 lbs opponent. Ryback in an amazing feat of strength was able to hoist Show backwards and slam him down against the canvas.
Jerry Lawler: Did you see that JR?!
Jim Ross: Not many men I know could lift someone the size of Big Show.
Jerry Lawler: Yeah, not many men anywhere that could.
Ryback began to march around the ring. The crowd booed emphatically. Ryback placed one boot on the chest of Big Show. 1...2... kickout. Ryback dropped to his knees and began reigning down blows upon one of the few men in the history larger than he was. One after another. Boom-boom-boom. Finally the ref tried to get Ryback off Show. Ryback began to argue with the ref, meanwhile Show was able to slowly rise to his feet. The crowd’s anticipation rose as Big Show cocked back his One Punch KO hand in a fist. Ryback, continuing to argue with the ref was unaware of the mammoth blow waiting for him. Big Show grabbed Ryback’s shoulder and turned him around. He swung, Ryback ducked. Ryback hit the ropes and came back with a huge big boot all the way up to Big Show’s head as he bent over thinking he might duck a lariat. Big Show wandered around stunned and dazed. Ryback grabbed him around the neck, and unbelievably lifted him into the air in a Cradle Suplex fashion. He marched with the world’s largest athlete on his shoulders.
Jim Ross: OH MY WORD!
Jerry Lawler: JR! JR! He’s – he’s – he’s lifted the Big Show and is carrying him!
CRASH! He finished with the Shell Shock. The ref counted. 1... 2... 3!
Jim Ross: I never thought I’d live to see the day.
Jerry Lawler: This Ryback is something else. A freak of nature!
MATCH THREE
"Cool" by Jim Johnston hit and Carlito came out to boos from the crowd. After Carlito had entered the ring, "Superbeast" by Rob Zombie hit and the crowd continued to boo as Leo Kruger made his way to the ring.
Jim Ross: And here comes the defending champion, Leo Kruger, who has held the Breakout Title for more than five months. Kruger has had an impressive career in the EBWF thus far, and Carlito is going to need to be on top of his game tonight in order to walk away with the gold.
Upon entering the ring, Kruger posed with the title belt, who held it up before taking it out of the ring and calling for the bell. Kruger wasted no time getting started, taking Carlito down with a stiff clothesline. Kruger stomped on Carlito repeatedly, then pulled him to his feet and hit a series of right hands. Kruger whipped Carlito against the ropes, before hitting a spinebuster. Carlito cried out in pain and Kruger hit a knee drop to the face, then made the cover. The referee counted - 1... 2... kickout! Kruger pulled Carlito to his feet and whipped him in the corner, then charged towards him. Carlito got his knees up and Kruger ran right into them. As Kruger staggered backwards, Carlito climbed to the top rope, then jumped off the turnbuckle and hit Kruger with a dropkick. Both men got to their feet and Carlito hit a snap swinging neckbreaker, then hooked the leg. The referee counted - 1... 2... kickout!
Jerry Lawler: Another near fall!
Carlito pulled Kruger to his feet and hit a series of right hands, then whipped him against the ropes. As Kruger hit the ropes, Carlito ran towards him, hitting a Japanese arm drag. Both men got to their feet and Carlito jumped on Kruger's shoulders, attempting a hurricanrana. Kruger blocked it and countered with a powerbomb, then hooked the leg. The referee counted - 1... 2... kickout! Kruger pulled Carlito to his feet and applied a hammerlock, then hit him with a suplex. Kruger then applied a single-leg Boston crab, but Carlito got to the ropes and the referee forced Kruger to break the hold. Kruger stepped back, allowing Carlito time to stand. Carlito used the ropes to pull himself to his feet and Kruger ran towards him. Carlito reacted quickly, pulling down the ropes and causing Kruger to fall to the outside. As Kruger got to his feet, Carlito pulled himself over the top rope, leaping towards Kruger and hitting a crossbody!
Jim Ross: What a move!
Both men were down outside the ring, and the referee began counting. 1... 2... 3... on the count of four, Carlito got to his feet and threw Kruger back into the ring. Carlito then re-entered the ring, and got behind Kruger. He attempted the Back Stabber, but Kruger turned around and hit a stiff European uppercut, knocking Carlito down onto the mat.
Jerry Lawler: What a hit, JR! That might have knocked Carlito out cold!
Kruger pulled Carlito to his feet and lifted him over his shoulder, hitting a gutbuster drop. Kruger then applied the GC3 and Carlito quickly tapped out.
Jim Ross: It's over! Tremendous effort from Carlito, but Kruger retains.
The referee called for the bell and raised Kruger's arm in victory, handing him the Breakout Title. Kruger celebrated his win as Warfare went to a commercial break.
MATCH FOUR
As Warfare returned to the air, Chris Sabin was entering the ring. He posed on the middle turnbuckle for the fans before hopping down, awaiting his opponent.
Jim Ross: The last time we saw Chris Sabin, he had his chance to once again become PTG Champion taken away from as The Shield attacked him and then champion Damien Sandow before the match could begin. A win here tonight could get him back into the title picture.
"Requiem for a Dream" brought Cody Rhodes down to the ring and he seemed to be all business as he stared down Sabin, waiting for the bell to sound.
Jerry Lawler: Cody Rhodes is the number one contender to John Cena's IC Title and he's been on a roll as of late. We'll have to see if he can keep that momentum going against Chris Sabin.
Rhodes stepped towards Sabin and face palmed him away with a sneer on his face. Sabin responded with a few right hands that knocked Cody to the mat. Rhodes rolled out of the ring, holding his face as his scowl grew bigger but Sabin quickly took to the sky with a suicide dive!
Jim Ross: Leap of faith by Chris Sabin! I think he realizes how big of a win this could be!
Jerry Lawler: Cody Rhodes is a former World Champion and this would be huge for his career!
Sabin tossed Cody back into the ring and connected with a springboard legdrop for a two count. Sabin didn't relent as he caught Cody in a Crucifix for a second pinning predicament that once again saw Rhodes kick out at two. After a kick to the stomach, Sabin nailed a Springboard Tornado DDT and got himself a third two count.
Jerry Lawler: I don't think Cody was prepared for Sabin to bring this much of a fight!
Sabin continued his momentum by placing Cody in the Tree of Woe in the corner. A hesitation dropkick followed that connected square to the face and left Rhodes slumped in the ring. Sabin pumped up the crowd to a round of applause but Cody was rising back up, holding his face with an intense look in his eyes.
Jim Ross: I don't think there's anyone who likes being hit in the face but the well groomed Cody Rhodes seems to detest it more than most..
When Sabin turned around, Cody nearly took his head off with a clothesline. He began to pull Sabin up but he pushed away and went for a step-up Enziguri. Cody managed to duck and quickly followed up by stomping Sabin's surgically repaired knee. Sabin dropped to his good knee and clutched the offending one. While Sabin was kneeling, Cody used the ropes to connect with a Disaster Kick square to the side of his opponents head!
Jerry Lawler: Just a few very precise moves and Cody has this match in his control.
Looking at Sabin with disdain, Cody hauled his foe to his feet and dropped him right back down with a particularly harsh Cross Rhodes. An academic three count followed.
Jim Ross: Cody Rhodes continues on towards his match with John Cena with a win over Chris Sabin tonight.
Cody stood with his arm raised, rubbing his face while glaring down at Sabin's prone body.
SEGMENT
The camera cut to the backstage area, where Chris Jericho was sat working in his office. There was a knock on the door, and Jericho looked up.
Chris Jericho: Come in.
The door opened, and Stephanie McMahon entered. Jericho got to his feet to greet her.
Chris Jericho: Hey, Steph. What's up?
Stephanie McMahon: I just heard from the Board about the vote on Wes...
Jericho's eyebrows raised with intrigue.
Chris Jericho: ...And?
Stephanie McMahon: They couldn't reach a decision. They've requested a continuance, and assured me they'll make their decision before next week's Warfare.
Chris Jericho: A continuance? It's not a trial, Stephanie... it's a decision on the future of this company. Tell them they'd better make their decision by Monday, or heads will roll.
Stephanie nodded, and made her exit. Jericho sat down, shaking his head as he got back to work.
MATCH FIVE
Sierra. Hotel. India. Echo. Lima. Delta. SHIELD.
The fans were on their feet booing loudly as Seth Rollins appeared in the crowd being flanked by his Shield allies Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns. Rollins entered the ring and anticipated his opponent. Suddenly the fans were cheering as one half of Rated RKO's music played over the sound system. The Rated R Superstar Edge made his way to the ring with one half of the Tag Team Championships over his shoulder.
Jim Ross: Edge out here alone tonight. Let's hope the rest of the Shield doesn't make their presence felt here tonight.
Edge entered the ring and circled Rollins, keeping a eye on the two men at ringside. The bell rang and the two began trading blows with one another. Edge got the upper hand on Rollins and delivered a flurry of punches before giving Rollins a clothesline that took him out the ring. Edge didn't waste any time as he slid out the ring and began laying the boots to Rollins. Roman Reigns attempted to rush Edge but he side stepped, sending the huge Samoan into the ring steps.
Jim Ross: Edge is out here taking it to the Shield!
Jerry Lawler: Don't speak to fast JR...
The referee was distracted with the mayhem at ringside. Edge tried to climb into the ring but didn't see Dean Ambrose come from the side with a swift Knee Trembler that knocked the Rated R superstar senseless. Ambrose exited the ring cleverly and watched on as Rollins was now in the ring pummeling Edge with punches. Rollins the went on a flurry of offense with a suplex, followed by a drop kick, and ending with a diving knee thrust from the top rope that left Edge in a heap on the mat.
Jim Ross: This match has turned around in the favor of Seth Rollins.
Rollins was still on the offensive applying a rear chin lock to Edge. He wouldn't give up when the referee asked him and with the fans cheering him on Edge made it to his feet. He broke the submission hold with a big back drop that left both men lying in the ring. The referee began a ten count but both men made it to their feet early. Rollins charged at Edge with a head of steam and got caught with the Spear in the middle of the ring.
Jerry Lawler: Spear by Edge!! That could be it.
It looked like Edge had been exhausted and as he rolled onto Rollins for a pin it was quickly countered into a backslid pin and the referee counted Edge's shoulders to the mat for the three count.
Jim Ross: Seth Rollins just outsmarted the veteran Edge and stole one here tonight.
Jerry Lawler: Look out Edge!
Edge was barley to his feet and was met with a vicious Spear from Roman Reigns that turned him inside out. It was lights out for Edge as the three members of the Shield laid waste to him in the center of the ring. It wasn't long before Edge's fate was met with a ring shaking Triple Powerbomb and the Shield standing over his body.
Jim Ross: That has to be a direct message to the World Champion Randy Orton.
Warfare went to commercial break.
MATCH SIX
Jim Ross: And finally our main event... AJ Styles takes on Kevin Nash in watches sure to be a slobberknocker!
"Evil Ways" by Blues Saraceno hit and the crowd booed as Styles made his way to the ring, accompanied. Styles looked angry as always, while Heyman wore a smug expression on his face as he made his way down the ramp. After Styles and Heyman had reached the ring, "S.C.O.M." by Fort Major hit and the crowd cheered as Kevin Nash stepped out onto the stage, alongside Syxx. Nash and Syxx walked down the ramp side by side, and at the bottom of the ramp they posed before Nash entered the ring. Nash and Styles glared at one another and stared each other down, with Nash towering over Styles as the two men moved closer together.
Jerry Lawler: JR, when you look at the difference in size between these two men, you can't help but think that Kevin Nash has the advantage...
Jim Ross: Size isn't everything, King! Nash might be the bigger superstar, but given the ruthless aggression that AJ has shown over the past few months, I wouldn't count him out!
The referee called for the bell and Nash and Styles exchanged right hands back and forth, with Nash gaining the upper hand. Nash went to whip Styles into the ropes, but Styles reversed it, sending Nash into the ropes before hitting a dropkick. Both men got to their feet and Styles kicked Nash in the stomach, then hit a DDT. He ran against the ropes and hit Nash with a leg drop, then sat him up and applied a sleeper hold. Heyman and Syxx both shouted words of encouragement at ringside as Styles tightened the hold. Just when it seemed as though Nash was going to lose consciousness, Big Daddy Cool fought back, hitting Styles with an elbow smash and forcing him to break the hold. Both men got to their feet and Styles ran towards Nash, but Nash reacted quickly, getting his leg up and taking Styles down with a big boot. Styles got back to his feet and Nash grabbed him, hitting a body slam before hooking the leg. The referee counted - 1... 2... kickout! Nash pulled Styles to his feet and hit him with some more right hands, then whipped him into the corner. Nash ran at Styles and attempted a corner bodypress, but Styles moved out of the way, causing Nash to collide with the turnbuckles. As Nash clutched his chest in pain, Styles slammed him head-first against the top turnbuckle, then lifted him up for a back drop. Styles climbed to the top rope and hit a moonsault, then hooked the leg. The referee counted - 1... 2... kickout!
Jerry Lawler: Another near fall!
Styles pulled Nash away from the ropes and went to apply a Boston crab, but Nash fought back and kicked him away. Nash got to his feet and he and Styles exchanged right hands once more, but this time Styles gained the upper hand. After hitting several punches, Styles turned Nash around and lifted him up for a belly-to-back suplex. Styles then grabbed Nash by the leg and applied the Calf Killer! Nash cried out in pain and after realizing he was unable to break the hold, he tapped out. The referee called for the bell, but Styles refused to break the hold!
Jim Ross: This is a disgrace, King! AJ has won the match but he's more interested in trying to sideline Kevin Nash!
After the referee tried unsuccessfully to break the hold, Syxx decided he'd had enough and entered the ring. Heyman followed Syxx into the ring, and tried to attack Syxx from behind. Heyman attempted a low blow, but Syxx was ready for him, and turned around to find Heyman on his knees. Suddenly afraid, Heyman begged for mercy, but Syxx grabbed him around the neck and pulled him to his feet. Just as Syxx was about to clobber Heyman, Styles intervened, attacking Syxx from behind before turning him around and hitting an over-the-shoulder back-to-belly piledriver. With both Syxx and Nash laid out, Heyman grabbed the PTG Title and handed it to Styles. Styles stood over Syxx and Nash, holding his title belt up and celebrating with Heyman as Warfare went off the air.
