OOC: The rp for CEOD, and my debut in the EBWF. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Good luck Cat and Nick!
The camera focused on a little girl who was hopping up and down in pure joy as a woman was seen strutting down the lane formed by eager fans, many of which were cheering and whistling.
Little Girl: Momma, momma it's her! It's really her!
She squealed, a large grin plastered on her face which was rosy with excitement. The shirt she had worn was black with white stencil lettering that clearly said "Paige" in capital letters. In the background was one of the many former woman's champions logos: a blue rose.
The approaching diva's red, wide-brimmed hood of her zip-up jacket and shades with diamond bedazzled edges had hidden much of her face as she knelt down in front of the girl, a smile on her face. A few long blonde locks of hair flowed out from her hood, dangling just past her shoulder. It was a sight to see considering the event was indoors, and this woman was wearing sunglasses and the hood of her jacket was up.
EBWF Diva: Hey little girl, do you know who I am? she asked sweetly, smiling at the child.
Little Girl: Of course I do! You're Michelle McCool! I think you're sooooo cool!
The girl's statement made Michelle smile.
Michelle: Thank you! And what's your name?
Little Girl: My name is Emily. I love you and I love EBWF!
The camera caught the roar of approval from the crowd as little Emily spoke, but maintained focus on the scene with her and Michelle. The diva was still smiling at the precious moment, but at the same time was shaking her head, then looked down to the floor for a few moments as if in disapproval before her eyes met the little girls again.
Michelle: Well... Emily. I see you're wearing a shirt for Paige. Do you like her, too?
She pointed at the little girls t-shirt, right at her heart, where the logo and name were depicted. She pulled her shades down slightly while she looked down, her icy blue eyes reading the print over, then rolling back up to look at the child. She pulled her shades back snug to her face. Her smile was now faint across her lips, no longer showing her brightly white teeth in genuine excitement as before.
Emily: Mhmm! I think she's cool, too! She can kick butt!
Michelle's eyebrows rose behind her glasses and she nodded in fake agreement, a slight frown now forming.
Michelle: Can I tell you a secret, Emily?
The child nodded energetically, her mother grasping excitedly onto her precious daughter's shoulders as she too listened in on the entire exchange. She was just as much a part of this picture perfect moment as her six year old. McCool let out a sigh and shrugged.
Michelle: Paige sucks. And if you're a big girl, you'd know that. Big girls only like Michelle McCool. Are you a big girl, Emily?
The poor child seemed a little confused, and her eyes began to glaze over, slightly welling up. Words were trapped inside of her tiny body, unable to escape.
Michelle: I hope you are! But by the way you're praising Paige, I doubt it. You're probably a fan of Torrie Wilson, too. Right? Well, that's a shame! Maybe you'll change your mind after I whoop those two wannabes in my match. Ugh.
She stood up straight, removing her hood but leaving her shades on, and dramatically flipped her platinum blonde hair back. It was straightened to perfection, and flowed midway down her back. Her head was held up a little above the horizon in arrogant fashion as she continued her catwalk down the parted crowded, where some were now booing at her blatantly rude outburst. But she didn't seem to care. At this point the camera had cut back to the little 6 year old Emily, who was crying and red faced as her mother turned her around and picked her up, cradling her, a look of bewilderment on her face at what just occurred.
------------------------------
Sometime later another camera panned back to Michelle, who was just arriving at an area clearly set up as an interview space. Off camera and just in front of the barricaded area, a crowd had gathered behind a taped off perimeter and was waiting intently, some with hand-held cameras, some with mics, and some with digital recorders; other fans just eager to hear what the recently signed diva had to say. Before the cameras started rolling, Matt Striker took his place next to Michelle as she unzipped her red jacket, showing off her toned torso, her upper half and chest covered by a white midriff shirt. Her long legs seemed like they went on forever. The skin tight black leggings dove into black moccasin boots that climbed up just below her knees. She then slowly removed her sunglasses from her beautiful face which was framed just the right way by her hair, and held them out to Striker, assuming he would take them. He looked confused at the diva, but was brought back to the moment when the camera man broke the silence.
"Rolling in Three... Two.." And on the last count he motioned at the two silently, declaring the start of the segment and Striker hurriedly took the accessory in his hand, expertly looked into the camera with a handsome smile, and addressed the audience.
Striker: Welcome to one of the many backstage access events to EBWF's 2013 Christmas Eve of Destruction Pay Per View, hosted by Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis! I'm here with Michelle McCool, who just recently signed a contract with the EBWF! She is at this moment an active member of the roster, and will make her debut at the pay per view in a 3 Way Miracle on 34th Street match against two former women's champions, Torrie Wilson and Paige! Michelle, are you prepared for your match?
She let out a scoff and rolled her eyes at his question, which was obviously pointless to ask.
Michelle: You're asking me like I've never done this in my life, Matt. Are you serious? Of course I'm ready! I'm a PROFESSIONAL. P-r-o. Get it? Just because I have to take on two opponents at once doesn't mean I can't handle myself. I mean, look at me, I'm great at what I do, and I look great at what I do, too. Not that many people are blessed like me. Just look at Paige and Torrie... God help them. Bird shit and plastic. A complete disaster is what those two are. Even a Christmas miracle smack dab in the face couldn't help either of them, let alone save their lost souls.
Striker looked a little offended but nodded as he listened to what McCool was saying. He held up his cue card in his hand and opened his mouth to ask another question, but he was cut off as the camera panned to Michelle again.
Michelle: I mean, Torrie Wilson does look good, but she couldn't roll her way out of bed even if the sheets were made of paper. Like I said, she's not lucky enough to be talented and beautiful, like myself.
She'd pointed to herself as she said this and wore a smile across her face, as she looked off into the distance, silently admiring herself, conceit radiating from her.
Striker: Ok, well wha--
He was cut off. The self-absorbed diva had returned her focus to Matt and went on with her rant.
Michelle: And don't even get me started on that goth garbage Paige. Black hair and pasty skin? Are you kidding me? HA! Come on! That's a sorry excuse of entertainment. I don't even know if I can safely say she has talent because she just looks that rowdy. Honestly, there are too many divas here that contradict themselves, Matt! They're ass-backwards. I'm gonna drop Missy Pissy Paige and that has been, or better yet NEVER WILL BE, Torrie like the loose change they are! Both of those girls are worthless.
She brushed some of her hair off her shoulder, flipping it back in annoyance as she sneered while expressing herself. Matt was holding the microphone in her direction, his eyebrows raised. He had occasionally peered at the camera then back to Michelle during her monologue as she dragged on.
Striker: I see you're very confident Michelle, maybe even a little arrogant? What are your goals in the EBWF?
With a chuckle, Michelle placed both hands on her hips and smirked, easily shooting back a reply.
Michelle: Of course I'm confident! Just look at me! Body of a goddess, the intellect of a genius, a silver tongue, not to mention self-made athletic prowess. Everything I've done this far to get here is by my own hand, and I won't let biker bum look-a-likes and Barbie dolls take ANYTHING from me! How could someone that's almost an entire decade older than me stand a chance? How can a mentally unstable priss that mopes around after losing a title hang on in the company? Those shouldn't be qualities of former "champions." Pretty soon I'll be getting MY shot at the title and I will be running things around here. Take note ladies, because Michelle McCool has arrived. There's no sidestepping me; you either get in my way and face me or fall back on your flat asses and get a front row seat to the show. Ya wanna know why, Matty?
She tilted her head slightly to the side as she turned the tables, asking the interviewer the question instead, a sly smile on her lips. Striker shook his head, not knowing what was going to happen next.
Striker: Why, Michelle?
At the asking of "his" question, Michelle took a few steps forward and reached towards Matt's hand where he was holding her flashy sunglasses, and took them back gently as she brought them up to her chin, waiting to put them back on. She was smiling greatly, her eyes bright with energy, staring into his and then looked into the camera.
Michelle: Because I'm the best, and nothing less.
After her last statement she carefully put on her glasses and turned on her heel and waltzed off, leaving a trail of silence behind her as the camera followed her off the set before panning back to Matt Striker. He had a surprised yet amazed expression on his face at what had just occurred.
Striker: There you have it everyone, some words from the newest diva of EBWF, Michelle McCool. You'll catch her again at Christmas Eve of Destruction in a Miracle on 34th street fight against Torrie Wilson and Paige. Stay tuned for more backstage access!
