“Am I a desperate man, Uncle Teddy? I don't think I fall into the category you so carefully packed me into. I am not here for the fame or fortune. I am not here to further my legacy in this business of ours. I'm stepping back into that ring because it's what I love to do. It's what I live for. I step into that ring because of something you will never understand, the drive to push myself forward, not to better myself but to better those around me in this industry. No, no, no, make no mistake about it, Uncle teddy. I am not here out of desperation, I am here because I am needed.”
He nods as if agreeing with himself, stopping his pacing for a moment as he looks down, almost thoughtful.
“You've learned nothing over the years. You still think that everyone around you can be bought and paid for. No matter how many times you are proven wrong you still stick with the same philosophy and ideals. They say that the definition of insanity is repeating the same thing again and again while expecting a different result. And they have the nerve to call ME crazy.”
Mankind chuckles which creeps into a high pitched laugh before he controls himself again.
“You pay this man to fight the battles for you because you no longer have what it takes to step between those ropes and take care of business for yourself. Itami is nothing more than some little game piece to add to your collection and one of these days he is going to smarten up and see the truth of who you are. Uncle Teddy is a bad, bad man.”
He starts to pull at his hair again, rocking back and forth on his feet.
“Your little wonder boy may be on a hot streak here in the EBWF, but every hot streak runs cold eventually. As for me, I'm just getting started. I don't know why Undertaker seems to suddenly be obsessed with me yet again, after gaining the win over me he attacks me in my next match and then lays down for Itami. If you ask me, I think he's in your pocket, proving that the big man is only here for one thing, to pad his wallet instead of all of that tired lame legacy crap he was spitting out before. Well the Undertaker's soul might be for sale, but not mine! You see Teddy, I don't care about trying to rebuild my legacy, I am more than happy with what I've accomplished already and that's because I have a large body of work behind me that still fascinates and thrills fans out there today. Can you say the same about yourself? I innovated hardcore, I took the top stars of their times to the limits and beyond, I made people in and out of that ring through my actions. You? All you've ever done is thrown some money around and laugh.”
He seems to be getting more and more unhinged, both hands gripping and pulling at his hair now.
“Uncle Teddy... I want you to watch closely what I do to your little Itami. Because once I'm done stomping a hole in him, I'm coming after you!”
He shouts before letting out a strange war cry and lunging at the camera, the feed knocked out.
