Pity

Post by Jayme »

The Mean Girls had been scheduled a quick meet and greet before the Warfare event tonight at the Pinnacle Bank Arena. As the doors opened early for the event, fans began to pile in, buying merchandise and food, or finding where their seats were located. Many of the fans crowded the tables that had been set up to meet Women's champion, Sasha Banks, and Women's Tag champions, Eva Marie and Summer Rae. All three divas were fashionably dressed with heels to match, their hair and makeup was on point as usual.

Fan 1: OH MY GOD!

Summer looked up from signing an autograph.

Summer: No need to call me a God. Queen will work just fine.

Sasha: You can all call me boss!

Eva: I'd prefer Goddess.

Some of the fans laughed as the trio went back to signing autographs and taking pictures with their fans. All three Divas proudly had their title belts resting on the table in front of them.

Summer: It's only a matter of time before I am officially declared the Queen of EBWF.

Fan 2: Aren't you afraid of having to face Sasha if you win?

Summer: Not at all. You see, no one in this company has a stronger bond with anyone, than I do with my two ride or dies! We have an understanding and as long as we keep the title in the Mean Girls, then all will be right with women's wrestling. Obviously there is no one else more deserving than us!

Eva: Summer's got this! Kangaroo Jack has nothing on Summer. What has she done since being in the company besides chasing a man who doesn't even care she exists? Nothing! So pathetic. Not to mention Summer has already beaten Emma more times than anybody can count.

Eva flipped her long red hair over her shoulder.

Sasha: No matter the outcome, this title won't be leaving our group for a very long time! You can all bank on that.

Fan 3: How do you feel about Alexa Bliss beating you, Eva?

Eva rolled her eyes and twirled some of her hair around her finger.

Eva: That troll got lucky. The light was in my eyes... I couldn't see. It was luck. But Summer will get the job done tonight.

Summer: If I get my hands on sparkles, I'll slap the red out of her ratty hair.

Eva: Ew, right! She can't rock red like I can, I think the whole world knows that. I know I'm often imitated, but I'll never be duplicated!

Eva, Summer, and Sasha did their signature Mean Girls snap in unison before posing for more pictures.

Fan 4: What about Becky Lynch?

Another random fan spoke up from the crowd that was suddenly growing thicker as more people gained entrance into the arena. Summer laughed.

Summer: What about her? She's already out of the tournament. I don't even care if she wants to align herself with Emma's worthless self. If she and that random lass think they will ever prove a threat to my girls and I, they are wrong! Why even ask me about Becky Stench? She's irrelevant, just like her foreign pal Emma will be after she loses to me tonight.

Summer scribbled a few more autographs and stood up from the table.

Summer: Attention everyone, I'm afraid we've run out of time. I'm parched, it's time for a wardrobe change, and my makeup needs to be freshened up. It's tough work looking this good. But it's a necessary evil I must take care of, something I know you people of Nebraska have no clue about.

The fans started to boo them as the trio grabbed their belts and got up to leave the area. There was still a lot of people who had been waiting to meet them. But everything had to be on the Mean Girls time. When they were done, they were done.

Summer: I have a match to get ready for. Lets get out of here girls.

Sasha: See you losers later.

Eva: Byyyeee!

The three left the area quickly as the fans booed even louder, the meet and greet was suppose to continue for another half hour or so. This upset many fans but the Mean Girls obviously didn't seem to care.

----------------------------

The scene opened up backstage in the Mean Girls personal locker room. A sign on the door warned people to stay out, they wouldn't have anyone walking into their personal space and using their amenities. Summer was busy rifling through clothing outfits, pursing her lips together as she figured out what she wanted to wear after the show. Eva was busy shopping online for shoes while the Women's champion, Sasha Banks was fixing her makeup at the vanity counter.

Summer: Should I wear the red dress or the black dress?

Summer held the dresses up to herself one at a time.

Eva: The red! It's sluttier, I love it.

Summer: This one does make my butt look amazing!

Sasha: The black one. That lace material is on point.

Summer: I know, I'm so in love with it! It's so hard to pick one!

Eva squealed in excitement looking at her phone.

Eva: Omg! I just bought the perfect Jimmy Choo shoes! I need them in my life right now!

She showed Summer and Sasha the shoes she was talking about. Summer and Sasha nodded in approval.

Summer: Oh those are hot!

Sasha: Too bad you won't have them for tonight when we go out.

Sasha was referring to the three of them going out after Warfare. They were going to celebrate if Summer was able to advance in the Queen of the Ring tournament.

Eva: I know, I wish I could.

Summer: Guys! I seriously can't pick which dress to wear tonight-

Summer caught herself off when a knock was heard on their locker room door. Summer sighed and tossed the dresses into her over sized locker. She crossed the room and opened the door to see Michael Cole.

Summer: Oh. You.

Michael Cole: Greetings to you as well, Summer.

Summer: Let me guess, you're here to ask me about my match against Emma? How I feel about the Queen of the Ring tournament now that Eva is out? Or how amazing I am for beating Natalya out in the first round last week like I said I would? How about this, Michael, I practically have the match won already. I mean how many times have I beat Emma fair and square? Like a trillion times by now. I feel wonderful because I'm going to win this for not just me, but my girls. Eva was screwed out of the tournament, but I will avenge her. Oh, and I said I'd beat Natalya's complacent not-so-little self, and I did exactly that.

Michael Cole: It does seem Natalya might have taken you too lightly last week. Do you think this had any play in you winning last week?

Summer: Um, duhhh! Everyone likes to make jokes and take me lightly, but in the end, it's their biggest mistake. Time and time again this has happened, and here I am, TWO time EBWF Women's tag team champion! Soon to be EBWF's 2015 Queen of the Ring. AND Still on top of the world with my bae's! Eat your hearts out, hattteers!

Summer flipped her long blonde hair back behind her with a smug expression on her face.

Michael: Well you certainly seem very confident in yourself.

Summer: Why wouldn't I be? I have all the reason in the world to be confident. I get the job done when it counts most. Look at the success we rack up around here. Everyone can't stand it and it just makes us laugh all the way to the bank. All of you trying to trash us and bring us down, you're just making us even more famous than we already are. Even bad publicity is still good publicity, so keep letting the minions in this division talk. Ain't even mad!

Sasha: Tuh, those idiots are just making us more money than any other females in the locker room. Look around you, we have the titles, the fame, the VIP locker rooms. You don't even understand the A List life we live, and it's all thanks to those who keep running their mouths!

Eva: They all threaten to find some way to end us but not one person has been even close to being successful.

Summer: Exactly. We're here to stay whether everyone likes it or not. In the end, we ALWAYS get our way. ALWAYS! It will be no different for this tournament. None of the Divas around here have what it takes to get rid of my girls and I. We're here to stay and there is nothing ANYONE can do about it!

Summer continued to grin cockily and crossed her arms over her chest.

Michael: Any last words to share with us before your match this evening?

Summer: Yes in fact, I just want our little diva from down under friend to know that I pity her.

Michael: What?

Summer: You heard me right. I actually PITY her. I mean, it really must be hard to want a guy who couldn't care less about whether you lived or died tomorrow. The same guy who wants a girl like ME and not HER! I can't blame him, I'm everything she's not. Successful, beautiful, smart, talented, champion... the total package. So in a sense, it really must weigh heavy on her mind that he's paid more attention to me, than he ever has to her. Someone told me he even wanted another superstar to steal my phone, like what?

Summer laughed and shook her head.

Summer: I bet it eats at her to know that I could walk right up to Brian Kendrick and get the attention she's been trying so hard to get from him. But that's the difference between a winner and a loser. She couldn't be half the woman I am, even if she tried harder than she's ever tried before. It must be a downer to suck so bad at life, right?

Summer looked at Sasha and Eva who nodded in agreement.

Summer: Then again, I wouldn't know anything about that. I always get my way in the end. One thing I've always been good at in life... is winning. Like I'm about to go out there and do again tonight!

Summer stepped back and slammed the door in Michael Cole's face without another word. The camera faded out to black as the scene came to and end.

I freaking love everything about the way The Mean Girls play off of each other, and I'm guessing you guys don't write together for every promo, so it's pretty impressive the way the three of you do such a good job of writing each other's characters. Great read, Jayme. Thanks :-)
