This week brings on another challenge and of course is even tougher then the last. Daniel Bryan is one of the bright young stars in the sports. It’s only a matter of time before he takes this business by storm. At Killings age you would think they are going two separate ways in their careers but Ron is fighting to prove he is not yet done! That he still has one more small window of opportunity to show the world he is one of the best wrestlers of his era and should belong in the category with other greats of his era like The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Sting, Triple H, and even Brock Lesnar who returned last week at the same pay per view where Ron Killings debuted.
With legit stars like John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, The Miz, and Michelle McCool tearing through the business these days there is only so little room at the top for the old guys. Ron knows he has to fight be among these amazing superstars and that fight continues this week against Daniel Bryan! YES! YES! YES!...:::
(The scene begins inside Ron Killings two story home in Charlotte, North Carolina. Coming home from victory felt amazing and is only rivaled with the feeling of returning home to his loving wife and children. They were of course happy for him especially the kids but his wife felt a bit of a mixed reaction. They still jumped all over him when he returned but a few hours later in the kitchen Ron “The Truth” Killings is pouring some orange juice in a white wifebeater and baggy blue jeans as his wife comes walking in dressed in a black tank top and tight blue jeans of her own. Ron puts the orange juice back into the refrigerator and shuts the door before grabbing his class and turning around to see his wife standing in the kitchen behind him leaning against the island in the middle of the room. She doesn’t look at that happy…)
Killings: “What’s wrong baby?”
(She looks down as he walks up to her and rubs her shoulder. She then steps back out of his range before looking up and responding.)
Pamela: “How long are you going to keep doing this? Your forty years old and have done enough. When are you going to retire and spend time with your family?”
(Ron rolls his eye before looking away and shaking his head. This is the first time this subject ever came up so it kind of threw him off.)
Killings: “Where is this coming from? You never said anything about it before. How come you didn’t say nothin’ before I signed the EBWF contract?”
(She looks back down feeling a little guilty because he’s right but then looks back up to respond.)
Pamela: “I don’t know…I just didn’t feel anything at the moment. Seeing you come home and seeing the look on the kids’ faces just got me thinking. You’ve already done so much in this business. You made enough money. We are set. You don’t have to wrestle anymore. When is enough, enough?”
Killings: “Listen, I hear what ya sayin’ but you have to understand I’m not doing this for the fam’ anymore. I’m doing this for me. I already did I had to do for ya’ll. This is about me finishing off my career on my own terms, going out in a blaze of glory. I know I don’t have much time left but I’ma’ make the most what time I do have left.”
(She shakes her head still not understanding why he has to continue to wrestle.)
Pamela: “It just doesn’t make any sense. You’ve already done it all…”
(Killings looks her dead in the eyes before nodding his head “No”.)
Killings: “Your wrong…your dead ass wrong Pam. I never won the big one. You see our five year old son’s room lately? Nothing but posters of John Cena, The Undertaker, Stone Cold Steve Austin…they won the big ones. I want my kids to think of me the way they think of them. I want them to know their pops was one of the best damn wrestlers of his entire generation. I have to give this one last try…I’m sorry…”
(Pamela sighs and walks away looking pissed while Truth shakes his head and takes a sip of his orange juice as the scene fades to black…)
(The scene opens back up in a dark alley way at an unknown location. Ron Killings is standing in the alley way wearing a black hoody and baggy blue jeans as he stares deep into the camera.)
“There is no truth in the darkness…No matter what some brain dead honkey like Bray Wyatt tries to tell you, there is NONE. He continues to rise of the ranks and take over this company match after match while the hard working people at the bottom struggle. The struggle is real and this week on Warzone, Daniel Bryan and I plan on stealing the show. I don’t know about Bryan but I plan on showing the world you don’t have to wrestle alligators and creep around the woods like the psycho’s from that movie “The Strangers” to be great. It’s time to show the world that there is hope to take down these monsters and I plan on giving the world reason to have faith when I go blow for blow with Daniel Bryan…”
(He steps closer to the camera and smiles.)
“Daniel Bryan I have nothing but respect for you brotha. Your future is bright and one day you will be at the top of this company. Trust me, I’ve been in this business fifteen long years. I’ve worked my way from the bottom in some of the best companies in professional wrestling history. I know stars when I see them and there is no denying your future my man. Even a blind man who trapped himself in a dark closet could see you have all the potential in the world. On Warzone we gonna’ bring the best out of you my brotha. All the little jimmy’s across the world want to see you successful. I want to see you reach your full potential but also I have to get mines’ too. I know I have one last run in me so I have to win this week. I can’t fall. You still have a bright future so even if you lost a war it definitely wouldn’t be the last. Every match for me at this point is crucial and make or break.”
(Killings cracks his knuckles before continuing a deep glare into the camera.)
“While the darkness tries to take over this company it’s your bright future which will carry this company to the light. That’s the damn truth brotha’. I only have a short window so I’m going to do what I can to help but after I’m gone it’s up to you. Like I said I have nothing but respect for you. You can hang with any man on the planet in that squared circle so I know it’s going to be a tough fight. Don’t get it twisted though, I’m ready. I’m ready for war and ready to steal the show with you. I know you won’t go down without a fight which is exactly what I’m looking for. People might know me for my time in those “other” companies but this is the only place the matters. The only place where little jimmy’s actually care. So I have to put on a show so I’m hype that in my second match they put me up against you. I can’t wait to go to battle with you and maybe one day we can fight side by side to take down the darkness. At Warzone we have to take care of business first. Warzone is the perfect title because I know the fans our in store for something epic. What do you say mane’? Let’s give these people what they want. Let’s show these fans “THE TRUTH”! So come on DB, WHAT,S UP?! What you’ got?....”
(Killings smiles at the camera as the scene fades to black…)
