OOC: Good Luck Dohko!

"Sit down and be quiet, your father is about be on!"
A woman spoke loudly to the three boys who played around in the living room area. She turned on the Sirus Satellite radio that sat above a blazing fireplace. The woman was middle aged red head who wore the finest things money could buy. The living room was big and the three boys sat on a elegant sofa along with their mother. The radio began playing a short musical intro before the host came in to begin the show.
Mad Max: Welcome to Maximum Madness and I'm your host Mad Max! Today we have probably the biggest guest ever and he's here today to promote the EBWF's Royal Rumble pay per view which is this Sunday night at the US Cellular arena. Sunday night this man will step into the ring and put his 16 year wrestling career on the line for one final shot at the EBWF World Championship. He is know around the world as The Phenomenal One... AJ Styles!
AJ Styles: I'm the man..
Mad Max: You most definitely are! Thanks again for stopping by and welcome to the show. Today we are going to talk about your storybook career, your upcoming match against Trent Question-Mark, and then we are going to go to the callers for a little Q&A.
AJ Styles: That's cool. I'm glad to be here. Let's do this.
Mad Max: Great! First, let's talk about the current EBWF World Champion Trent Question-Mark. It's a known fact that the two of you are friends. How do feel about the current situation where Trent is all of a sudden the heel and your playing the role of the face?
AJ Styles: Its going to be really interesting because that's what you think, but nobody actually knows where I stand. Firing Paul Heyman seemed like a turn, but in actuality the only way to find out is to stay tuned. As for Trent, I've always loved his work, but as a performer and a fan I have to be honest. Do you mind?
Mad Max: No, go right ahead tell it like it is.
AJ Styles: Trent Question-Mark is being shoved down our throats. People are suppose to believe that he is a credible champion? Hell, he wasn't even a credible challenger when he faced Randy Orton. There was absolutely no build up for the match. When I faced Orton at Survivor Series it took months for me to be pushed back into the main event scene, all after feuding with top tier guys like Chris Jericho and Syxx. I was a threat.
Mad Max: So can I ask why you didn't win the championship in favor of Trent? Is it anything to do with your contract.
AJ Styles: It has a lot to do with that. I joined the EBWF on December 23, 2010 with a three year agreement. There was no guarantee that I would be sticking around since we still haven't come to terms on an agreement and right now I'm on an extension so if things play out the way I'd like I could be enjoying another reign as World Champion along with a nice contract to go along with it. Trent is going to be around for a while so I think they went the safe route by making him champion.
Mad Max: Have you had any intent on retirement?
AJ Styles: Not yet. I'm 36 years old and I can still go almost better than I did ten years ago. If you get a chance to catch my match this Sunday, which could be my final match in the EBWF, you're guaranteed a match that you'll be talking about for the next few years. Trent is an amazing performer and we have worked together in a few occasions. This match will be special to me because I get to wrestle a guy I consider a friend and it's for the richest prize in the industry. The Royal Rumble match is going to be good but our match is going to steal the show.
Mad Max: I heard you say "last match in the EBWF." Does that imply that your open to return to TNA or Ring of Honor? What about a debut in WWE?
AJ Styles: You caught that? Yeah, I'm open to wrestle anywhere. Like I said, I have no intentions on retiring and if I can't compete in the EBWF then I will have no other choice but to take my talents elsewhere. There was a ton of controversy over a handful of EBWF superstars that jumped ship to WWE. You never know what can happen. I could be there, I could be anywhere. You just have to order the Royal Rumble to find out.
Mad Max: Is there anybody that you would like to work with in one of those other companies?
AJ Styles: Being in the EBWF I've wrestled some of the best wrestlers in the world. From John Cena, CM Punk, and Randy Orton, to Daniel Bryan, Justin Gabriel, and Kevin Nash. I've faced almost everyone there is to face in TNA, ROH, and a lot of the guys in WWE are kinda green so I don't know. I would like to wrestle Undertaker. I think that would be cool.
Mad Max: Any one in the EBWF that you would like to work with if you stuck around.
AJ Styles: Hell yeah there is! You have Edge, Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Alex Shelly, Shannon Moore, Gregory Helms. I'd love to work with either of those guys. I wouldn't mind working another program with Randy Orton because I felt like we had so much more to offer.
Mad Max: The submission match you two had a few months ago was brutal and some people consider it the most technical match of the year. How do you prepare for a match like that compared to your match up this Sunday?
AJ Styles: Well, Randy Orton and Trent Question-Mark are two totally different people. When I was preparing for the submission match I did a lot of training. I worked alongside CM Punk doing MMA. I took advise from the deranged Brian Kendrick. I went over the edge. This time I'm keeping it simple. I'm still training just as hard, but this time I'm not as worried as I was then. I'm at peace with whatever happens this Sunday. This is the culmination of a unperfected profession and I have absolutely no regrets.
Mad Max: That's awesome. Let's take a few minutes to get a few callers on the line. I'm sure everyone would like a shot at you right now.
AJ Styles: Go for it!
Mad Max: Caller #1 you're live on the air with Mad Max and Maximum Madness!
Caller #1: Yo AJ! This Little T from New York and I just wanna say, you got mad skills son. Good luck in yo match, B. I was wondering, what's yo favorite moment and match in yo career?
AJ Styles: Yo T, thanks son. I would have to say my favorite moment would be back in TNA when I won the X Division Championship. I wrestled my ass off that night and I won. That was probably the moment that made TNA worth investing in. It was so inspiring having Rickey Steamboat raise my hand in victory. As far as my favorite match, it would probably be in the EBWF at WrestleMania 12 against The Miz. We both worked so hard to get there and it was a match we both put 100% of ourselves into. I think we both will always be proud of that match.
Mad Max: Next caller you're on the line.
Caller #2: Hey AJ, I'm Allison from Milwaukee. I know you couldn't last longer than Randy Orton but I was wondering if you could last longer than Trent?
AJ Styles: Ha. I don't know how to answer that question but I'm pretty sure I can last longer than Trent? In whatever way you were referring to!
Mad Max: Next caller!
Caller #3: This is Brad from Clevland. AJ, please don't leave EBWF. If they lose you then the ship will most definitely be sinking. You're the most consistent superstar on television and I'm pretty sure you've wrestled more times this year than any other superstar. I don't want to see you go. If you do win the belt, who would you like to win the Royal Rumble and face at WrestleMania?
AJ Styles: Thanks Brad. I don't want to go. I wouldn't mind wrestling Wes Ikeda. But like I said before, tune in this Sunday to find out.
Mad Max: Let's get one final caller on the line.
Caller #4: Hi, my name is... Umm.. Pam and I'm from... Umm... Winchestertonfieldville...
AJ Styles: Go ahead, Umm Pam.
Caller #4: Are you still dating that bitch Trish Stratus?
AJ Styles: Excuse me. I don't think she's a bitch. You're pretty blunt aren't you. Anyway to answer your question lets just say, that as of this Sunday I'm officially a free agent.
Mad Max: I see what you did there. Nice one. Well folks, that's all the time I have and I have to go. I would like to thank AJ Styles for joining us. Order the EBWF Royal Rumble this Sunday to see what happens live only on pay per view. I'm Mad Max, catch me next time on Maximum Madness!
The radio broadcast ended and the woman stood in front of the fireplace with her phone in her hand. Obviously she was the last person to call in and was none other than the mother of AJ Styles' children. His ex-wife, the notorious gold digger, Wendy Jones. She looked upon her three sons who had fallen asleep during the show and shook her head before joining them on the couch once again.

AJ Styles was a word class athlete, but he had issues. A lot like everyone else did. He enjoyed smoking pot. He didn't see a thing wrong with it. He was smoking a spliff as we spoke, sitting outside on his patio. The home he lived in was lavish and on the outskirts of town so there were no other homes in a distance. The sun was just setting and Styles knew he would have to catch a plane in a few hours time. Taking a long drag and exhaling slowly Styles looked along his iPhone 5. His phone was full of text messages that he had yet to reply to. Trish wanted to know what he meant by "Free Agent". Stephanie McMahon wanted him to call her ASAP. Her father Vince McMahon wanted to meet again and Dixie Carter had left a few messages about him returning to TNA. Styles chose to stay silent and away from everyone during his final hours alone. This Sunday would be very huge for him. Not only was his job on the line. His legacy was also in jeopardy. He didn't know if Wes Ikeda wanted to keep him around. He was still waiting to hear back from him on the terms of a new agreement. If there was one. Styles didn't even negotiate with anyone else because his heart was set on staying in the EBWF despite saying during a interview that he was open to wrestle elsewhere. AJ Styles loved the EBWF. That was his home now and he didn't want to leave. If they didn't come to some kind of agreement soon he would be spending a lot of time in the place he called home. A place he had been only a handful of times over the years. He dreaded it. It was so lonely out there. A big home with no one to share it with. He didn't have too many friends these days either. His friends from back in TNA no longer kept in contact. Samoa Joe, Christopher Daniels, Frankie Kazarian the three guys he considered his best friends had exiled him from the inner circle. Styles was probably the most successful wrestler from TNA to jump over to EBWF and succeed. The guys hated him for that.
The spliff midway through AJ was now really relaxed. Taking a sip from a cup of coffee he began scrolling through his contact list. The friends he had made during his time in EBWF weren't really around anymore either. Miz was off being best friends with John Cena. Ted DiBiase and AJ never really seen eye to eye, and Trent? Trent was off doing his own thing. He was head over heels in love with one of the many woman AJ use to mess around with. Maybe that was the reason they stopped hanging out. AJ had a lot of women on the road. A lot of rats. A lot of good women. He still couldn't feel the emptiness inside him. He couldn't tell you the last time he had slept with Trish, his "girlfriend". It wasn't about the sex. They hadn't spent any quality time with one another in a while and the separation began to drive a wedge in between their relationship. Then again, it was about the sex. AJ Styles is a man before anything else. He wanted to fuck his woman passionately and release his pent up anxiety.
Putting the end of the spliff out in a ashtray full of other previously smoked spliffs, Styles finished his coffee and locked the screen on his phone. He couldn't help but to think about the outcome the Royal Rumble. This was one of the most unpredictable event in his life and he was beginning to feel a sense of paranoia kick in or maybe that was just the marijuana in his bloodstream.
Either way he was now alert. Impatient all of a sudden, with sweaty palms AJ unlocked his iPhone again and began making the call to Wes Ikeda. He could not wait any longer.

AJ Styles had become use to being in a graveyard over the past few months. Using the scenery in his past few promos it was rather ironic this time, seeing as his livelihood would actually be on the line this time.
AJ Styles: Trent Question-Mark... What a stupid name!
Walking up towards the camera with a shovel in his hand Styles wore a different attire this time. Instead of his usual all black get up, this time he was dressed in all white looking like a USDA inspector.
AJ Styles: Everything about you is pathetic. The simple fact that you are the EBWF World Champion is a complete joke. I bet Randy and Wes were sitting across the table on Christmas laughing their ass off at the joke the pulled on everyone. That was almost as bad as the finger poke of doom. A fucking disgrace. Trent you've been riding this wave of luck for the past few months. You got lucky when you beat me for the money in the bank and you were even luckier when you actually managed to beat Randy Orton. You're welcome by the way. If it wasn't for the continuous ass beatings I gave to Orton you probably wouldn't of stood a chance. But I digress. You think you've actually proved something. Sorry, you haven't proved a damn thing. Just because you attack Zack Ryder and start dressing like the Undertaker it doesn't make you tough. Zack Ryder couldn't carry my fucking jockstrap and wither you like it or not you couldn't either. You're beneath me Trent! You're not a main event player! You're not a World Champion! You're a fucking fluke!
The ton in his voice changed drastically.
AJ Styles: I'm the real damn deal, Trent. There's no doubt about it. No games. No fun. Just pain and punishment and believe me BUDDY you're in store for a lot of it! I've been waiting so long for this match. We finally get to settle this one on one. The last time we met we ended the match in a draw. I made you squeal and tap out, but the referee claims my shoulders were on the mat. I finally get to right that wrong. After that match I shook your hand Trent and then you were attacked by Daniel Bryan. The funny thing is I wasn't showing you respect. In fact, if Bryan would've never attacked you, I probably would have! I don't like you Trent. I don't respect you. That's why I decided to out my career on the line. If I can't beat you, I don't deserve to be here! I've been a wrestler for sixteen years now and I've face the best in the world. I'm better than the best in the world because I'm the greatest wrestler in the galaxy. There is a reason I'm wearing white right now. It's because I want my gimmick back. So go ahead and throw all the dirt on my name you want to, when it's all said and done there won't be a stain on me.
Styles dusted off his shoulders.
AJ Styles: When I cashed in the Path to Glory Championship everyone believed I was putting it all on the line. That was nothing. This time EVERYTHING is on the line. All that I've ever worked for is riding on this one match and Trent I'm not underestimating your ability. I just know how good I am and what I'm willing to do to win this match. You will literally have to bury me alive if you want to end my career and then, ONLY THEN, will you deserve that championship. A wise man once said to be the man you have to beat the man. I'M THE MAN!
Styles was very intense and each word that followed was just as intense.
AJ Styles: I've traveled the word more time than I can count. I've wined and dined with Kings and Queens. I've slept in the slums with the bums. I've been with more woman than CM Punk. I've been the Path to Glory Champion. I've been Tag Team Champion in the sequel. The sequel to the Trilogy, a stable that dominated the EBWF. I've put people through glass tables, I've been out through a glass table. I won the Intercontinental Championship. Kevin Nash made me his lackey for a little cash. I beat twenty nine other men in the Royal Rumble. Made a sex tape. That was fun. Been in more cage and ladder matches than I can remember. I've bled in every arena in the world. I've been a Paul Heyman guy. Wrestled at a fairground for 500 people and I've wrestled in the main event at WrestleMania in front of 50,000 people. Through all the trials and tribulation I became the EBWF World Champion and this Sunday I will do it again. Trent the only time you will ever be on my level is a video game so put your xbox in your backpack beside your Spider-man underwear and One night in Chyna DVD and get ready. Because after I beat you at the Royal Rumble, you'll be spending a lot of time in the dark.
Styles threw the shovel into a freshly dug grave beside him where the tombstone read "R.IP. AJ Styles".
AJ Styles: I dug my own grave by challenging you to this match. Now's the hard part. You have BURY me alive! I may not be on the Path to Glory but that's okay because once I win the World Championship I'll be on the road to Wrestlemania!
His voice calmed.
AJ Styles: Trent, listen.. I'm not Zack Ryder. I'm the Phenomenal AJ Styles.. When the bell rings and the match is over you will still question your existence. But it does mean a damn thing because you'll still be as irrelevant as you've always been. The answer to the question is simple. AJ Styles, the next EBWF World Champion!
A slight smirk appeared on the face of the Georgia native and the scene faded to black focusing on the sinister smile.
