The scene opens up backstage where Cactus Jack is getting ready for the start of the pay-per-view. Noticing the camera, he turns to give his statement.

“Sacrifice, something my opponent tonight knows nothing about. My entire career has been nothing but sacrifice. Of my body, of my mind, of my health. I gave it all to the ungrateful masses and was left with nothing to show for it other than a long list of injuries. But I finally woke up and I let myself see the truth. The truth that none of those people gives a damn about any one of us and so we should return the favor by not giving a damn about any of them either. I’m sure if Cas has his way he’ll do what he can to entertain the crowd. He’ll spout catch phrases and pose and posture like the rest of the idiots around here. But I’m not going to give these people what they want. I am simply going to go down to the ring and beat his ass. That’s all there is to it.”

Cactus gives the camera a shove as he walks away.
