OOC: Busy weekend- and wife just getting home from NYC- sorry for the short RP!

In the blink of an eye- The Miz' had seen his momentum dwindle since losing his EBWF World Championship to Chris Jericho. However, at Wrestlemania The Miz made a surprise appearance teaming with AJ Styles to earn a victory over Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns. It was a match that saw Brock Lesnar be dropped like a bad habit by long team advocate Paul Heyman. It was a match that got people talking, but certainly did not do much to get The Miz back to the top of the mountain where he wanted to be. At Warfare, The Miz would start the long climb back to the top with a match against Carlito. As one may expect, he wouldn't be impressed at the thought of this match.

The scene opened up in the Los Angeles home of the Miz. The camera went inside the lavish home and immediately we were in The Miz' theatre. The lights were on in this room and The Miz sat about 5 rows from the front. He had his feet up on the row in front of him. He wore dark blue jeans and a white button up. His hair was slicked around, and he had a distracted look on his face as if he was deep in thought. Finally he started talking, not acknowledging the camera at first.

The Miz: This business is a fickle one. One minute you can be on top of the world, riding stretch limo's, attending the most extravagant parties, sitting up on a throne of success looking down on the rest of the company... and the next you are sitting in your home theatre- trying to get yourself mentally prepared for a match against freaking Carlito. Momentum can come as quickly as it goes- this business is truly kill or be killed and for the better part of this last year- The Miz has certainly done more killing than just about anyone. Which is why it's just downright mean.. cruel really- to subject a guy like Carlito to a match against someone like me. Do you know where I am at right now Carlito? Do you know where my mind set is. Wes Ikeda is the friggin World Champion of the EBWF.. Wes... Ikeda. I feel like I'm in the twilight zone. What has the EBWF come to? Wes Ikeda is the World Champion- and The Miz is facing Carlito.. Caribbean.. Cool.... really? Wes Ikeda.. is the World Champion.. and the Greatest of the Great- Cream of the Crop- Best Wrestler on the god damn planet- is facing an apple biting, afro having jamoak like Carlito... REALLY!? Am I getting Punk'd? Is this real life? Well if it is reality- if it is reality- then that is exactly where I'm going to bring Carlito back to reality. You see underneath those puffy locks of afro hair- Carlito actually thinks he has a chance to beat me- somewhere he bites on a nice juicy Macintosh and says at Warfare- I'm going to beat The Miz. Somewhere Carlito thinks- "If Wes Ikeda can be EBWF Champion.. why can't I beat The Miz" and though the logic somewhat makes sense.. the answer is simple- it's because he's Carlito.. and I'm the freaking Miz... that's why he can't beat me.. and if he wants to try to prove me wrong on that.. I suggest that he digs through that fro of his and tries to find a clue.. because he obviously doesn't have one. The fact is- the reality is- I am way out of Carlito's league- and just because EBWF has all of a sudden become a land where anything can happen- Carlito beating me on Warfare just isn't one of those things.

The Miz shook his head.

The Miz: EBWF right now is unpredictable- it's unstable- but maybe that's why EBWF has set this match. Maybe that's why they have created such an obvious mismatch- such an obvious massacre- that is going to occur- so that they can bring back some predictability- some stability. At some point- the show can't continue to be SO shocking- it can't continue to be SO unpredictable- people's heads are going to literally explode if there's too many more surprises. So on Monday Night- The Miz brings the EBWF back some normalcy- on Monday Night the Miz brings the EBWF back some legitimacy- because on Monday Night The Miz is going to take his first step back to the EBWF World Championship when he beats the living hell out of Carlito..

BECAUSE I'M THE MIZ- and I'm AWESOME.

The Miz smirked.

The Miz: Now that's cool.

The camera faded to black.
