B&B talks DBD!

Post by Brian W. »

The Show

Damien Sandow: Welcome to the show!

.:: A poorly edited video played showing clips of Sandow and Rodimer in the ring. Then the B&B logo popped up and appeared on the screen for a couple of seconds. When the logo went away Sandow was seen sitting in a chair. ::.

Damien Sandow: Well if that is how things are going to start then we can only go upward! Was that intro made by a four year old?

Daniel Rodimer: [Rodimer spoke in his best television announcer voice.] I'm going to have to disagree with you Damien. I really liked it!

Damien Sandow: [Sandow stared at Rodimer in disbelief.] Already just winging it huh? Why did I go through all the trouble to get a teleprompter down here if you weren't going to read from it?

Daniel Rodimer: [Under his breath.] Oh right. [Rodimer spoke in a normal tone, but really slow.] I. Agree. Damien. Totally a four year old! Ha. Ha. Ha.

Damien Sandow: Much better! Now me, being the genius savior that I am will not use the teleprompter. [Sandow cleared his throat.] Ladies and gentlemen, unwashed mass, I am here today to discuss something that is very alarming. You buffoons tune in every week and get shoved something down your throats and for some reason you enjoy it. I am here to explain to you why you shouldn't be enjoying yourself, and why you should be following the natural leaders that are, Brains and Brawn! Earlier this week I catapulted myself into Champion status by winning a gauntlet match for the Breakout Title. This title confirms a couple of things. It confirms what I have been saying all along, that I am better than each and every one of you. It always confirms something that every superstar in the back should be weary of. Unlike the Wyatt family who is led by Bray Wyatt, this title represents that Brains and Brawn has arrived.

Daniel Rodimer: In other words... EBWF, we’re here! Cue terribly awful back woods theme song. [Rodimer smiled.] Ever since Damien won the Breakout Title I have been hearing the whispers. They tried their best to keep me from hearing them but when you have ears that hear this good, you hear it all!

Damien Sandow: I have never heard man brag about the quality of his hearing before.

Daniel Rodimer: Well that is just because we have not been teaming up for that long. Give it time and you will hear things from me that you would never imagine hearing anywhere else. [Rodimer paused for a moment.] Now back to what I was saying, I have heard the whispers. I have heard people talking about me becoming jealous because Damien has gold on his shoulder and I don't. I have heard the whispers about us not teaming for long because I would turn on him for the Title. Well guess what? That isn't going to happen. So if your plan was to use that against us to somehow try and make us weaker than we are, you better come up with a different plan. I have never been a champion in my short time here in EBWF. I have never been given the opportunity to become one. I have not earned that opportunity yet. But seeing Damien with that Title in his grasp makes me work harder than I have ever worked before. Damien is leading by example. He is the seasoned veteran here. And him holding that Title does nothing but motivate me. There are no ill feelings, no feelings of jealousy because he is a champion, because with his leadership I know one day I too will have gold on my shoulder.

Damien Sandow: You will Daniel, and sooner than you may think. Now, back to what I was saying earlier. Every week Bray Wyatt comes out here and spits his mental diarrhea. Interesting side story real quick, the other night I was driving around and saw this homeless man sitting on the side of the street. He had a goat with him. Usually I am not one to help those kinds of people because they will just go use it on alcohol and drugs. However, this man had an animal with him, and I have a soft spot in my heart for those things. Anyway, I thought I recognized the homeless man until he looked up at me and I realized I had been mistaken. It indeed wasn't Bray Wyatt. And what about the goat? Turned out it was just your average every day dog. I could have sworn it was Bray and his brother having a secret squirrel meeting about monsters and having impossibly large things in his hands. You people should be booing this man and figuring out a way to please me so I will accept you as my followers. Instead you cheer him and don't even consider me as your leader. Bray Wyatt wants to talk like he is a savior, like he is here to help people and cure them. I do more than just talk about being the Intellectual Savior of the unwashed mass; I demonstrate my ability to lead. More than words are needed to be a good leader. For some reason you losers have not figured that out yet.

Daniel Rodimer: Do we have a breaking news graphic Damien?

.:: At that time in big letters across the screen the words “Breaking News” flashed off and on. ::.

Damien Sandow: Apparently we do. However, it also was created by children. What's the breaking news Daniel?

Daniel Rodimer: When you were just talking Damien I got a text message alert from the EBWF app! It looks like we have been booked in a match at Death Before Dishonor against Luke Harper and Erick Rowan. The best part? The winners of the match become the number one contender’s for the tag team championships! [Rodimer stopped reading and smiled.] I guess you were right Damien. I will have a piece of gold on me sooner than I thought. Sunday we defeat Harper and Rowan, and then we become the new EBWF Tag Team Champions!

Damien Sandow: So let me get this straight. We face Bray Wyatt and one of his brothers in this match right?

Daniel Rodimer: Nope. We face Harper and Rowan only. Two on two tag match.

Damien Sandow: Huh, funny how that works out. If this doesn't prove to you people that Bray is unworthy of the attention he seeks then nothing will. Instead of leading by example and inserting himself in the match against us, he leads his sheep to slaughter come this Sunday. For a couple of guys that don't deserve his attention he sure is showing how big of a coward he is. For the entire amount of smack he has talked on Brains and Brawn you would think he would grasp this opportunity to step in to the ring and show that he can deliver on his words. No, not Bray Wyatt. But don't get me wrong. He will still come out there and vomit his diarrhea for you all to hear. He will sing his silly songs and speak in his goofy metaphors; he may even let Harper and Rowan say a few lines of a poem. It's the same thing from him week in and week out. You all have not caught on, but I caught on the second I heard him speak!

Daniel Rodimer: Damien, Bray is not the enemy this week. Sure he will be sitting in that rocking chair ringside like and old woman stitching a quilt but we already know everything that is going to happen. He is going to rock in his chair, he is going to yell directions, and then he is going to punish his “brothers” after we destroy them to become the number one contenders. Bray you say that Damien and I need saved. That we are so far lost that saving us may not even be possible. Sunday after we beat Luke and Erick they will be the only ones that need to be saved. Saved from the biggest beating of their careers. Courtesy of Brains and Brawn!

Damien Sandow: Wyatt Family, you're welcome!

Quicken Loans Arena
The Nightmare on Center Street

.:: Sandow and Rodimer were seen in the middle of the ring which was in the middle of an empty Quicken Loans Arena. The crew had already had everything set up in preparations of the Death Before Dishonor pay per view. The two wrestlers were in their athletic clothing and were talking about their strategy for the match the following night. In the ring with Sandow and Rodimer were two unknown wrestlers. Sandow and Rodimer would take turns doing moves on them as it would pertain to the match and how they would want the flow of things to go. After a couple of moments of them doing these actions the lights flickered in the arena. Sandow and Rodimer stopped and looked around. ::.

Daniel Rodimer: [Looked at the other two wrestlers.] You two better not have anything to do with this.

.:: The two wrestlers shook their heads as if to say no. At that time the lights flickered off and on again before eventually going out for good. When the lights went out a scream was heard from a male’s voice. Moments later “Live In Fear” started playing over the speakers and Harper and Rowan walked out being led by Bray Wyatt. When the three of them appeared at the top of the ramp, the crowd had become full of people cheering loudly for them. A flash later and all three of them were in the ring. It was like they had not even walked down the ramp at all. ::.

Daniel Rodimer: [Rodimer looked at Sandow.] They do know that this is just a walk through for us right? And that the match for the number one contendership is tomorrow night?

.:: No sooner than the referee called for the bell Rodimer was getting pinned by Harper after taking his finishing move. The referee called for the bell and held Harper and Rowan's hands in the air and then Bray got in the ring with them. All three men hovered over Rodimer and taunted him as Sandow just walked off up the ramp by himself doing nothing to help Rodimer out. ::.

.:: Rodimer was seen sitting up quickly from the chair he was sleeping in. He had sweat rolling down his face and Damien Sandow was in the same room on the phone. ::.

Damien Sandow: You alright there buddy?

Daniel Rodimer: Oh thank God. As Nelly would say, “It was only just a dreeeeeeeaaaaam!”

Damien Sandow: [Talking to the person on the phone.] Hey I have to go. Daniel just woke up from a nightmare apparently and just started busting out in song. I will have to call you back. Bye. [Sandow hung up the phone and turned his attention to Rodimer.] Now what are you singing songs about over there?

.:: Sandow sat in the chair next to Rodimer as Rodimer explained the nightmare he had just woken up from. A couple of times Sandow busted out with laughter and had to apologize as Rodimer looked legitimately upset. After a couple of minutes Rodimer was done telling Sandow about the dream and Sandow spoke. ::.

Damien Sandow: That is a very interesting dream there Daniel. But there are a couple of flaws I can think of that would turn that nightmare into the most amazing experience of your life.

Daniel Rodimer: Well me too. Take out Harper and Rowan and add in a couple of good looking blonde haired honeys and that is the most amazing dream I would ever have. I might even wish I would never wake up from that dream.

Damien Sandow: Don't talk like that! If there was no Daniel Rodimer there would be no Brains and Brawn. And if there were no Brains and Brawn this World would be a much much worse place! Back to the topic of your dream. First thing is first. Did you say that there was a manly scream heard when the lights went out? Please tell me you were not insinuating that I was the one that was screaming.

Daniel Rodimer: I have a confession to make. This is not easy for me. No one knows this except me. Damien, I am afraid of the dark.

Damien Sandow: A six foot five beast of a man that beats down other dudes for a living is afraid of the dark? How is that even possible?

Daniel Rodimer: This is why I don't tell people! Just forget about it!

Damien Sandow: I apologize. I understand. I have fears too. But I digress. Back to your dream. I don't care how many of them come down with Bray Wyatt when our match takes place. We are going to defeat them and become the number one contenders. I know Harper and Rowan are big guys, but they are dumber than a box of rocks. Their weakness is their ability to prepare for matches and make in match adjustments. We have no weakness. You bring the pain. I bring the brain. If something doesn't work for us for some reason we know other ways we can go about defeating our opponents. Daniel, what I am trying to say is there is no chance come Death Before Dishonor that we lose. We have been working too hard to miss out on this opportunity. We have come too far as a team to not dominate these guys. When we are finally done beating these clowns down and we decide to pin them for the three count they will only be able to thank us. And to them I only have two words. You're welcome!

Daniel Rodimer: I have to be honest with you man, the thing that bothered me the most is how you just walked off and didn't even try to help me in the situation I was in. But I know that is just my dreams trying to play a trick on me; Just Bray trying to affect my dreams like Freddie Kruger. I know with what we have been through that you will have my back no matter what. [Rodimer and Sandow nodded at each other.] I bet people think that this means the Wyatt family is in my head. And you know what I will let them think that. But the one thing this dream has done is it has motivated me to not let anything like that happen tomorrow night. Now Damien if you would please hit the play button on the 1990 Boom Box I have sitting over there so we can get pumped up to go out there and become more mentally and physically prepared for this match!

.:: Sandow walked over to the Boom Box sitting on the counter and hit the play button. “The Man” by Aloe Blacc started playing and Rodimer immediately shot up out of his chair and started pacing back and forth. Once both men were pumped up and ready to go they shared yet another epic high five. They then energetically walked out of the room with Rodimer singing. ::.

Daniel Rodimer: I'm the man, I'm the man, I'm the maaaaaaaaan!

.:: End ::.
