A Heart Wrenching Return

The scene opened up at the home of Jeff and Beth Hardy. The camera comes in filming as Jeff and Beth can be seen sitting on the couch watching TV. As they sit there their daughter Ruby comes running into the room and jumping into her father’s lap. He smiled and lifted her up as she hugged him tight.

Ruby Hardy: Daddy do you real have to go?

Jeff looked at her and nodded his head. For a while he had been there for her, he was the father and husband he always knew he could be. He wasn’t traveling as much but when Wes is best friend in the world offered him the opportunity to come back to EBWF he could no turn it down.

Jeff Hardy: Ruby you know I love you and I want to be here with you but Uncle Wes offered Daddy a job and we both know you love seeing me on the TV.

He looked at her seeing that she was a bit sad but he hugged her tight as he looked down at her. It was going to be difficult for her but this was something he had to do. This was his career and it was time for him to make it back to the top.

Jeff Hardy: Ruby I promise that the two of us will talk every night and that I will be on that phone every night to read you your bedtime story. Also your Uncle Wes said you are welcome to come and visit anytime and travel with us.

Ruby looked at her father and smiled at him. She nodded her head in agreement and looked to her mother before going back to look at her father.

Jeff Hardy: Now do you want to see the very unlucky guy who gets to face Daddy in his first match back?

Ruby nodded her head again as she smiled

Ruby Hardy: Yes and Daddy your gonna win cause you’re the bestest!

Jeff smiled and pulled out his cell phone. He looked up a picture of Breeze and showed it to his wife and daughter. Ruby giggled a bit as she jumped off her father’s lap and ran to her bedroom. She came back with a blonde doll and held it up.

Ruby Hardy: Daddy he is pretty like my dolly!

Jeff couldn’t help but laugh as he looked at her. He nodded his head as he looked at her.

Jeff Hardy: Yes he does princess and when I am done with him he won’t be such a pretty face anymore. I am returning to my home away from home and Tyler Breeze is just going to be the stepping stones Princess. Daddy is going to make his way back to the top and bring home those championship belts that you love so much.

Jeff smiled at his daughter and watched as she yawned a bit. He kissed his wife knowing she was going to take her for her nap. He nodded and waited till they left the room before he looked back to the camera.

Jeff Hardy: Tyler you may be the Breakout Champion but I am Jeff Hardy. I have been through so much in my career and now it is time for me o come back and raise myself back to the top of the ladder. Jeff Hardy is a man who will not stop until he gets what he wants. Tyler you are just a pretty boy who thinks his looks are going to get him everything he wants. I am sorry but that will never happen. I am ready to make my return to this company that has given me so much and to see the man who has helped me so much in my life and stood by me when things were at a low point. Wes I will never be able to thank you for this new opportunity and I will not let you down.

Jeff smirked a bit as he heard his wife shout down to him.

Beth Hardy: Jeff! Ruby wants her story!

Jeff looked at the camera and smiled before shrugging his shoulders. He waved the camera out as he ran over to the stairs and ran up them

Jeff Hardy: Alright princess I am coming!

The camera moves over to a picture that is sitting on the mantle of Jeff and Wes Ikeda as the scene slowly fades away.
