Survivor Series was upon us and Daniel Bryan was set to compete in a traditional Survivor Series elimination match. This match was the foundation of the pay per view and the two sides competing had bad blood between them. For weeks, Bryan was courted by CM Punk and it looked as if he had made his decision to join Team Punk, until one night on Warfare where he double crossed Punk and joined Barrett, Ryback, Tyler Breeze and Justin Gabriel. He was a key part to Punk's plans and it blew up in his face. He didn't just turn his back on Punk and his team, he turned his back on everyone. Bryan realised the only way to succeed in EBWF is to look out for yourself, not to worry about making friends or pleasing people. Bryan made a calculated decision and chose Barrett's team.

Michael Cole had scheduled an interview with Daniel Bryan prior to him going out to compete. The interview would be shown directly on EBWF.net. Daniel Bryan stood next to Cole, dressed to compete wearing a silver jacket with DB marked on the back.

Michael Cole: Welcome everybody to Survivor Series. I'm with Daniel Bryan who is one of the members of Team Barrett. Now at one point you were on Team Punk but then switched allegiances to Team Barrett. Why?

Daniel Bryan: I wanted to win, pure and simple. Punk's team wasn't going to allow me to win and Barrett's was. Punk has and will never be a team player. He wants the spotlight, the attention and all the fame that comes with it. I'm different and Barrett actually made a point. Barrett needs each part of the team to win. We're a group of varying styles and talents and that is where we will win. Punk has an IC Champ who has won a couple of lucky matches and an old retired fossil still painting his face.

Michael Cole: That was going to be my next question, what are your thoughts on the Icon Sting joining Team Punk?

Daniel Bryan: He made an entrance last week and got lucky. Put him in the ring with Ryback and he will get his head clotheslined off. Put him in the ring with me and I'll snap his arm. He can make flashy entrances and use little mind games. But that bat isn't going to save him tonight.

Michael Cole: And what about Sami Zayn, Enzo Amore and Dean Ambrose?

Daniel Bryan: You've got two lunatics and a decent wrestler there. They won't coexist. There is no team dynamic in that group at all and they know it. When the going gets tough they will crumble as individuals and we will rise as a team. It's the only way this will play out.

Michael Cole: Should you manage a win tonight, what is next for Daniel Bryan?

Daniel Bryan: Gold. The end of the year is approaching fast and that means that the Royal Rumble is about to be the big focus of the company. That is where I will succeed.

Michael Cole: Any final words for your opponents tonight?

Daniel Bryan: You can try and make this seem personal but it really isn't. Punk, you only want what’s best for you and nobody else. You will not win with this group. You might think that you're the hero to this story and your group will storm in and triumph over evil but that's not how this goes. Team Barrett is a group, we band together and we are a unit. We all want that one prize, that one achievement. We want a victory and in the end it will be the real team that will come out on top tonight.
