A pair of golden boots were being shot by the camera and it slowly panned upwards. Becky Lynch stood in her locker room and held a poster of Trish Stratus in front of her. It looked like she was studying it but obviously not for it's beauty (sorry fanfiction writers). She looked at it a little longer before turning her head towards the device filming her. She dropped the poster to the floor and rolled her eyes
Becky Lynch: Quintessential Diva, huh? That's what Trish Stratus calls herself. That's funny. You would think someone who calls themselves that would have evolved and at some point. I mean, look at me for instance..
Becky had something of a transformation recently. Her hair was a fiery, bright orange color kind of like shade Hayley Williams from the band Paramore sported at one point. She wore a black, stylish leathery coat and a pair of golden colored goggles rested on top of her head. A very unique, steam punk kind of visual that made her stand out much more than the Lita-Lite kind of look she previously had
Becky Lynch: I've been here for only a month or two and look at me. New hair. New gear. New everything. Because I understand how this business works and how important it is to look different than everyone else. In your decade plus in the big times, just how much have you ever changed? What? You became a brunette and lost your little cowgirl hat? Let me tell you something, honey I think time has passed you by a long time ago. Maybe a decade ago someone like you might have been what a female wrestler should be all about. But now? Nah. I don't think so. I'm not going to call you a relic or a fossil or a dinosaur. At one point in your life you were a fitness instructor or whatever the hell you did, but you got a big fat contract because you were pretty and now you're one of most well known female performers in America. And do you know what? It pisses me off.
The native of Dublin make sure that was obvious by borderline rage filled look on her face
Becky Lynch: Yeah. It pisses me off big time. You got to carve your niche in the pro wrestling world and become fabulously wealthy, I'm sure, all because you were blonde with big tits and a big ass. And, yes, I KNOW, that you became an actual, honest to god, wrestler and you're quite good at it. You've held multiple titles and no one is ever going to forget your contributions. But you got the easy way in. You didn't have to work all over the world like I did. You never had to starve on the indies or go all the way to Japan to get noticed. Does it sound like I'm bitter? I am.
Becky spread her arms out and threw on a big, mocking smile before reverting back to her much more sullen demeanor
Becky Lynch: But, you see, it's fine. I like getting put in the ring with people like you and Torrie Wilson who get treated like you're some kind of Goddess'. As if I'm supposed to respect you for some reason. Why? Because you two get to coast on by and life off your names while the rest of us actually have to work twice as hard to get noticed? And you say I've got a big head? Damn right, I've got a big head! Look at me! I'm young, I'm hot, and, hate to break it to you, but I'm a MUCH better wrestler than you. When I get you in the ring and make you tap, I'll prove it. I can't wait..to prove it.
It looked like she was visualizing how the whole thing would go down in her mind. Making a legendary figure wither and whimper at her command brought a grin to her face
Becky Lynch: Don't get me wrong. I'm not on a crusade. I don't care how old you are or how long you've been around or who's spot your supposedly taking. Not one bit. If I see a spot you better believe it. And guess what, Trish? I want your spot. I'm taking it. You're fodder for me. Don't feel too bad about it. Every single last woman in this tournament is fodder for me too. Even Sasha Banks' brain dead, high school, overrated silly little ass. SHE'S the one I want and she HAS what I want and you're standing in the way of that. So force you to submit, and tell the whole world that I'm better than you by doing that, don't expect a hand shake. Don't expect me to kiss your ass and tell everyone just how much I respect you!
After folding her hands underneath of her chin she lifted one leg in the air and spoke in a higher, girlier tone of voice. Mockingly again. Something she seemed to be very proficient at.
Becky Lynch: Makes me sick every time I hear that. Really? Someone beat you down and now you respect them? So fake. But I guess that's the theme the Women's locker room seems to be running with.
She shook her head and pressed on
Becky Lynch: But I won't ever do that. And if YOU try and shake my hand I'll throw another submission on you and make you tap all over again. In front of this giant, massive audience. Trish Stratus, the GREAT Trish Stratus, forced to plead and beg for mercy all because she wanted to overlook Becky Lynch. Her superior in each and every way. THIS is the total package, Trishy. Just because you kept talking about kicking me in my face? I'm going to leave foot prints all over yours. This isn't going to be a highlight for my career. You're only round one after all. It's going a milestone for you. The first time you faced Becky Lynch and she made you her bitch.
Brash level was reaching a boiling point. Big talk but she felt she could back up every last word.
Becky Lynch: And Sasha Banks? Pay real close attention. Because it's only a tiny glimpse of what you've got coming your way, "Boss".
Becky gave a daring look to the camera, spreading out her arms as she made more enemies each time she opened her mouth. But it seemed as though this was precisely the way she liked it.
