The Miz had dropped a match at Sacrifice, that he never would have dreamed of dropping. In fact things just weren't going right for The Trilogy since reuniting. What was next for this group? Only time would tell. The fact of the matter is they need to get it fixed if they don’t want to be left behind or fall into wrestling obscurity.

The scene opened up backstage in the locker room of The Trilogy. Miz was sitting next to a locker that we saw a suit hanging. He was in his ring gear and he was lacing up his boots. AJ Styles walked into the scene, also in his ring gear. Ted DiBiase was right behind him. The two men both hit Miz one on each shoulder. Miz acknowledged them, but not much. AJ broke the silence.

AJ Styles: What’s up Miz? You alright?

The Miz looked at AJ like he was crazy.

The Miz: Am I alright? No I’m not alright. I lost to Syxx AJ… Syxx. You guys even tried to help me, and I still lost to friggin Syxx. The guy sweats Jack Daniels, and I lose to him. He’s walking around with the Intercontinental Title. What the hell is this world coming to? Then this week they give me Dolph Ziggler. I don’t even care right now if I win or lose this match, I can’t get over what just happened on Sunday.

AJ Styles: Miz relax. Who cares about Syxx, and who cares about Dolph? Who cares about anyone here? This company is a piece of shit, that’s why we should just fuck with it, until they can’t ignore us. At the end of the day nobody cares about Syxx or Dolph Ziggler. So don’t worry about it, you aren’t the Intercontinental Champion, who cares? At the end of the day, let’s just focus on fucking everyone’s world up. If we win matches along the day, great, if we lose matches along the way.. fuck it. We are still going to be the guys people leave talking about.

Ted nodded in agreement. Miz gave AJ a hard look before responding.

The Miz: You are right about one thing. This place is a piece of shit. I’m absolutely sick of it. Feel like I’m back in high school and I got kicked out of the cool kid table. Not that that would ever happen to me, but you know what I mean. All the opportunities, all the posters, all the appearances lately have been going to all these other jamoaks and not to us. You are also right that win or lose, we SHOULD be who people leave talking about, but I’m not so sure that’s the case. People care more right now about John Cena’s mucous then they do about The Trilogy. If they don’t want to talk about us, if they don’t want to pay attention to us, then we really only have one option.. to make them.

Ted DiBiase: Sounds fun.

AJ smiled wryly as did Miz.

AJ Styles: It will be fun. I’m so sick of this fuckin company, Wes Ikeda.. awesome… seriously dude you’re amazing.. Chris Jericho.. you too.. rock on dude. You guys are running a great show, I love it.. no really.. I do. I just hope you don’t mind when we decide to improve it, by.. well by fucking it up.

The Miz: Starting with this match with Ziggler. Do I care about it? Barely. Do I care about anything here but making everyone’s life miserable.. I really don’t. These friggin idiots this week have heard may say stuff along those lines and already they were like..

The Miz mocked members of the EBWF universe.

The Miz: “But Miz.. you were a world champion.. don’t you want to win.. don’t you want to prove to Chris Jericho and Wes Ikeda that you still can get the job done.”

The Miz paused for a beat.

The Miz: Really? Prove to Chris Jericho and Wes Ikeda that I can still get the job done? REALLY? I’m the Miz, the mother effing Miz, I am this business. WE are this business, I don’t need to prove anything to either one of those morons. I’ve been friends with them, I’ve sat at dinner tables with them, what an honor right? Give me a break. Dolph Ziggler, seems like a guy who they are going to try and mold into being the new me. The new life of the party, the new smiling imbecile who doesn’t mind taking a backseat to their golden boys, but still sells T-Shirts and makes them even more money that they don’t earn or deserve. Dolph, let me give you some advice. Just run man, run, don’t let them stifle you. I mean sure you aren’t smart and you are the biggest cliché of “I’m good looking.. I’m cool.. I’m arrogant.. but people think my overconfidence is great and edgy.” Sure it seems like Kanye West is your ghost writer, with the undeserved brash confidence. Sure you still feel like the guy that people don’t really know what to do with. You’ve won some matches.. you might even win on Monday.. but at the end of the day. You’ll still be Dolph Ziggler, you’ll still be the guy with potential that never turns into anything, you’ll still be a guy that people go “oh wow that was fun.. who’s up next?” Before they forget about you. You don’t stick Dolph. You throw a nice dropkick, you are athletic, you can go in the ring, but for whatever reason nobody really cares. They don’t leave talking about you. I mean Billy Gunn might he probably says things like “remember when I did everything that Dolph Ziggler is doing now? That was awesome.” But nobody else does Dolph. I don’t know what’s going to happen Monday with regards to winning and losing.. but I can ABSOLUTELY promise you, that people will not leave talking about you.. they will be talking about us.. and when I get through with you.. people may claim that they don’t “WISH THEY WERE US,” but one thing they will ALL be in agreement about is that they are glad they AREN’T YOU!

AJ Styles: Fuckin right.. camera guy..

The camera turned towards AJ.

AJ Styles: Beat it.

The scene faded to static.
