Miles to go before I sleep

Post by Justin »

.::The scene opens inside of a cold, dimly lit shack. The shack is located in the middle of a wooded area with nothing but trees for miles. Bray Wyatt is sitting at a table in plain sight, barely illuminated by a lantern sitting in the center of a table. On opposite sides of him are both members of the Wyatt Family, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. Harper is dressed as homely as ever, while Rowan is yet again sporting the sheep mask from prior weeks. The three of them appear to be playing a card game of sorts, be it Rummy, Euchre, or Poker. Wyatt's face is shadowed by his hideous fedora atop his head. He sniffles while eerily making a haphazard eye contact with the cameras.::.

Bray Wyatt: "Whose woods are these? I think I know. His house is in the village though. He will not see me stopping here to watch his woods fill up with snow... My little horse must think it queer to stop without a farmhouse near. Between the woods and frozen lake, the darkest evening of the year. He gives his harness bells a shake to ask if there is some mistake. The only other sound's the sweep of easy wind and downy flake. The woods are lovely, dark, and deep. But I have promises to keep. And miles to go before I sleep. Did you hear that, you ECW rejects? Miles to go before I sleep!!!

.::"Time Is On My Side" by the Rolling Stones cackles over an old phonograph, obviously the distorted sound of an old vinyl record as the cameras fade back. The journey begins in the old shack, at that very table and slowly creeps out the door. Then the camera is back peddled beyond all of the trees until the shack is seen no more. The final sight is that of the edge of the tree lines, before the camera finally turns a complete 180 degrees. There is a desolate road, showing no sign of life. Except for that of a flock of sheep across the road, just on the edge of the other side where they are all grazing on the green grass. A morbid, loud laugh of Bray Wyatt is heard clearly until it slowly fades into silence. The scene flashes out of tracking and the same haunting image of Rowan in the lamb mask is seen before the scene is faded into total darkness.::.

OCC: Sorry this was so short, but I see no signs of Credible or the ECW guys RPing. I just wanted to get something in before the deadline as this week as been mighty hectic...

Although short I still think there is a wonderful, almost whimsical feel to your writing, in a majorly dark and creepy way of course!
