Triple Threat

Post by Kyle »

Ted stood in the centre of the ring before Warfare went live, about to start his promo. Once again he had fails at defeating John Cena, once again he had failed to win the Royal Rumble. Tonight marked the beginning of the EBWF World Tour and Glasgow was the first stop. Ted wasn't thrilled to be in Glasgow and he wasn't thrilled to be put in this match to get a shot at the Path to Glory Championship. He was set to face off against his former Trilogy member, The Miz and Kevin 'I still need money' Nash.

Ted Jr: Glasgow, Scotland. Do you want to know the difference between you and the American crowds I see every day? Nothing. You're ugly, rude, unintelligent and frankly not worth my time.

Ted drew a huge negative response from the crowd.

Ted Jr: But tonight, I'm forced to compete for you. If I win I face Cena. This isn't about championships anymore. This is purely about me and John Cena. To get that match, I've got to face Miz and Nash. Now I read what Nash wrote on his website and he's right. I'm money. I'm what EBWF needs as a champion now. And he's right, everyone shits on him because he's old and still wants to bury some nobody. But how about this Nash, you remember Christmas Eve. You remember that match we had? You did defeat me that night to get a shot at winning the PTG Championship but lost to Cena like me. So tonight you want to defeat me again to beat Cena up? Not going to happen. I've heard all this talk from you about how the higher ups are idiots for not pushing the younger guys, but yet you still want to get in here 20 YEARS after you were relevant? You are the problem Nash. You can't leave well enough alone, you just want that one more run against the young guys. You want that one more chance to remain relevant to the new audience. But while you're bagging Wes and management at every damn turn over Twitter, you can't look at yourself and see that you're the problem too. I appreciate the kind words from you, and that's it. I don't appreciate you getting in the ring every 6 months here and taking money from me and every other young guy in the back. So follow your friend Scott Hall and just stay away.

Ted paced back and forth in the ring as he was ranting.

Ted Jr: That moves me to The Miz. He's consistent. He shows up, he performs and he gets the job done. But you're predictable Miz. Now I know you're going to call me a boring guy who can't leave my father's shadow. You're going to crack a couple jokes about Nash being old and tearing a quad and all of these stupid people will eat it up. You've held the Path to Glory Championship before, but now that it actually means something you want it more than before. So laugh and make those jokes Miz, make these people laugh. The difference between you and I is that these people mean nothing to me. I can walk into this arena or any arena around the world and not care what anyone thinks. You feed off these fans, I feed off my own ambition. I want and need to win this match, not to get a chance to win back the Path to Glory Championship but to get one more shot at Cena. This time last year I put the challenge out to Cena for Wrestlemania, now I'm going to go through Nash and Miz and get that match again. I'm going to beat Cena because I have to. One mistake is all it takes to win a match. Get ready John, I'm not going anywhere.
