Step Into The Lights And Then You'll Know..

Post by D.J »

Interesting. That is what the past month has been for the EBWF Champion The Miz. Fresh off his win over CM Punk at Christmas Eve of Destruction- The Miz was on top of the world, and on top of the business. He was a millionaire, a movie star, and at the pinnacle of his profession of professional wrestling. However, the guys who had been by his side to help usher in this wave of success- didn't exactly seem too thrilled with the way their leader had been acting. In Miz' quest to prove that he didn't need his cronies to win matches- he in turn alienated them to the point where they had had enough with the pompous champion. Miz' victory address on the 2nd Warfare after Christmas Eve lead to a falling out between the group once known as The Vertex. So though the Miz entered 2016 as the EBWF Champion- things certainly felt a little bit different. Much circled around this controversial superstar- but the thing that circled the most were questions. Could Miz retain his title at the Royal Rumble? Could he be a successful fighting champion on consistent basis without a stable to back him up? Was Miz in for another free fall from the top similar to the what occurred at the conclusion of the Trilogy? Were things truly different now as he had so often claimed? Things for The Miz went from bad to worse as Chris Jericho had worked his way into the EBWF Championship title picture. The current long reigning EBWF Intercontinental Champion earned a wild victory over Brock Lesnar to earn a shot at The Miz at Royal Rumble for the EBWF World Championship. Miz and Jericho had collided before but never in a match of this magnitude- never with the stakes so high- The Miz was dead set on proving that he would be better off without his followers who spurned him- he was dead set on proving that there was a reason that went beyond "the numbers game" for him being champion. He was dead set on proving that he indeed was as "awesome" as he claims!

The scene opened up at an EBWF Studio. The camera clicked on to pick up a bunch of EBWF employees running around making sure wires were set, sound boards were set up properly. Most of the men wore black EBWF staff shirts and head sets. There were two chairs set up in the middle of the room. Michael Cole entered the shot as the first TV recognizable person in the scene. He wore a black suit and white button up with no tie. He straightened his jacket as he sat down and reviewed a couple of notes on the pieces of paper he held in his hands. Someone said something to him that was inaudible to the camera, he acknowledged it with a nod. After several moments, a voice from off screen yelled.

Voice (OS): Michael he's here!

Cole shuffled the papers to make a neat stack. He calmly replied.

Michael Cole: Ok great send him in.

The Miz entered the scene. He wore sunglasses despite being indoors a grey Armani suit with a white undershirt and no tie. He had the EBWF World Championship over his shoulder. The segment had not yet started, so he didn't walk with his usual air of arrogance. He took his sunglasses off and put them on the collar of his shirt. He shook Michael's hand.

Mike Mizanin: Hey Michael, how are you?

Michael Cole: I'm good Mike- how are things?

Mike Mizanin: Things are things- excited for a good Royal Rumble match with Chris. Excited for Valentines Day!

Mike said "Valentines Day" in a light joking manner- so Cole knew that Mizanin wasn't exactly geeked up for the hallmark holiday. Cole played along and sarcastically added to the comment.

Michael Cole: I mean who isn't!?

Mike Mizanin: Seriously right!

The two men shared a laugh typical of small talk.

Michael Cole: Alright you ready to roll?

Mike Mizanin: Almost.

Mike put his sunglasses on. He then took his hand and waved it over his smiling face- when the hand crossed his mouth the smile had disappeared into a scowl. Cole smirked at this.

Mike Mizanin: Ready.

Michael Cole: Alright Steve let's do it.

Voice (OS): Alright in 5.. 4...3..2..1.. we're rolling.

Cole and Miz took their seats midway through the count. Michael kicked it off.

Michael Cole: Hello EBWF viewers my name is Michael Cole and the man to my right needs no introduction.. but I'm going to give him one anyway. He is the..

The Miz cut him off.

The Miz: They know who I am.

Michael Cole: Well that's what I said b...

The Miz in the same matter of fact way repeated himself.

The Miz: They know who I am.

Michael Cole: Very well- so Miz- let's cut right to the chase- we heard your comments this past Monday- but what really happened with The Vertex?

The Miz thought for a second and rubbed some of the scruff on his face- trying not to get too visibly upset. It was clear the subject bothered him some.

The Miz: Same thing that always happens Cole. This is the most me, myself, and I business that there ever was. Nobody is ever genuinely happy for each other- because deep down everybody wants to be the guy with this.

The Miz tapped his title twice.

The Miz: So even though Finn, Ted, Kyle, Kevin they claimed that they were happy, they claimed that they supported me, but at the end of the day, deep down all they wanted was to be me. All they wanted was to bring me down so that it would make them all feel better about their pathetic careers. I alluded to it on Monday, Cole, and I'll say it again jealousy is an ugly emotion. It can make you do things that aren't so smart- or aren't necessarily the right thing to do. Those guys are done- you won't hear anything about them now until you're reading a "Where are they now" article on EBWF.com in ten years and they're talking about how great their lives are as a ski instructor, or a gas station attendant or whatever other job they end up with. Those guys won't be doing a damn thing in pro wrestling at least not the EBWF. This is where the best reside, and when you are mediocre like them, you should just be thankful the BEST of THE BEST wanted you around- they forgot that Michael.. and now this business will forget them as it did for years before they met me. Period end of sentence- and I don't want to talk about them anymore, clear?

Michael Cole: Of course Miz of course- let's shift gears. Sunday Night at the Royal Rumble you will defend the EBWF World Championship against current Intercontinental Champion and former World Champion Chris Jericho. It comes on the heels of Chris earning this right to face you with a victory over Brock Lesnar on Warfare. Your thoughts?

The Miz: Excuse me Michael if I don't fall over myself impressed with Chris Jericho's "victory" against Brock Lesnar. First of all Brock Lesnar is an overgrown piece of crap with the IQ of a toddler. Secondly, Wes Ikeda had to hit him the head with a lead pipe in order for Chris to even get the victory. So again if I don't seem too complimentary of Chris- it's because he's not worthy of any compliments. Chris Jericho is a leech Michael, he's best friends with the boss and because of that he's been able to basically do whatever he wants around here. Perfect example is he's the Intercontinental Champion right? The last time he defended it Bill Cosby had a good reputation. You see Michael, Chris is like having drunk hiccups- you get frustrated by him because you just think he's never going to go away. You get frustrated because it seems like they are going to last forever.. but then Michael.. they stop.. they do go away.. and that moment where Chris Jericho goes away.. is finally here. That moment of reprieve where we no longer have to listen to him tell people to shut the hell up, or scream out "come on babay" or screech through the word ever, or mis pronounce "again" , or continuously take opportunities that younger more exciting guys are more deserving of, is finally here. Chris Jericho is holding back the EBWF- he doesn't belong in this match- he doesn't deserve a title- he doesn't deserve to even be employed as a wrestler anymore- yet here we are. Things don't always make sense Michael, but one thing that will- is what happens to Chris Jericho at the Royal Rumble. The beat down that I will issue Chris Jericho will make perfect sense to everyone.. at least anyone with a brain. It may surprise the 55 year old virgin guy who still remembers whacking off to Chris Jericho when he was in WCW and he thought Chris was one of the Nitro Girls with those feminine blonde locks..

Michael Cole: Whoa Miz- there are kids watching.

The Miz didn't break his flow.

The Miz: But it won't surprise anyone that has half a clue as to what is really what around here. Anyone who knows anything about anything when it comes to the EBWF knows that this isn't even a fair fight anymore. The people here "Break The Walls Down" and they cheer and clap their fat little hands together, because it makes them remember the good old days. They go "ohhhh and ahhhh" when Chris pyro goes off, it's all grand and wonderful. "Chris Jericho.. Chris Jericho.... YAYYY" But it just doesn't come with any real substance anymore after that, Cole. There's just not even close to enough talent left anymore to have him even contend with someone like me Michael. It's like sending a paralyzed guy onto the free way, there's pretty much no way Chris isn't going to get run the hell over at Royal Rumble. The fact of the matter is- I'm running the show now- I'm the "best in the world at what I do." Warfare is NOT Jericho, Michael.. Warfare, Royal Rumble, Wrestlemania, every god damn event.. is and will always be MIZ for here on out. No amount of nostalgia for Chris Jericho is going to change the fact that I'm the guy Cole, and if Chris wants to play dress up and pretend that he can still hack it- he can be my guest- but trust me when I tell you that he's going to regret that decision in a major major way. People have said that this match will put a lot of pressure on me- they have said that without Vertex in my corner- I'd have no chance. They also said that last month Cole- and CM Punk another overrated piece of crap trying to hang on to past accolades were locked inside of an electric steel cage just the two of us. Who won that one Cole? Oh that's right, I did. People have said a lot of things Cole- but most of them- like the things I just mentioned are pretty stupid- because stupid people say stupid things- and stupid people also do stupid things. Chris Jericho even wanting a match with me is pretty solid evidence of that.

Michael nodded. He offered a follow up question.

Michael Cole: Miz- Chris is one of the most decorated stars in the history of this company though. Many are saying that he is definitely the best adversary you've faced for that very title.

The Miz: Michael- look I'm not going to rip on you today because I'm not really in the mood- and I know you're just trying to do your job.. even though you suck at it- so I'm just gonna say that people have said that about literally every opponent that's been put across from me since I became the EBWF Champion. "Ohhh there's no way he'll beat Sami Zayn... " " Ohh there's no way he'll beat him again.." "Ohhh there's no way he'll beat AJ Styles.." "Ohhh he beat AJ Styles... but he definitely won't be able to beat CM Punk.." and now it's Jericho. I mean I'm not sure when people are going to start realizing that I'm going to beat freaking everybody. I'm the god damn Miz- I'm the EBWF World Champion.. and I didn't get to be the EBWF Champion because I'm good at yahtzee.. I mean I'm great at yahtzee.. but that's not why I'm holding this belt. I'm holding this belt because I'm the cream of the god damn crop, and what's worse Cole is that people still don't want to believe it. They don't want to accept that the EBWF is being represented by The Miz- they don't want to accept that The Miz is the best in this business... and you know what Michael.. that's fine. I don't care about anything except being the EBWF Champion.. and it's not so I can prove a bunch of po dunk fast food employees wrong- it's so that I can continue to have the one thing that everybody who has ever claimed to be "the best" needs to freaking prove it. Chris Jericho- can ramble on and on- which he will- about how the only reason I'm champion is because I haven't faced him yet for it. and la da da.. blah blah blah.. and it's just so rich. Yeah Chris- I'm only champion because I haven't defended it against you and your 45 year old love handles and receding hair line... right.. tell me more.. Everyone wants Chris Jericho to be champion so we can listen to his bones creak every time he goes to do a lion salt or spring board drop kick week in and week out. You and your stupid band sing a lot of songs that I've never and will never listen to Chris- and because of that your band- it doesn't bother me. Your wrestling career- well quite frankly is the equivalent of someone hold head phones on my ears making me listen. You have put yourself in a very dangerous position Chris.. in my way.. and it's not going to end well for you because of that fact.

Michael nodded again.

Michael Cole: Chris Jericho with a win though Miz could become one of a select group in all of pro wrestling that has held BOTH the EBWF World and Intercontinental Championships at the same time.. your thoughts on that?

The Miz: La dee da Cole. Why would I have any thoughts on something that's not going to happen? That'd be like me coming out here and talking about Justin Bieber going celibate when he's probably balls deep in one of the Jenner girls right now...

Michael Cole: Miz! We'll edit that out..

The Miz smirked.

The Miz: The fact of the matter is Chris Jericho can hug his basically obsolete title every night and say to himself "yeah I can still wrestle.. see I'm the Intercontinental Champion" but it's like really? If a title belt never gets defended is it even a title anymore? I mean it might as well be a belt made in arts and crafts or something like we all did when we were kids. The Intercontinental Championship is as pointless as a VCR at this point man- but there's no way in hell I'm going to let that happen to this bad boy.

The Miz patted his title again.

The Miz: This title right here is always going to be defended- it's always going to matter. Which means it's never going to be resting on the saturated fat filled shoulders of Chris Jericho. Double champion? Pfft.. the only double Chris Jericho knows right now is Double Stuffed Oreos. You get it Michael.. you're fat too..

Michael Cole looked down at his gut sheepishly.

The Miz: It's not your fault and it's not Chris' fault either. It's what happens when you get old-you get old- you get fat. You get old- you get slow. You get old-you lose endurance. Which is fine if Chris was like a toll booth worker like he should be.. but no.. he's a professional wrestler. So now that 10 year age difference between him and I.. not that matters. Now it's not you get old- you get fat you get slow, you lose wind- so what? Now it's you get old- you get hurt- and that is exactly what is going to happen to our dear friend Chris at the Royal Rumble. It's going to be all fun and games at first when he comes out in his little light bright jacket and waddles to the ring, but when that bell rings- he is going to be in for a real REAL quick realization that I'm in my god damn prime. I'm as on top of my game as anyone else in this company is right now. He's going to realize that there has NEVER been day that he has been on the level that I'm on right now.. much less THIS day.. and he's going to wish Michael, that he'd stayed in the board room telling fart jokes and having milk come out of his nose laughing with his buddy Ikeda.. because like Ikeda- he doesn't belong in an EBWF ring in 2016.. and at Royal Rumble I'm going to make sure that he doesn't go back into one anytime soon.

Michael Cole nodded knowingly.

Michael Cole: Any final thoughts for us champ?

The Miz: Things aren't meant to last forever Cole- good things come to an end- that's the way it works for normal people. It's a part of every day ordinary life. I'm not normal though Cole and my life is anything but ordinary. I think- no I KNOW that this EBWF World Championship reign IS meant to last forever, this is a good thing that IS NOT meant to end. Especially not at the hands of someone like Chris Jericho. It's going to take Godzilla or friggin King Kong to dethrone me Cole- and even still I think I could take either of those monsters. Chris Jericho isn't gonna be the guy to do it- because there's just no guy CAPABLE of doing it. This is my time Cole- MY time- After Royal Rumble, people aren't going to be talking about who emerged out of the 30 man main event to go on to Wrestlemania- all they are going to be talking about is how the man that that UNLIKELY person is going to meet at the grand daddy of them all is absolutely without question or debate INDESTRUCTIBLE and UNBEATABLE. People are going to know after they watch me dismantle Chris Jericho that there is an EBWF World Champion that CAN NOT be stopped. Besides, if we are talking about something in this match that was never meant to even last this long- it's not my title reign, it's Chris' career. It's been a good run Chris- but your good run is gonna have to come to an end- and I can't think of anyone more fitting to be the one to end the illustrious career of Chris Jericho- than this beautiful bastard that you're looking at right now. The EBWF World Champion- the best of the best- YOUR FAVORITE WRESTLER'S FAVORITE WRESTLER.. THE MIZ. I'm done Cole- and soon Chris Jericho will be too.

Miz took off the microphone on his collared shirt. He stormed off the set. Michael looked into the camera and very calmly closed the interview.

Michael Cole: Well there you have it. That was EBWF World Champion The Miz- he seems as focused as he's ever been. Time will tell if that focus will lead to a victory against Y2J Chris Jericho at the Royal Rumble.

Voice (OS): Annnd we're clear... thanks Michael.

Michael Cole: Thanks guys.

The scene faded to black. We reopened to the EBWF logo. The opening shot was a small house that was far from well kept. The camera whipped around to the back yard, there a makeshift wrestling ring was seen. There was 2 late twenties early thirties year old guys in the ring having a backyard wrestling match. There was 8 other guys on the outside with 2 of them acting as announcers. Each of the men not wrestling were enjoying an ice cold Coors Light. The camera then whipped back out to the front of this house, the back yard could be seen from this view. A stretch limo drove by the house. The camera stayed focused on the house, and after a few beats the limo went in reverse and parked outside of the house. The limo door opened and The Miz emerged from the Limo. He was in a black suit with a black undershirt. He had a pair of sunglasses over his eyes and the EBWF World Championship over his right shoulder.

The Miz: Won't be long. Just sit here and wait.

Limo Driver (OS): You got it sir.

The Miz loaded with confidence walked with a tremendous swagger towards the back yard of this house where the men were wrestling. As he approached one of the men spotted him. He elbowed his friend who was watching the match. The friend ignored the elbow at first.. but the elbow got harder which caused the second man to snap.

Jeff: What?!

Kevin: Look...

Jeff turned annoyed as he was about to take a sip of beer, when his eyes saw the Miz he missed his mouth with the beer and spilled it on his white t-shirt. Kevin went to say something to Miz, but Miz as was his way interrupted.

The Miz: I know I know- this is the greatest moment of your life. Aside from your degree from auto mechanic school- this is literally the only good thing that has ever happened to you.

By now the rest of the men, even the two in the ring were now looking at The Miz. One of the men in the ring, Bryan, answered.

Bryan: Miz- I just want to say- welcome to my house.

The Miz: Yeah thanks... it's nice.

The Miz' comment was packed with sarcasm as he let out a big "pfft"

Bryan: So as cool as this is.. what are you doing here?

The rest of the men nodded in agreement as they were all wondering the same thing. The Miz looked almost taken aback by the question.

The Miz: What am I doing he.. what am I doing here? What's your name man?

Bryan: Bryan.

The Miz: Ok Ryan.. you have..

Bryan: Actually it's.. Bryan with a B.

The Miz: It's Ryan now because I said so.

Bryan: Ok right on.

Bryan looked to his friends and shrugged.

The Miz: So Ryan.. you have the EBWF World Champion in your back yard and you want to question what he's doing here? Really? How about hey Miz how's it going, do you want a beer?

Bryan: Oh right of course- Miz you want a beer?

The Miz: Well I mean it kind of loses it's muster when I have to tell you to.. yes I would love one actually thanks.

Kevin threw Miz a coors light, and Miz caught it, cracked it, sipped it, and continued.

The Miz: Anyways, the reason I'm here other than to finally give you guys a story that doesn't end with you passed out on your moms couch with Dorito crumbs on your shirt.

This made some of the men chuckle, obviously Miz was pretty right on with this assessment.

The Miz: Is because I just happened to be passing through and I saw this back yard wrestling set up that you guys have going on, and well I don't know something came over me and I had to stop. You see this Sunday Night I go one on one with Chris Jericho- now Chris and I don't have much in common as you know I'm the best wrestler on the planet and he's you know an over the hill loser, but one thing that we do have in common is the fact that there were days when we both started out in a place like this. Now granted we were like 19 when we were "trying this at home" and you guys are like how old?

Bryan: Well I'm th..

The Miz: Don't answer that it's cool- probably best I don't know-if you're nice I'll explain to you what it's like to have sex with a woman later too.

The men all laughed.

The Miz: You guys too.

They stopped laughing which brought a smile to Bryan's face. You could tell some of them were still trying to wrap their head around the fact that The Miz was a their house.

The Miz: Anyways seeing you guys back here just brought me back to when I was a kid, pretending, dreaming that one day I'd get to be in a real ring in front of millions of people doing what I love to do. 15 years later and here I am. Chris Jericho, same thing, he was just a young little mother canucker in Canada with a dream and he made it a reality. I happen to know that Chris wrestled in places a lot worse than this.. if you can even picture that.. really gross.

A new guy Matt spoke up.

Matt: Yeah, he had to sacrifice a lot. A lot more than you honestly.

The Miz looked at Matt. The rest of the guys were expecting Miz to get mad at this. Surprisingly Miz kept his cool.

The Miz: Which is what he'll say. Now I don't need to explain the story of how The Miz became The Miz- it's pretty well documented, but one thing that drives me nuts about guys like Chris Jericho is his lack of respect for a guy like me. Despite everything I've done, despite that I'm one of the most decorated successful wrestlers in the HISTORY of the EBWF he still looks down on me like I don't belong, like I don't deserve it. Chris Jericho in his heart of hearts still believes that he is better than me.

Matt: How do you know he's not?

The Miz scoffed.

The Miz: How do I know he's not? How do I.. really? How do we know the sky is blue? Or that sun is hot? Or that the earth is round. It's just something that is an understood truth for EVERYONE.. everyone EXCEPT Chris Jericho. Chris Jericho has an ego so big that it's made him delusional- it's made him COMPLETELY lose touch with reality. It is going to be a horrific sight to see at the Royal Rumble when the referee's hand hits for three and I retain this EBWF World Championship. You are gonna see an emotion out of Chris Jericho- that will seem crazy to anyone else knowing that the far superior wrestler- yours truly- was going to win this match all along.. but when I beat Chris Jericho at the Royal Rumble- he is literally going to be SHOCKED. I know.. shocked that he lost to me, crazy to even think about. It's like a watermelon being shocked that it didn't make it through a Gallagher set.

The men laughed. Matt was still not impressed.

Matt: I wouldn't be so sure about that Miz.

The Miz: Ryan who is this guy?

Bryan: That's Matt.

The Miz took a sip of his Coors Light.

The Miz: Well Pat..

Matt: Matt.

The Miz: Right who cares.. I am sure about that. You see when you're The Miz- there are a few things your always sure of. Great hair.. cool clothes.. hot chicks.. and that you're better than jamoaks like Chris Jericho. When I look in the mirror I not only see someone with movie star good looks, but I also see a man staring back at me that is already and will continue to lead the EBWF by example. I see a man staring back at me that is without question the STANDARD in this company. When Chris Jericho looks in the mirror, he probably sees that fruit cake with a high pony tail that you guys are actually probably old enough to remember, instead of the mid life crisis having dude who is borderline ready for hair plugs. So it's easy to understand why Chris Jericho will be so confident, it's easy to see why Chris Jericho is bat shit crazy enough to think he's going to walk out of Royal Rumble the EBWF World Champion. He's refused to grow up, he's refused to accept that life and this business is passing him by. To be honest guys, I can't wait to see that look of shock on his face on Sunday Night, because I will know in that moment- reality will be setting in- I will know that after the match when Chris looks into the mirror he won't see that young version of himself who could be the fourth member of Hanson- but instead he'll see an old tired shell of his former self. He'll see a beaten.. tired.. old has been who for the first time is realizing that not only SHOULD he respect me.. but he should BOW DOWN to me. I'm better than Chris Jericho is now.. I'm better than Chris Jericho ever was.. and at Royal Rumble it's going to be the most glorious thing in the world the horror that comes onto his face when that fact hits him like a ton of bricks.

Matt: I think you better get ready to lose that strap bro.

The Miz: Bro? Is this guy seri.. alright bro.. it's cool. I can tell your obviously a Jericholic and probably an alcoholic- but either way I'm going to make your day. I'm going to go back to my roots here and have my first back yard wrestling match, since I was HOO RAHING and holding up fake title belts. You in?

Matt: Wait really? Yeah let's do it! Ha- this is crazy.

You could tell the rest of the guys were kind of jealous as Miz took off his suit coat. He entered the ring. Bryan and his "opponent" exited. Bryan got all excited. He put on his best announcing voice.

Bryan: Next up in the Backyard Wrestling Federation we have a special treat as Matt Attack will go one on one with- EBWF World Champion- The Miz.

The Miz smirked at this. A bell was rung and the match was underway. The Miz went for a lock up and surprisingly Matt had pretty good technique. He put Miz into a side headlock, and Miz shrugged away. He had a friendly smile on his face.

The Miz: Nice man.. not bad at all.

Matt: Thanks dude.

The Miz: Let's try it again.

The Miz and Matt went to lock up again, but this time The Miz hit Matt with a stiff left hand catching him square in the jaw. Matt cried out in pain, Miz had clearly tagged him for real. He got down to Matt's level as the rest of the men were no longer having fun. They were considering rushing the ring to go after Miz. Miz was extremely intense.

The Miz: You need to learn some respect big boy. Do you think I'd ever let someone like you talk to me the way you did today huh? Do you really think I'd like someone like you disrespect me?! While you sleep on your pull out couch and day dream about mattering- I am living your dream- I am what ANY ONE OF you could be if you actually did something besides sit around playing against 11 year olds in Halo on Xbox Live. So I'll be damned if I'm going to listen to any of you tell me THAT I CAN'T. I CAN.. I HAVE. I've accomplished more in this life than any of you could in 20 lifetimes.. and the reason I have is because I have a will.. a want.. NO A NEED to be the very best. Chris Jericho isn't driven by that same desire. Chris Jericho doesn't lace up his boots to be the best- he laces up his boots so that people don't forget who the hell he is. Chris' only motivation is to never be left behind. He can't take anybody coming in and stealing the spotlight- even though the spotlight is something he hasn't deserved in a VERY long time if ever. The bad news I have for Chris Jericho- and for any of you who may be rooting to see him back on top, is that the spotlight is firmly placed on the ONLY man in the EBWF that deserves it and that is ME. So Chris' pathetic attempt to try and get people to clap for him again at my expense is exactly that.. PATHETIC.. and sure they'll clap at first for him. They'll be all excited and until the bell rings and they and you all will see your little hero.. your savior.. be as over matched as he's ever been in his entire career. This is a match that is going to define Chris Jericho.. it's going to stay with him..eat away at him.. because he has this notion that he can just step into the ring once every 6 months and be successful. He has this notion that he's still ready for the big time.. the main events.. the bright lights.. but I can assure you losers that Chris Jericho is NO LONGER ready for that big stage.. Chris Jericho at Royal Rumble to put it in words that he can understand-is going to STEP INTO THE LIGHTS AND THEN HE'LL KNOW.. that he was STOPPED AND DROPPED.. by The CHAMP.

Matt continued to hold his jaw in pain. Miz was basically yelling in his face.

The Miz: BECAUSE I'M THE MIZ.. AND I'MMMMMMM

He whispered his last word right in Matt's face.

The Miz: Awesome.

The Miz exited the ring, without another word he picked up his suit coat and EBWF Championship. He got back into the limo, and the limo drove off into the distance as the scene faded to black.
THE MIZ
