The King of the Ring PPV ended with The Trilogy standing united once again in the middle of the ring. Ted DiBiase, AJ Styles and The Miz were part of arguably one of EBWF's best factions. Just like the last time they were together Ted was the Path to Glory Champion. He held that belt with pride, knowing that it would one day win him the World Championship. The Warfare after the King of the Ring had Ted defending his championship against CM Punk, who was in a battle with John Cena at the King of the Ring PPV. The two were stretchered out and there was no way that Punk would be 100%. Topeka was the city hosting Warfare this evening and before it went live Ted decided to grace the audience with his presence. Heroes by Shinedown played over the PA as Ted walked down to the ring dressed in a jet black suit, holding his PTG Championship over his shoulder. He got into the ring and demanded a microphone.

Ted Jr: Did you see what happened at the King of the Ring PPV? Of course you didn't, you're all too poor to afford to buy the PPV.

The crowd booed Ted loudly, but Ted stood proudly in that ring.

Ted Jr: The Trilogy, the greatest trio of wrestlers in history has reformed. AJ Styles, The Miz and yours truly are back! For those of you who are too dumb to recall we were the most dominant group in EBWF history. You want to look at The Shield, Fed Ex, The Family or any other group and they couldn't do what we did in one night. One night was all it took for us to establish our dominance on this company. The Royal Rumble, the World Championship and the Path to Glory Championship were all won by us in one night. Do you want to know why we're so successful? What sets us apart from every other failed faction in this company's history? We're all equal. We're not like the Midnight Gang with Brian Kendrick calling the shots or the Family with Punk at the top, we're three men, three brothers who want to be better than everyone else. We're not lackeys to anyone and we don't have a leader. When we took out Rated RKO at the King of the Ring, we did so as a group. It wasn't AJ Styles leading The Miz and Ted DiBiase against Rated RKO it was The Trilogy destroying Rated RKO as a cohesive unit. We are the best thing in EBWF, and we have been for some time.

The crowd hated Ted and The Trilogy and booed loudly.

Ted Jr: Tonight I have to defend my title in this dump of a city against CM Punk. Who decided on that? Was it Wes Ikeda? A man who has made it known that he doesn't think I'll ever achieve greatness. Or was it Chris Jericho? A man who is still pretending to be in charge of this company. It doesn't matter who made the call, I WILL NOT LOSE TO CM PUNK! This championship. This championship right here on my shoulder is and forever will be mine.

Ted grabbed the title and thrusted it high into the air.

Ted Jr: Nobody has held it more times than I have. Nobody has held it longer than I have. CM Punk may have been the first to hold it but I took it from him. I took this title and made it what it is today. I made this title mean something. I will retain tonight and then I will cash it in.

The crowd let out a cheer at the possibility of a World Championship match taking place very soon.

Ted Jr: CM Punk's career has been connected to mine since I arrived here in EBWF. He wants to talk about me being the let down and how I lost to Alberto Del Rio, but CM Punk leaves out one small little fact.

Ted paused for a moment, before revealing the fact.

Ted Jr: I'm his Kryptonite.

Ted walked around the ring as he spoke.

Ted Jr: That's right ladies and gentlemen, the man, the legend, the enigma that is CM Punk can't stop losing to Ted DiBiase. Who beat him for the World Championship? Me. Who kicked his ass along with Raven, Dr. Stevie and that crazy bitch Daffney? Me. Who beat him for the Path to Glory Championship, the championship that at one time was called CM Punk's championship? ME. I am the man that can beat CM Punk whenever I want. I've been doing it for the last four years. Sure he's managed to hold the World Championship on several occasions, but the record that we share is tipped in my favour. You want to worry about AJ Styles and The Miz backing me up tonight? Well you should. You've got one third of the greatest trio in wrestling history in the ring against you tonight and the other two thirds on the outside just waiting to devour you. CM Punk can be cocky, he can say that I haven't beaten Cena and he's right. But did he beat Cena last night? No. Did he take Cena to his absolute limit, you're damn right he did. But that does not mean that tonight I'll be a pushover. You're coming into this match injured and you know it. I'm fresh and I've got two hungry wolves on the outside watching my back. This ring is my yard and you're not making it out alive. So tonight I'm going to beat you, I'm going to retain MY championship, the Path to Glory Championship, and I'm going to cash it in very soon and become the next World Championship. Mark. My. Words.

Ted threw the microphone to the ground and left the ring. He walked up the ramp paying no attention to any of the fans. As he walked into the backstage area he was met by Renee Young and a camera man.

Renee Young: Ted, tonight you're facing CM Punk for the Path to Glory Championship, how will you go defending your title?

Ted Jr: This is my title, not anyone else’s. The only way I'll surrender this is when I hand it over for my guaranteed World Championship match.

Renee Young: At the King of the Ring PPV you reformed The Trilogy and took it to Rated RKO, will AJ Styles and The Miz be with you tonight?

Ted Jr: We're a group of brothers, whether they're with me at ringside or watching on from backstage here I know they have my back.

Renee Young: Any final words for CM Punk?

Ted Jr: You can be cocky, you can talk about your feud with Cena, or how you're Straight Edge but it means nothing. Tonight I'm going to put CM Punk out of his misery and very soon John Cena and I will meet again. I. Want. The. World. Championship.

Ted left Renee standing there and departed to his locker room to prepare for his title defence.
