As the Warfare crowd was awaiting the next match the familiar sound of Kevin Owens music hit the speakers and out came Mr Wrestling to a chorus of boos. Wearing his ring gear Owens strode to the ring confidently. The crowd continued to boo him as he rolled into the ring and picked up the microphone that had been left for him. Owens waited for the crowd to die down a little before starting to speak.

Kevin Owens - Now later on tonight I have to face an opponent of Stone Cold Steve Austin’s choosing to get a shot at the constantly missing in action champion Chris Jericho.

The crowd cheered at the mention of their favourite champion.

Kevin Owens - Well you know, ever since that was announced my Twitter has been going crazy with different suggestions on who it might be. Look.

Owens gestured to the TitanTron which flashed up a whole host of different quotes from Twitter, from a whole variety of people picking different fantasy opponents for Owens.

Kevin Owens - Everyone you could ever imagine has been suggested, from the greatest of all time to guys wrestling in bingo halls -
Hulk Hogan (the crowd cheered)
Bret Hart (once again the crowd cheered)
The Miz (the mention of the Awesome superstar immediately changed to jeers)
Dolph Ziggler (once again there were cheers)
Sami Zayn (Kevin Owens great foe bought a huge reaction from the fans who started a lengthy YES chant. The whole time Owens had a disinterested look on his face)
Tyler Breeze (boos once again)
Sasha Banks (the Legit Boss got a mixed response)
Seth Rollins (there were cheers at the mention of a possible dream match with the new superstar)
John Cena (there were boos once again for the former EBWF superstar)
Wes Ikeda (once again the reaction changed completed at the mention of the recently absent superstar)
BLAINE Ikeda (there was another YES chant at the mention of Wes’s son)

After listing all of those who had been mentioned, clearly to Owens annoyance, the fans started a big Sami Zayn chant. Kevin went over to one corner of the ring and sat on the top turnbuckle waiting for the chant to die down. Once it did he put the microphone back to his mouth.

Kevin Owens - Quite frankly to me it doesn’t matter who Steve picks because I’ll back myself against anyone in that locker room. But the interesting thing Chris is this entire week the world has been talking about the EBWF world title. Something that hasn’t happened for months. You see what it proves is the world is bored of you as a champion Chris (the crowd booed). The idea that I’ll be crowned as the number one contender has the world excited. They don’t want you as champion any more. The world is fed up with you not even bothering to turn up each week and when you’re challenged getting your buddy Stone Cold to weasel you out of it.

The crowd continued to boo.

Kevin Owens - All of you can boo, but you know the truth. Each of you is sick to death with Chris Jericho. I keep hearing this week why do I deserve a chance to be the number one contender for the title. Well, why not? I’m the man that poked the bear Chris, I stirred up the hornet's nest. I’m not sitting back and waiting for my chance I’m here making things happen. Now Stone Cold might have decided to try and prevent that from happening. But you and I both know Chris is just a way of adding a few extra days to your title reign, because your days as champion are numbered.

Owens hopped down from the turnbuckle and began to pace around the ring.

Kevin Owens - So Steve send out whoever you want tonight, I’m ready and waiting. I’m ready to do whatever it takes to get what I deserve, and to get what the world wants and that is take that title from around your waist.

Throwing the microphone to the floor Owens music played once again as he left the ring.
