[Reborn Matt Sydal]

At the beach in Clearwater, Tampa Florida Matt in his camouflage jams is seen surfing on big waves with great balance.

Voice over( Matt Sydal):
I’m a morning person, I literally kip up out of bed and it is go time. I like to start off with some surfing. Some of the boys have joined me, Nakamura, Ricochet, Sami Zayn. It is a great help on concentration. I pride myself on being a solid wrestler, that is what I get a lot of respect from veterans for, being very crisp. I’m a perfectionist.

Matt is next seen on the beach doing yoga, he starts out crouched in the “ Child’s Pose” on his hands and knees face down next he slowly goes into a headstand holding the headstand for a minute then dropping down into a bridge rolling back into a handstand walking on his hands finally dropping into a perfect split.

Voice over( Matt Sydal): When I finish my morning routine, I have a five four flight today to Canada at twelve today. I shouldn’t but I do still ride my motorcycle.

All I’ve ever wanted to do was be a pro wrestler. I never wanted to do it for money at all, that just came as a result of me doing it. Alex Shelley and I have wrestled before, he’s beaten me; we did the original shooting star-RKO, dude is fantastic.

I have proven myself over the 16 years I’ve been doing this, I know I mention that a lot but I’ve proven time and time again I’m not just a high-flier, I’m a super junior. I am the best at chain wrestling, I have over 30 submissions I can lock you up with a bow and arrow-Boston Crab combination and The Namaste Lock, I can pin you in more than 12 different ways.

Alex Shelley he is amazing but he has no idea how much drive I have, how much pride I have. People like to make their comments, sure I’m average size of an American but smaller for a wrestler, I smoke pot, I think it should be legal. I’m too nice. I smile to much. I’m too small but I’ve also proven I’m to much for my opponents to handle. You know why I smile so much? I’ve been living my dream for 17 out of 33 years of my life. Why do I smile? I get to work with legends I grew up watching on TV and trading tapes as a kid.

Why I am nice? Midwestern upbringing plus I’m not an asshole. Maybe it would be easier to get ahead if I was not as friendly, not as respectful but I am aware of the talents of others and this business is competition, I’m not out to hurt anyone, kill anyone or anything, so I pay respect to the friends and colleagues who came up with me, guys like Cesaro and Alex Shelley.

There are plenty of wrestlers I don’t respect, I definitely know that Baron Corbin and Eva Marie don’t belong, it makes me sick to see a Football player and football fanatic since age seven get a free pass into the business because of family at 25 when I was 8 years pro by 25.

I am the BEST Super Junior working today, from the backyards of Saint Louis Missouri to Madison Square Garden to the Tokyo Dome I’ve made my mark, I’ve cut my teeth and I will not be overlooked, I will not be
packaged as a clean cut, whitemeat, boring hero to the children. I’m a hippie and I'm proud of it, just like how I'm proud to be a pro wrestler.
