Brock Lesnar's EBWF status; Paul Heyman's backstage role
Sources close to the matter have reported that Brock Lesnar's part-time EBWF contract stipulates a limited number of appearances, and pursuant to the terms of said contract, Brock Lesnar is taking some time off of wrestling to spend time with his family. Brock Lesnar has been absent on EBWF programming since dropping the EBWF World Championship to John Cena in April, and may not return for a couple months. This would seem to indicate a possible program building up to Fanniversary.
In the time that he is not serving as the on-screen mouthpiece of Brock Lesnar, Paul Heyman is said to be working closely with EBWF Administration, offering a contrarian opinion on creative direction within the company, and availing himself as a talent relations executive pro tempore. It is unclear what, if any, on-screen role might be in store for Heyman in the near future.
