The Truth Will Set you Free...

Post by NateTP »

OCC: Not going to make it a habit posting day of deadline. Just had a busy weekend. Excited to write my first rp here!

::People don't realize really how hard it is to be a pro wrestler. We risk our bodies out there week after week with only the fans cheers driving us through the fire. Let's not even forget about the corruption. The top dawgs in corperate always have favorites. They have that one guy who they think has the "look" they want and give him all the opportunities. While people like me fight to the top only get pushed back down the ladder.

In TNA I don't know what the hell their problem was. They've always had some brain dead honkey who didn't know what the hell they were doing running the company. I actually had the opportunity to win the NWA Heavyweight title and get out while the company actually had some dignity left. I went to the WWE and won the United States championship and the tag team championships but that was pretty much the highlights. They always gave me something just to keep me barely satisfied. I never got the opportunity at a WWE title run. In the last five to six years I've only been i've only had one shot at the title. Then they feed me back to the bottom. I've fought hard to earn my spot. To earn my spot. They just wouldn't give it too me.

Little Jimmy wasn't playing that ish' no more! That's why when that contract expired when EBWF came knocking I jumped right at the opportunity. Like the Notorious B.I.G said, "IT WAS ALL A DREAM!..." TNA took off high but then free fell hard on it's face. WWE had no competition until EBWF built its way up for thirteen years now. They have shown they can take on WWE week after week in the ratings. WWE has become so desperate for an edge so they dropped the WWE Network. Not realizing EBWF has heart because the best wrestlers fight they're way up to the top. While WWE continues to cherry pick their guys. WWE was good in the fact I don't have to worry about providing for my family anymore. I bought a house. I have money saved up. I am forever grateful to this business. I just know I have one more good run left in me, I have some fight! In EBWF the sky is limit!:::

(The scene begins outside a two story house on the balcony in the backyard. It doesn't look like anything fancy but is a nice looking house. On the wooden balcony at the back of the house sits Ron "The Truth" Killings in a white buttoned up shirt that is completely unbuttoned revealing the white "wife beater" that's worn underneath it. He sits at a white glass table on a white lawn chair in his baggy blue jeans. He sits there smoking a "Newport" cigarette with a bottle of corona sitting opened on top of the glass table next to it. He looks deep into the camera in front of him before speaking.)

Killing: "What's up EBWF!? It's your boy Ron "The Truth" Killings FINALLY taking his talents to EBWF! WHAT'S UPPP!...Too be honest it's been a long time coming. I've seen and done almost everything in this business besides winning the World or Heavyweight title in that last major company I was in because I was robbed of the opportunity. I won the NWA World Heavyweight title in another company but no disrespect to the old legends who've carried it, it just does nothing for me. I was the first African American to ever win it and I take pride in that no doubt. It's just I want to become the champion of THE best company in the world. I want to prove I'm one of the best wrestlers to ever do it....PERIOD."

(Killings takes a puff of his cigarette before looking out into his yard where a football is laying on the ground. He exhales before finally looking back at the camera.)

Killing: "...You know I'm forty-two f'n years old. I'm not a young cat anymore. I've been in pretty much every major company and the companies have paid me well. That's one thing I will never complain about. My family is set and that's what mattered most. That was the first priority because I didn't want my family having to eat around in homeless shelters while I lived in the back of my car traveling and wrestling city to city. With them taken care of I've done all that can be asked of a man. Marry a sexy ass woman, have kids, and do something you love with your life. I've taken care of my business and nobody can take that away from me. What remains at the tale end of my career is all that's left for me. Too make one more shot at glory. Too take one more shot at being the top dawg in this business. The last place had nothing for me. So I got out while I couls and jumped to the hotter company. I don't mind working my way back up. I don't mind starting from the bottom. I have no problem with it...."

(Killings take another hit before exhaling and continuing on.)

Killings: "I've been in all these wrestler's shoes in EBWF. Im not going to come in and demand respect. I'm not going to come in and make commands while others have been here for months trying to make names for themselves. I'm not going to rob them of the oppurtunities I was robbed of. I am down to fight for whatever comes my way. I will earn my stripes again. No problem. As long as I get the same opportunity as the rest. I was work my way back up and earn my shots. I have no problem with that whatsoever. Starting with Scott Hall I get to make my first ever apparence at a EBWF live on pay per view! This is a huge honor for me amd I refuse to let this be swept under the rug. This is where I solidify my legacy. This is where I really get to do something my kids can be proud of. EBWF you know WHAT'S UP!"

(He takes one last hit out of the cigarette before putting it out on an ashtray while smokes comes pouring out of his nose.)

Killings: "I'd never let little jimmy down. Scott Hall you picked a fight with the wrong guy homey. We both know we've had a long rich history in this business. We were some of the lucky ones to stay relevant even when father time started to call for our careers. We both feel we can make one last great run but I refuse to let you take this from me. This is my time to make a statement. This is my time to put the whole business on notice. I'll take on anybody, anywhere, and anytime! That's what's up! You fans know what's up! I won't let you down. Hall, at Fallout the truth will look you in the eyes and only then will the truth be set free when we get done in that ring. I'm ready for a fight boy, WHAT'S UP!??!..."

(Truth stares at the camera with an intensity as the scene fades to black.)

RIght a few things
  • - I love the phrase honkey, I just think its a brilliant word when used right.
    - Also enjoy the whole earning respect deal you've gone with. Its refreshing to not just have someone claiming they'll be champ in a week, so thats very cool.
    - Lastly as soon as you mentioned BIG the only lyrics from that track that need quoting are - Super Nintendo, Sega Genesis, when I was dead broke, man I couldn't picture this, 50 inch screen, money green leather sofa, got two rides, a limousine with a chauffeur

Haha I know I love the word honkey! It reminds me of this old youtube video I saw that had me dying laughing but I completely forget what happened in the actual videos. All I remember is some homeless black guy going "these honkeys are crazy as hell dog crazy as hell!" Haha

Got to love Juicy! Randomly put that in there because my gf literally just bought a shirt with "it was all a dream" on it but theirs so many great lines. Great song!

It was hard figuring out how id move on with Ron because hes pretty much a jobber right now in WWE so it definitely wouldnt have been realistic having him come in and call out AJ for the title ha
