OOC: This weekend had several birthdays, and we're celebrating them all today lol. Couldn't do much more than this. Sorry Clover!

=====~*~=====

August 31st, 2014. Summerslam; For quite a few people, the month ended on a bitter note. In simple terms, this was so because they had lost the match they more than likely went into having the thought they would come out victorious, only to come up short. But of course, when it came to someone like Michelle McCool, things were never that simple. They were exaggerated. For her, she was not part of the losing statistic at the pay per view. Tonight had admittedly been the toughest challenge of her time in EBWF so far, but she overcame it. She still won. And that contributed even more to the complex she had more recently developed, that egotistical, self-inflated "I'm better than you, and no one is better than me" personality. But as long as it worked in her favor, she would stick with it. In the present, she currently was at the top of the division, being women's champion. Presently. She obviously wasn't in the past, and she still had a ways to go before the statement could hold true in the future. 4 months had gone by and she was still champion, but compared to the reigns of Trish Stratus and Angelina Love? It was subpar. Naturally, she assumed she would reach that point in her time here and make all her claims legitimate. However, that didn’t change much in her mind. Her ego was huge, her head, the size of the moon. She was untouchable. Or unstoppable. The two were interchangeable in her eyes. There was no shaking this feeling. And now that the feeling was firmly planted in her mind, it let her soar to new heights she had never thought she’d be able to attain. As always, what she saw as an outstanding feat, many other people saw as a new low sunk to. That itself was another chapter of a completely different story. For now, she was brought back to the present, approached by Renee Young, as always on point, with timing as well as her overall look. Michelle probably made her look better though, considering she’d just made it backstage after her match. Any other time? Michelle would look much better of course.

Renee Young: Congratulations on retaining your title Michelle! How do you feel just moments after a big win? Brie Bella was the fan favorite tonight, but you managed to come out on top.

Michelle was smiling, and looked to the belt rested on her shoulder. She patted it admiringly before looking back to Renee.

Michelle: When are they going to host my coronation? Oh wait, I’m still queen. No need! All joking aside Renee, I did what I said I was going to do: defeat Brie Bella. There’s a long list of reason’s running against her as to why she had no chance in winning this match, so I wouldn’t feel too bad for her anyway. I mean, Nikki sat on her in the womb so that obviously took a lot out of her. It looks like it’s still affecting her now. What’s so sad is Brie had her hopes up. Of course, with a noggin’ that big there’s plenty of room for her to dream. Gosh, I feel wonderful Renee. Winning just does that to you! I wanna sing that song Dory sings in Finding Nemo. “Just keep winning, just keep winning”--

Renee Young: Actually, Dory said “Just keep swimming”, but nice little touch there.

Michelle: Such a buzzkill Renee. Why are you always ruining my moment?

Michelle was no longer as cheerful as she was moments previously. Renee wasn’t fazed at all by the sudden change in mood. In fact, she took advantage of the shift.

Renee Young: There’s seems to be a lot of animosity between the two of you. Things have gotten a little personal between you and Brie, especially this week leading up to Summerslam. You made the claim that Brie hasn’t been around the EBWF for some time due to the fact she was busy doing other projects, to keep things short. And she equally threw some dirt your way as well, bringing up your relationship to AJ Styles. What do you have to say about this?

Michelle: Oh yeah, Brie went all Dr. Phil on me about AJ Styles. Just like she does with every other diva on the roster. She said those things because of one reason: I’m Flawless. There’s nothing wrong with me, so she has to resort to associating me with losers, such as AJ Styles, to have something bad to say about me. The truth is, I didn’t ask for her input, nor would I ever ask for her input. I’m not her sister. I’m great. Just look at me and where I am. Now look at AJ Styles. Take a look at Brie, too. Because now you can lump those two into the same category. Losers.

Renee Young: So do you think this is the last we’ll see of you going at it with Brie? Considering what’s transpired in the last month, it seems highly unlikely this will fizzle out anytime soon.

Michelle: Renee, I’m going to be honest with you. I know I’m a bitch. But at least I can play the part. I couldn’t tell you what Brie was going for, trying to diss me in some of the most irrelevant ways possible, but she should probably go back to doing whatever it was she did before. Like not being here. If I were her, I’d save face and not even bother coming back after tonight. But like you said, I doubt this is the last we’ll see of “queen” Brie.

With that said, Michelle tilted her head to the side and wiggled her fingers at Renee, before strutting away with her title.

The Moda Center in Portland, Oregon, would be home to the September 15th episode of Warfare. It was also where Michelle would be shooting her latest interview. Tonight, she’d be going against Alexa Bliss, who’d also just come off a win at Summerslam alongside Emma. The cameras were rolling as the scene is brought to the wardrobe and vanity area. Michelle was busy primping her hair with her free hand, staring intently at herself in a mirror. Her other hand of course, coddling her championship. She reached for a can of hairspray that probably had an illegal amount of chemicals in it, but when she brought it up to eye level so she could read the label, she had a look about her that showed she was not pleased.

Michelle: What is this? It looks exactly like…

Michelle turned the bottle so it was facing towards the mirror, and pressed down on the trigger. A fine stream of particles were released and plastered to the mirror.

Michelle: Glitter?! You can’t be serious! That little nymph keeps leaving her stuff everywhere.

She tossed the bottle back onto the table, where it knocked over a large container full of… More glitter. It all fell right onto her boots. She looked down shellshocked, and tried to kick her feet free of the large clumps of shiny speckles, but resistance to the bedazzling was futile. When she turned around, she ended up kicking Todd Grisham, who was for some reason standing directly behind her. He instinctively held out the microphone towards her, while simultaneously hopping on one leg, and holding his shin with his free hand.

Todd Grisham: Ow!

Michelle: You were so in my bubble, Todd. So yeah, ow is all that’ll be said here.

The diva went to walk past him but he managed to let out a cross between a yelp and cry of pain.

Todd Grisham: Wait!

He stopped bouncing on his foot, and returning to a vertical position. He still grimaced, but pushed through like the reporter he was to get what he came for: some answers.

Todd Grisham: Michelle, tonight you’re facing Alexa Bliss! You both secured big wins at Summerslam last Sunday. Anything you’d like to say?

Michelle: Oops.

That made Todd come to his senses. He perked up a little, pushing up one of his eyebrows. He pushed his glasses back onto his nose.

Todd Grisham: Excuse me?

Michelle stared at him for a moment as she continued brushing off what she could of the remaining sparkles and glitter.

Michelle: Oops. That wasn’t a mistake. Oops is all that comes to mind when I think about this match Todd.

He looked down and away for a moment, trying to think of why this was the case. Of course, he couldn’t.

Todd Grisham: Why is that?

Michelle: Uhh, isn’t it obvious? This match was some mistake. I don’t think anyone realized they put Alexa Bliss against me. I bet they meant to have her go up against Mickie James.

Todd Grisham: Mickie James was released several weeks ago.

Michelle: Oh…

There was a long pause as both looked around them for an answer this time.

Michelle: Oops?

Todd Grisham: Well said. So now that we know that is not the case, do you have something to add to that?

Michelle: ...I do feel kind of bad for Alexa. She’s like this cute little smurf with all her blue. And she does magic with her glitter, and flies around the ring and all of that. She’s so… Cute! But cute doesn’t help you win matches. I kind of wish I was only hugging her instead, for her sake, but it looks like that’s not going to be the case. Let’s be real Todd, I have a whole foot over her. As in height. I’ll being kicking her behind to next Monday anyway, but I digress. There's no way I can let the runt of the litter that is the divas division get one over me after I successfully defended my championship. That would be terrible. It would make me look bad. And what would that say about Brie, if Alexa Bliss beat me? But that’s not going to happen, because I’m the best, Todd. And Alexa? What has she done except get a win, and I use that term loosely, over the diva’s tag champs?

Todd Grisham: She has defeated MsChif.

Michelle: I think everyone has defeated MsChif. I’m sure she’s even lost herself at some point.

Todd shrugged and pushed his glasses back up to his nose.

Todd Grisham: Anything else to say about Alexa?

Michelle: No. She’ll probably say something along the lines of “Michelle needs to smile more and in the name of the moon I shall punish you” like the meatball head that she is. And that doesn’t bother me. At all. So, I think I’ve said everything I need to hear. Bye Todd.

She patted him on the head and brushed past him, as the cameras focused on the interviewer.

Todd Grisham: You heard it from the women’s champion herself. Tune in to Warfare tonight to catch her and Alexa Bliss in diva’s action!
