Greater than the sum of its parts

Post by Benjamin »

**The scene opens outside of House Syxx's locker room in Las Vegas, Nevada just before Warfare goes on the air. Renee Young knocks at Syxx's door fully expecting Seven or Symphony to answer it, but out came the man himself**

Renee Young: Good afternoon Syxx, a word for EBWF.net please?

Syxx: Anything for you baby girl. Roll it.

**Renee motions the camera crew to begin filming as she stares intently into the camera for an interview.**

Renee Young: Ladies and gentlemen I am joined by the lord of House Syxx and EBWF legend, the man himself, Syxx. Syxx, how are you today?

Syxx: Much better since you showed up.

Renee Young: You flatter me. I was surprised that I did not have to jump through hoops to get your attention.

Syxx: My house is very loyal, but the scent of a fair maiden such as yourself is unmistakable. No one but the lord himself is worthy to feast their eyes upon your beauty.

Renee Young: Always very charming. So tonight you have what is being called a "strange bed fellows" match along with partner Dolph Ziggler against the makeshift tag team of Justin Gabriel and Christian, your thoughts?

Syxx: Strange bed fellows? What an interesting term. Today's progressive society notwithstanding, a bed is traditionally shared between a man of a woman. I wonder who exactly would represent the woman in this particular pairing, is it the man with the longer hair or the one who frequently wears pink? It does not matter, nobody will be sharing a bed. We have a war on our hands, and I am honored to ride into battle with ser Dolph of the House Ziggler, first of his name. Opposing us will be the Darewolf ser Justin Gabriel and Captain Charisma himself, ser Christian. They are great knights in their own right, but clearly they are out of their league. This is a rather interesting concept, taking singles stars and placing them in random teams...showing us how to be a part of something greater than ourselves individually. I know a thing or two about this, do I know? Ser Hollywood of the House Hogan once assembled an island of misfit toys of sorts and changed the face of professional wrestling with an alliance that was called the New World Order. I would argue my incarnation of it was twice as deadly, but that is neither here nor there. I spent a lot of time running from my past and resenting those that have wronged me but over time I have come to understand that I was misguided. I can't yearn for the past, I can't regret the past, I must simply move on. Then I thought maybe I could assemble my own faction, my own island of misfit toys. Underutilized footnotes from wrestling's past. I have an eye for untapped potential, but my desire is not to glorify the unwanted...simply to honor my name and my house. My match tonight will serve as a reminder that a team is greater than any individual, and the team of Syxx and Dolph Ziggler is certainly great than Christian and Justin Gabriel. You heard me say it, now send a raven to all seven continents. Christian...Justin Gabriel...your asses are grass AND WE'RE GONNA SMOKE THEM!

**The scene fades.**
