Marking his 9th year with EBWF, Kurt Schneider continues to serve on the board as Chief Financial Officer.
Nicole Ikeda-Orton continues her tenure as a member of the Board of Directors, but has been promoted to Chief Brand Officer, making her the new EBWF Global Brand Ambassador for government, advertising, media, business partnership and investors. “I am beyond excited for my new role in EBWF. We take very seriously our philanthropic initiatives, and cherish the relationships we have with these organizations and our fanbase. I am confident that EBWF will continue to grow our business partnerships throughout the world, continuing to make it possible to broadcast our programming in over 50 countries every week,” said Mrs. Orton.
Joining the EBWF Board of Directors is Paul Heyman, who has been a staple in the professional wrestling business for nearly 30 years. Heyman will serve as the Director of Live Events, responsible for securing facilities for live events and acting as a liaison between the EBWF Production Staff and the cities in which they perform. Heyman is also a creative consultant to the EBWF Creative Staff.
Also new to the Board, is Executive Vice President of Global Marketing, Jessica Rushing. Jessica has worked for EBWF since 2012, and previously served as the Assistant Talent Relations Director. Jessica’s team is responsible for all digital content and multi-media produced by EBWF, excelling in expanding the EBWF brand through EBWF.net and social media. Jessica is also responsible for networking with our global partners, expanding the EBWF Brand around the world.
The Board of Directors is excited to welcome the new Executive Vice President of Global Digital Media, Danielle Costa. Danielle is a talented photographer who has worked with EBWF for over 9 years. Danielle will oversee the continued development of EBWF.net, overseeing all of its exclusive content, as well as all EBWF Mobile Platforms. Ms. Costa will continue to serve her team as the Director of Photography.
Finally, joining the Board of Directors, is the incomparable Jim Ross. Jim is a 40+ year veteran of the professional wrestling business, having served EBWF as its lead announcer for nearly 15 years. “I am pleased to have the opportunity to work with the talented men and women of EBWF. The Superstars and Divas here are second to none, and I look forward to being their advocate in the years to come,” Ross said of his new role.
Though not members of the EBWF Board of Directors, Richard Roberts will remain in his role as General Manager of Advice and Counsel. Lynne McClinton is still the EBWF’s Public Relations Advisor, and Dr. Hope Clemente will stay on as the Director of EBWF Medical and Training Staff. Joining these three as a valued member of the EBWF Administrative Staff, is Chris Jericho. Jericho is an 8x EBWF World Champion, who previously served the EBWF administration as interim CEO. He joins the staff as Director of New Talent Development, responsible for talent recruitment and training of future EBWF Superstars. Chris will work most closely with EBWF acquisition, Border City Wrestling, out of Windsor, Ontario, Canada.
CEO, Wes Ikeda, had this to say about the administrative changes in his organization. “EBWF has set out to prove, once again, why we are a force to be reckoned with in our industry. The additions of Paul, Jessica, Danielle and Jim to our board of directors is a testament to our commitment to present world class products to our fans year after year. The expansion of Nicole’s role on our team will create more opportunities for us to give back to our fans and the communities in which they live. As for the expansion of our talent development department, Chris Jericho is the best wrestler in the world. Period. When you’re the best in the world at what you do, and as passionate about the forward momentum of EBWF as Chris is, it only makes sense that he would share his gift with the future of our business. Chris Jericho at the helm of our New Talent Development initiative ensures EBWF will have the longevity to continue another fifteen years and beyond.”
