The scene opens right after Dolph Ziggler cut his promo on Warfare. As he’s walking backstage, he’s receiving glances from several other EBWF employees, wrestlers and staff alike. He takes his blazer off, and drapes it over his shoulder as he continues to roam the halls. He had just given management a challenge, something you don’t see often. Dolph challenged management to give him an opponent of their choosing, whomever they want. Now, he hoped they’d take the bait, and provide him with what he wanted. As he let his mind wander around the list of wrestlers that can be thrown his way, Ziggler was approached by Jonathan Coachman.
“Ziggler, I’d like to get your thoughts on…”
Ziggler, without even acknowledging he’s being approached, got in his car, and drove off, as serious as he’s ever been.

A FEW DAYS AGO
Dolph was sitting backstage on a bunch of crates. He wore his black tights under a sleeveless “Slayer” top. As the camera panned away, Ziggler is visibly seen taping up his wrists. The crowd is heard muffled in the background, as Ziggler looks up to face the camera with a smirk across his face.
“For years, in whatever company I wrestled in, whichever name I used… I made sure everyone knew who I was and what I do. Breeze says I’m old, Owens says I’m irrelevant. And I can’t fully disagree. I am older, and I am being dragged to irrelevance by management who doesn’t recognize my talent. BUT! There’s one thing that no one can take away from me, my undeniably amazing talent. My ability to always back up my claims, and put on an amazing show for these voices you hear behind me, these voices some ignore!”
Ziggler finishes taping up his wrists and lifts himself up and off the crates. He releases his hair, which was previously caught in a ponytail, and stares straight into the camera.
“This past week, I’ve received questions from the fans and critics alike about what I did on Warfare. For those who didn’t watch, at Warfare I called management out on their crap. I told them to find me an opponent… So far they have had nothing for me. Today I get here to this live event, and they inform me that I have a match with Enzo Amore. Now, they wanted me to cut a promo on this guy, but I just don’t want to growl and use a raspy voice to tell Enzo what I’m going to do on Warfare. Because when all the dust settles and all is said and done, we all know that I can put on such a good match that Enzo Amore could be made to look like the greatest gift God’s given to man. On Warfare, no words will be needed, because… On Warfare, I won’t show off, I’ll back it up… And you can’t teach that.”
The scene fades to black as “Here to Show the World” by Downstait plays over the audio system, prompting Ziggler to make his way to the stage.
