The members of The Shield all seemed to have clear and precise reasons for what they do. Dean Ambrose had shined some light on his past prior to becoming a professional wrestler from time to time. Roman Reigns has stated that despising his family and it's rich wrestling heritage fuels him. But the third member's motives were a bit more of a mystery. Seth Rollins simply seemed to enjoy causing misery and despair.

A promo package for this week's Warfare suddenly went completely black as if the viewers television or monitor had suddenly died. That was until a silhouette appeared amongst all of the darkness.

Seth Rollins: ...I will be experimentee and experimenter in a forbidden but amazing body alteration process...

Although the voice and body shape were unmistakable the picture began to become a bit more clear.

Seth Rollins: Everyone will get to witness Brodus Clay's departure into a new realm...the moment of a new birth!

There was a close up on one of Rollins' eye's.

Seth Rollins: From the chosen day forth, Brodus will walk a completely different path in life.

That same eye suddenly grew very large.

Seth Rollins: And I'm going to share this glorious occasion, this memorable day, with all of you!

The camera was now focused on the lower portion of his jaw. Specifically his mouth which had curled into a strange, crooked smile.

Seth Rollins: Everyone loves Brodus Clay when comes out and dances. But as soon as he's done they just forget all about him and throw him away. A giant clown for their amusement. He must be so tired of who he is. This is where I come in. First we're going to see how badly I can hurt him until those two leeches that follow him down to the ring begin to scream and cry. Then we can move onto step two. We find out how much Brodus can take until those exact same emotions go washing over him. At that point fear will begin to strangle him, suffocating him until any semblance he had of his former self is completely erased. And then, and only then, will his suffering end. ..Don't miss it.

With that the screen went black without warning.
