**The EBWF.net Warfare pre-show gets underway with a close up on EBWF legend Syxx. Syxx stares intently into the camera as he begins to speak.
Syxx: I remember it like it was yesterday. Jim Ross' words over a series of vignettes declaring AJ Styles and I the "dark knights" of the EBWF. It was such a compelling story, the "young gun" trying to overthrow the "old dog" that walked such a similar path. Except for he isn't that much a young gun...and I sure as hell am not an old dog. The truth is AJ Styles, whether purposely or not, emulated me in so many ways that he felt inclined to create a false reality where he was being "held down" by older guys such as myself and also found creative ways to blame his personal failures on Wes. It's all good though, I have heard this story so many times before. The King of the Ring tournament being upon us represents the end of a very unfulfilling year for me. Some people try to romanticize it and make the past year about my rise from obscurity back into prominence but I have no appetite for such bullshit. I have failed time and time and time again, and for all of my successes there have been twice as many failures and one of the more pivotal failures was my inability to defeat AJ Styles. I found myself in an unfamiliar position when I truly felt like I was suppose to be the hero in this story. He was the antagonist poisoning the audience with all of his lies and half truths and I was unable to be the hammer of justice that pounded him into the ground. You got the best of me AJ. You beat me, you beat Kev, you even got yourself a world title shot. What you didn't do after that is really of no concern to me because it's a hell of a lot more than I have been doing. I was so unconcerned with you, all this time you were talking and I couldn't care less about anything you had to say because you were just another guy trying to leech off of my name to create his own success story and at the end of the day it worked. I understand all of this, and I take full responsibility for all of my shortcomings, but at the end of the day I am tired of dwelling on the past. The King of the Ring is my opportunity to write a new story for myself, and it begins with me finally shutting AJ Styles up. I'm here to sell t-shirts and kick ass, so I've got two words for you AJ...suck it! Now onto phase two...

Even the one paragraph is well written.

I hate you sometimes.
Writers aren't exactly people. They're a whole bunch of people. Trying to be one person.
