Carlito legal woes

EBWF’s rising star Carlito Colon seems to have made the mistake of biting the hand that once fed him. An inside source has informed PWI that a cease and desist letter has been sent to the offices of EBWF by the one and only Vincent K. McMahon. The order claims that the name “Carlito Caribbean Cool”, his current gimmick, and well known entrance music are all creative property of World Wrestling Entertainment. In recent tweets Carlito was seen flashing a handful of cash, hinting at the rumors that the WWE had offered him a pretty penny to make his return very clear. The shared twitter photo also made a clear statement that Money was never the issue in the complicated relationship between himself and the giant wrestling organization.

With Carlito choosing the EBWF over WWE and making it a public display, (thanks to twitter) Mr. McMahon seems to be holding a grudge with the Puerto Rican sensation. A letter was immediately sent to the EBWF headquarters stating that if the EBWF didn’t bring the Carlito Caribbean Cool name and WWE’s creative development to a screeching halt legal action would be taken. Carlito and the EBWF are unable to continue using the creative workings of the Carlito Caribbean Cool character and with his steadily increasing popularity it will be interesting to see how Carlito and the EBWF creative team will work their way out of this legal mess.

When contacted for further details neither the EBWF or Carlito had any comments on the situation. Will Carlito be able to continue his rise of success after these latest developments? and exactly how will he do it? We at Pro Wrestling Insider will keep you posted!

1. They might have Trademarked the "Caribbean Cool", but his name is Carlos... I'm no lawyer, but I think he might be able to wrestle as Carlito.
2. For once, I'm glad about the theme music: His WWE theme is fucking stupid... Give him something from Puerto Rico:
